Now reading: Chapter 116 - 116 95 Encircling the Harpy2 from Farming in a Parallel World and Becoming a God, a Fantasy novel by Eternal Night Knight.

116: Chapter 95: Encircling the Harpy_2 116: Chapter 95: Encircling the Harpy_2 As the Harpy Queen began her graceful dance, the other harpies ceased their aimless flight and started to hover around her, singing aloud, composing a beautiful, lodious, endlessly charming magical symphony.

The collective chanting of the harpies far surpassed the charm of a single harpy’s Song of Seduction as they used their music to pull at and weave the surrounding Magic Network, causing severe vibrations that spread out in all directions from Eagle Cliff, enveloping the area for kiloters.

And it broke through physical limitations, directly bypassing the earplugs Gaven and his companions wore, and penetrating deep into their souls.

Many Gnolls were already unable to contain themselves, staggering towards the outside of the burrow.

Just as the grand chorus of harpies was reaching its peak.

Boom!

A loud noise.

Ca from deep within Eagle Cliff.

The sound was so imnse.

It was like the first roar of a Giant Dragon awakening from its slumber.

And like the heavy pulse of the earth itself.

Into a pot of fine soup, suddenly plunged a ladle for scooping dung, completely destroying the perfect harmony of the grand chorus of harpies, so much so that their power of seduction was severely affected.

Many Gnolls snapped out of it on the spot, and those who were about to crawl out of their hiding places were scared and hastily hid deeper.

The Dragon Roar War Drum.

The earth as the base, the Giant Dragon as the skin, Erde as the hamr, Eagle Cliff as the throat.

This was the ultimate secret weapon of Eagle Cliff Burrow in their century-long struggle against the harpy flock.

Once this drum began to beat, it would not stop nor could it be stopped until the Erde who played the drum had battered themselves to death against it.

This was the price of using the Dragon Roar War Drum.

Every Gnoll of Eagle Cliff Burrow knew this.

When they heard the first roar of the Dragon Roar War Drum, they knew it was ti to charge and fight with all they had.

Because an Erde could only sound the Dragon Roar War Drum a dozen or so tis.

“Attack!” Zhang roared.

And charged out ahead of the others.

At the sa mont, countless Erdes sward out from tunnels big and small around Eagle Cliff.

Unlike before, these Erdes no longer fought on their own but were organized into squads of five, with the lead Erde holding no weapon but clutching a Psychic Stone in each hand.

The four Erdes behind him were also unard but worked together to hold a large fishing net, each at one corner.

The tactical plan was clear.

The leading Erde would fire a Psychic Bullet while the others would ensnare the harpy with the net and drag her to the ground.

There were twelve such squads in total, with more ordinary Erdes ready to reinforce from the outer periter.

The harpies were completely unprepared for this sudden tactical shift, and on the spot, seven of them were controlled and wrapped in fishing nets.

The successful Erdes, dragging their prey, plumted to the ground, their manner suggesting they were preparing to smash the netted harpies onto the earth.

A fall from hundreds of ters high—not to ntion a harpy, even a Giant Dragon would be left half-dead.

Of the remaining five squads, four failed to cast their spells, and one had a mishap with the net from behind and lost their grip.

The Erde who missed his shot was frantic; he pulled out a Dagger he carried, aid for the harpy’s throat, and savagely cut through, slicing her major artery and causing blood to spurt out.

The intense physical pain, on the contrary, roused the unconscious Harpy, who let out a howl and, flapping her wings, counterattacked with a claw strike that completely severed one of the Erde’s mbranous wings, sending him spiraling to the ground.

The badly injured harpy went into a frenzy, charging at the other three Erdes trying to reset the net.

Bang!

A delayed Psychic Bullet exploded in her brain, slowing her attack.

The three Erdes, no longer bothering to sort out the net, drew their Daggers and rushed forward, rcilessly stabbing at her neck, wings, and other vital areas.

No matter how tenacious the harpy’s life was, it couldn’t withstand such tornt and never had a chance to wake again.

The remaining harpies were getting anxious.

Especially those close to their captured kin, no longer caring for the chorus, they let out a howl and dove at the nearest captive, attempting to rescue them.

The reinforcing Erdes, each brandishing a shield and blade, charged forward, adopting a stance as if they would rather die than give way.

But when the harpies actually turned their attention to them, these Erdes were revealed to be all bluster and no bite, each fled with extraordinary speed.

The shields and blades were rely for show; they prioritized running if they could.

Boom!

The second sound of the Dragon Roar War Drum resonated longingly.

It once again disrupted the harpies’ grand chorus, infusing the Gnolls with even more courage.

As if to bolster the Dragon Roar War Drum, the seven harpies were inches away from the ground.

No matter how they flapped or scratched, they could not free themselves from the nets, nor stop their increasingly rapid descent.

They made the most intimate contact with the earth.

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

With their bodies, they played the last symphony of their lives upon the earth; each note different, yet equally cruel and bloody.

The huge impact of the fall from a great height instantly shattered their internal organs, blood sprayed widely, and their bodies twisted grotesquely.

Apart from two or three who still clung to their last breath, the rest died on impact.

The Erdes who had thrown the harpies down didn’t bother to check if their targets were dead or alive; they turned and darted for the nearest burrow.
