Chapter 1299: Chapter 699: Attributes of the Dragon Oak Mother Tree_3

The issue of unifying people’s hearts will be addressed once the journey begins. Those who can accept this way of life, climb onto the tree; those who can’t, step off the tree.

Right now, we’re short on manpower, which is why we’re indiscriminately allowing anyone willing to co onboard. Once more people wish to join later, we’ll need to start being selective. After all, the Mother Tree is only so big, and the survival space is limited.”

This approach isn’t the peaceful deliberative style typical of the Fae Race. It’s a straightforward, authoritarian tyrant mode, and this situation is inevitable. After all, the Dragon Oak Mother Tree isn’t just a city—it’s a war fortress, an unprecedented and terrifying weapon.

The laid-back and slow-paced lifestyle most Fae embody simply doesn’t work here. Freedom here is destined to be limited, and excessive opinions aren’t tolerated—especially during warti. There’s no ti to debate whether to fight or make peace, whether to fire or hold back.

Right now, Gaven and the others don’t have a choice. But when choices beco available, it won’t be a matter of whether Fae want to climb onto the Dragon Oak Mother Tree, but whether the Mother Tree deems them suitable.

In this regard, Lord Virginia has a broader perspective than Gaven. After all, she has always been the one managing every aspect of the Dragon Oak Mother Tree and is more familiar with its situation. She is the first transforr, and indeed the one who underwent the most dramatic changes. She’s entirely forgotten what the taste of a leisurely, idle life feels like.

Every day, she is either consud by matters of the Material Plane or dealing with various issues in the Dragon Oak Dream Realm. Especially the latter—many things simply cannot be delegated and demand her full commitnt. With her ti in high demand, where would she find space to entertain the endless chatter of the Fae? She processes matters in the simplest, most direct way possible, rendering irrelevant any minor grievances that arise as a consequence.

“Madam’s perspective is very accurate—the situation you describe is an inevitable stage in the Mother Tree’s developnt. However, we mustn’t crudely abandon those who struggle to adapt. Even if they are unsuited to the migration and warfare modes of the Dragon Oak Mother Tree, it doesn’t an they lack a sense of belonging to the Mother Tree or that they dislike the Dragon Oak Dream Realm.

We can absolutely find a relatively safe rearguard location—ideally an isolated space like an island—to resettle those who cannot adapt. If possible, it would be best to establish sothing akin to the Rose Tower in the Material Plane. From there, they could enter the Dragon Oak Dream Realm via dreams, which would be an excellent supplent to the Mother Tree’s strength.”

Gaven presented a more refined compromise: “Give a mont, I want to perform an experint. If the experint succeeds, these non-adapters might just gain a very good destination.”

The destination he referred to is none other than the Elf City, snoel.

The Tower of Dominion within snoel is capable of connecting to Weizemay Manor through Shadow Power. Since the Dragon Oak Mother Tree also originates from nature, there’s no reason it couldn’t establish the sa connection. The only obstacle is that when Gaven acquired snoel, the Dragon Oak Mother Tree was already in the midst of an upgrade, severing communication, and he hadn’t had the chance to experint.

Initially, Gaven intended the Tower of Dominion to serve as a major signal tower for the Dragon Oak Mother Tree in the Material Plane, helping the Mother Tree recruit more mbers. Now, its purpose seems far greater and mutually beneficial.

A city without inhabitants is no city at all. snoel currently has a resident population of fewer than 2,000, which is less than a tenth of its capacity. If smaller-bodied Fae were to move in, the population it could accommodate would naturally be much higher.

With Shadow Power paving the way for communication with Weizemay Manor, guiding Dream Power within the Dragon Oak Mother Tree would be a straightforward task for Gaven.

Now, Gaven’s link to the Dragon Oak Mother Tree is incomparably stronger than it was before the upgrade. With just a single thought, an overwhelming surge of Life Force would burst forth. This marks an entirely new transformation.

Previously, when Gaven channeled the Dragon Oak Mother’s strength, it penetrated through the Plane Barrier, creating an almost god-like, descending-from-above effect.

Now, with the Soul Channel established between them, the Mother Tree’s energy gushes directly out from Gaven’s Arcane Mage Tower, as though it were his own power.

And since Gaven is also the Controller of the Tower of Dominion, this torrent of energy is directly assud as his strength, producing a similar effect to casting spells through the Tower of Dominion.

The entire Tower of Dominion lit up layer by layer from top to bottom, transforming into a brilliant erald green. The surging Life Force, magnified tenfold, erupted like a tidal wave from the Tower, spreading outward instantaneously with Gaven’s consciousness riding at the crest of this Life Wave—this Dream Wave.

He could distinctly feel the wave’s passage, the jubilant cheers of flowers and trees, and the excited response from the Fae. This was the purest and most benevolent Life Force, bringing benefits with no drawbacks. Under its nourishnt, even deadwood could blossom anew.

The wave was so vast and so fierce that even when it reached the Tower of Dominion’s maximum coverage area, it showed no signs of stopping, continuing to surge outward. Unfortunately, Gaven’s Soul Consciousness was restricted and couldn’t continuously follow the wave to share in the joy with the natural beings along its path.

Nevertheless, Gaven believed these natural beings would recognize the source of this energy. Many would follow its trail and be drawn toward Mir Forest, sparking a new immigration wave to snoel.

As the news of being able to access the Dragon Oak Dream Realm from this location spreads, it won’t just attract the Fae Race from Mir Forest—even neighboring large forests’ Fae will feel compelled to co.

The Fae have information dissemination thods unimaginable to humans. The reputation of the Dragon Oak Dream Realm, whether in Fairy Wilderness or among Fae within the Felen Continent, is far more prominent than Gaven initially anticipated.

Previously, during Gaven’s Soul Consciousness exchange with Queen Arosh from the Tree Spirit Kingdom in King’s Forest, the other party already knew about his renown in this field.
