Fantasy Lord: Beginning with Daily Intelligence Chapter 178 - 134: The Nobility’s Heritage, the Vast Dressro
Thor was montarily stunned, then quickly shook his head in refusal.
Just as Thor was about to refuse, Count Engle’s voice sounded again.
"Don’t refuse just yet. You might not know this, but your Uncle Marshall is likely to soon break through as an Earth Knight. Going to the Northern Province might help you with so matters as well."
His words were calm.
Yet, it was this calm tone that instantly made Thor’s eyes widen.
"Father, is... is what you’re saying true?"
Thor was genuinely surprised at this mont.
It was set that there were only two Earth Knights, so how is another one suddenly appearing?
Although it’s only about to break through and not yet broken through.
But that’s surprising enough.
"It is indeed true. Most likely within the next few months."
Count Engle nodded, reaffirming it.
"This!"
Hearing his father’s confirmation, Thor was at a loss for words.
And, as if understanding Thor’s confusion.
"Are you puzzled?"
Count Engle chuckled softly.
"Father, how many Earth Knights does our Dressrosa Family actually have?"
Seeing Count Engle’s chuckle, Thor collected his thoughts, hesitated slightly, but couldn’t help but inquire.
There’s no helping it; he was just too curious.
His cousin, Ruby Dressrosa, is an Earth Knight, and Uncle Marshall is about to beco one.
What about the other family mbers?
A 300-year-old family lineage couldn’t be entirely accounted for.
"Not many, just five!"
Seeing Thor’s curious expression, Count Engle chuckled and then spoke.
"Five, only five?"
Thor was taken aback, his expression incredulous.
Not because it’s too many.
But because it’s too few.
Honestly, from everything I’ve encountered, if soone said the Dressrosa Family had ten, I’d believe it.
After all, even without considering others, just previously my father, Michael, Ruby’s father, Ruby, that already makes four.
And that’s just on the surface. Thor didn’t believe there weren’t more Earth Knights behind the scenes.
That’s impossible.
"Indeed, only five."
"Of course, currently, there are only four. I have already broken through to Sky Knight. The others are your Uncle Michael, Uncle Chesire, your second uncle, and your second uncle’s son Ruby."
Count Engle explained with a smile.
Providing an explanation to Thor.
However, this explanation only made Thor more puzzled.
The numbers seed to add up, yet sothing felt off.
Suddenly, Thor seed to realize sothing.
He pondered for a mont.
Amidst Count Engle’s spreading smile, his voice, tinged with doubt, rang out.
"That’s not right, Father. You’ve said since your grandfather’s ti, the Dressrosa Family started expanding, yet over so many years, not a single Earth Knight has erged?"
"From what I know, the Dressrosa Family’s na among the Pioneer Knights is quite prominent. This isn’t sothing a family in the Frost Moon Province could easily achieve."
Thor frowned slightly, recognizing the inconsistency.
When he arrived in Loren City of the Northern Province, the Dressrosa Family facilitated many conveniences for him.
Initially, he assud it was because he was a scion of a Count’s Family, but later he realized it wasn’t quite the case. After all, there were many scions of Counts who beca Pioneer Knights and even quite a few Marquis. The Dressrosa Family had nothing particularly special.
It wasn’t until later that Thor vaguely sensed that the Dressrosa Family’s reputation among Pioneer Knights played a role.
And gaining prestige among Pioneer Knights was almost self-evident.
But it still didn’t seem to add up.
Fortunately, the confusion didn’t persist.
Count Engle chuckled and addressed Thor’s doubts.
"Hahaha!"
"Thor, of course, this doesn’t include the family mbers who beco Pioneer Knights. If Marshall follows you and breaks through, he too will not be counted as one of the family’s Earth Knights."
His words were filled with humor.
And it was this very statent that widened Thor’s eyes.
"Not counted?"
He blurted out instinctively, his heart skipping a beat.
"Of course not counted."
"If added, it certainly wouldn’t just be five. More accurately, it would be twelve."
"Wow!"
Count Engle spoke, and the next mont, raised a hand.
A curtain behind him was pulled down.
A large map of the Tulip Kingdom was unveiled.
Red circles marked various locations.
The Dressrosa Castle was marked with the largest red circle.
Elsewhere in the Frost Moon Province, there were two circles; the Nanyue Province had seven circles, the Royal Capital had two circles, and the Northern Province had twelve circles.
In total, the map was nearly covered in red circles.
So large, so small; the largest was nearly half the size of where Dressrosa Castle is located, the smallest was barely a grain of rice.
Thor even saw a familiar area.
It was the Maine River Valley, also marked with a circle, and it wasn’t the smallest, roughly the size of a soybean.
Count Engle’s voice soon followed.
"Over the past two hundred years, our family has continuously expanded. Currently, there should be fifty-seven territories: two Count territories, seven Viscount territories, seventeen Baron territories including yours, and additionally thirty-one Pioneer territories."
In the room filled with Count Engle’s voice wasn’t loud, but combined with the map’s display, the impact was overwhelming.
At this mont, Thor opened his mouth, montarily unsure of what to say.
He had imagined the family was formidable, but never to such an extent.
Twelve Earth Knights; this might even be more than the Assad Family’s Earth Knights.
While not as strong, considering the Assad Family has at least three Earth Knight Peaks, if the Dressrosa Family had such strength, it wouldn’t be the Assad Comrce Association; it would be the Dressrosa Comrce Association, or even the Eagle rchant Association.
But even so, it’s already formidable.
Surpassing at least ninety percent of Count’s Families.
Even so Marquis Families might not compare.
Thor even suspected the previous Dressrosa Family might not be inferior to the Marquis Pat’s Family.
"Hahaha, how about it, are you shocked!"
Count Engle looked at his son’s expression and chuckled.
At this mont, seeing his son’s reaction brought him comfort.
His son had been too calm these past few days.
It left him feeling a bit challenged.
At last, sothing had truly shaken him.
"Indeed, Father."
Thor took a deep breath, then nodded, sighing lightly.
This ti, he was genuinely shocked to the core.
Even with so speculation, the splendid family power was still overwhelming.
It’s like believing the family to be rely millionaires, only for his father to reveal that among these millions, there were an additional twelve, and quite a few hundred thousand more as well.
Billionaires, no, wealthier than billionaires.
The impact was considerable.
And seeing Thor shake his head in awe, Count Engle couldn’t help but smile wider.
