Now reading: Chapter 1128 - 1128 642 Hidden Gains3 from Farming in a Parallel World and Becoming a God, a Fantasy novel by Eternal Night Knight.

1128: Chapter 642: Hidden Gains_3 1128: Chapter 642: Hidden Gains_3 And this is just the central part of the City of Faith, it’s inevitable to have fortress bastions rising at both the east and west bridgeheads, this part is naturally made of stone.

Instead of quarrying from the Stormhorn Mountains, the stone was directly sourced along the riverbed of the Wild Border River, where they found a suitable quarry spot to carry out semi-underground mining.

The Wild Border River is ford by the protruding branches of two mountains, and many of its riverbeds are not accumulated with silt but washed incredibly clean, exposing the stone bed.

Sourcing stones from here and transporting them upwards saves much more ti and effort than quarrying from the Stormhorn Mountains.

The West Bridge Fortress is built standardly, forming a huge semicircle, with an area inside the walls that can accommodate at least five thousand troops and civilians.

The shape of the East Bridgehead Fortress is much more irregular, and far larger than the West Bridge Fortress.

To call it a fortress is an understatent; it’s more like a massive expanding wall because it needs to completely encompass the Magic Farmland, harmonized by Gaven’s Power of Favorable Weather.

Such strategically significant land must, of course, be heavily protected.

With these ten square kiloters of farmland within the city, the future City of Faith will fear no lengthy siege.

Therefore, although the covered area here is much larger compared to the West Bridge Fortress, the usable area for construction is actually less, able to accommodate around three thousand troops and civilians.

In other words, the initial planning for the City of Faith’s population is around ten thousand.

Only a small part of the Conqueror Army will stay here, with the majority continuing on.

The original target remains unchanged – the Valley.

However, the road they take henceforth will no longer be called the Conqueror Path, but the nature of their migration and conquest remains unchanged.

In ti, it will simply be cloaked in a guise of civilization.

Another important interest point for the Conqueror Army is the Lizard Court in the Tun Marsh.

As for how substantial this specific gain is, no one can say for sure, including the Lizard Queen herself.

Her ruling model is a ss.

Ostensibly a royal court, it’s essentially a shell.

The ones who usually surround her are a bunch of haphazardly titled ministers and generals, guarded by a group of Half-Black Dragon Lizardfolk and Evil Fang Lizardfolk to serve her food and drink.

She pays no mind to the Blackscale Lizardman Tribes as long as they submit ample wealth and even more importantly, food, on ti.

When the ti of the Lizard Queen was up, and she was forcefully dragged back to Weizemay Manor, the Lizardfolk Army lurking in the Wild Border River secretly snuck back to the Tun Marsh.

Gaven wasn’t surprised by this.

Previously, their use of the Lizardfolk Army was based on their fear and blind loyalty to the Lizard Queen; they were temporarily conscripted.

As ti passed, they’d gradually realize that sothing was amiss, especially with the Lizard Queen vanishing without returning to Tun Marsh, surely there would be backlash.

To truly bring the Lizardfolk Army under his reign, and utilize them to assist in ruling Goblin Margins would require substantial effort.

Appointing the Lizard Queen as the New Vizier publicly was a preparation for this task.

To thoroughly subjugate the Lizardfolk Army, Gaven must personally delve into the Tun Marsh.

Before doing this recklessly alone, he made a trip back to Weizemay Manor to summon another important figure from the Lizard Court – the forr Vizier, the Spirit Soul Naga Alhasan.

rely at first sight, before Gaven could speak, the Spirit Soul Naga was already sniveling and weeping: “I am willing to hand over the Soul Stone, I am willing to hand over the Soul Stone, just please, Lord, don’t lock up with Kurgor, even void confinent would do.”

Spirit Soul Naga hadn’t been in void confinent for full three days, when after the Lizard Queen was dragged back to Weizemay Manor, the Six-ard Snake Demon ca up with a new taming trick – locking up the Lizard Queen with Spirit Soul Naga, forcing them into a corporeal state.

This served two purposes.

It provided a suitable outlet for the raging Lizard Queen and simultaneously eroded the proud and freedom-loving will of Spirit Soul Naga.

If you were to ask who the Lizard Queen hated most, it wasn’t Gaven that ca first, but Spirit Soul Naga Alhasan.

Not only did he deliver the fatal blow to her, he was undeniably a betrayer.

Traitors are always the most loathed.

What’s more, the overwhelming power Gaven exhibited was far too prodigious.

The Lizard Queen beca sowhat cowardly; she dared not and lacked the power to hate him, so she directed all her fury onto Spirit Soul Naga, even blaming him for her current plight.

Putting the two together, there could only be one outco.

The Lizard Queen directly engulfed Spirit Soul Naga alive, and that’s ant quite literally.

Bit by bit, she used her very own teeth to grind Spirit Soul Naga into mush before swallowing him into her stomach.

But they weren’t ordinary living beings now, and they were in Weizemay Manor – death wasn’t so simple.

Within just three minutes, Spirit Soul Naga would be revived in front of the Lizard Queen, and a fresh round of inhuman torture would begin, with never the sa thod twice—chewing to pieces, swallowing whole, flattening, Dragon Breath, and so on.

The Lizard Queen used all the tricks she could imagine on Spirit Soul Naga.

Especially once the Lizard Queen realized the cycle of death was endless, she grew more patient, not simply killing Spirit Soul Naga but deliberately prolonging the process, to let him taste more pain and despair.

Do not forget the true origin of Weizemay Manor – the Undead Vengeance Realm.
