Chapter 1322: Chapter 707: When One Person Achieves Dao, Even Chickens and Dogs Ascend to Heaven_2

They can resemble dragons, but they can never truly beco dragons.

“Is this the Ascending Dragon Ritual? Is this the Dance of Ascension?”

Witnessing such a spectacle for the first ti, Giharin was utterly stunned. “I’ve long heard tales of the extraordinary gnolls recruited by the General in the Rocklands, but I never imagined they would be so unusual, completely shattering my perception of the gnoll race.”

The General’s achievents today are certainly no accident.

“With this Dance of Ascension alone, no gnoll would dare refuse it.”

The Wandering Dwarf King, initially hesitant to fully collaborate with Gaven, suddenly had all doubts erased.

“What is seen through a narrow lens offers a vast view.”

“For just a single gnoll, he has devised such an incredible spectacle.”

“Considering the fa of his Conqueror Army and the grand City of Faith, how much more astonishing must they be?”

“If anything, they are probably even stronger, because even the Koer Kingdom has been moved by them.”

But Giharin’s focus remained on the gnolls, because within the depths of the Tesser Yama Mine, surface-dwelling races held no advantage, while these seemingly insignificant little creatures found themselves squarely at the heart of the battlefield.

In Colossus City, their physical limitations had been completely broken—towering and robust gnolls that stood taller and sturdier than average humans could be spotted everywhere, making up at least a tenth of the population.

Given the massive gnoll numbers in Colossus City, even if only a tenth were this size, it equated to three or four thousand individuals—far surpassing the current numbers of the Iron Clan.

“This isn’t entirely my accomplishnt but stems from the gnolls’ inherent traits. I simply helped them unearth it and drove it to its limits,” Gaven said humbly. “They are approaching their limits now, so I will lend them my aid.”

The Dragon Seeking Ritual Ceremony clearly could not be sustained indefinitely.

As elents continued to gather, the pyramidal cycle created a feedback loop, causing the elents to flow inward without being released.

Once the maximum balance that Sha’no led the gnolls to maintain was exceeded, the ritual would automatically collapse, ending this cycle of the ceremony.

Just as it had occurred before in Eagle Cliff Town, such grand Dragon Seeking Ritual ceremonies were not a daily event—because they were entirely unnecessary.

The elents gathered on the gnolls would require a full ten days to dissipate.

During this ti, the gnolls would be nourished and transford by the elents, reducing their food requirents by half while greatly enhancing their energy. They could diligently mine for over fourteen hours each day without feeling fatigued.

Just this special buff alone made the large-scale Dragon Seeking Ritual more than worthwhile.

It wouldn’t matter if Gaven were absent, but since he was present, it was only natural for him to intervene in his own unique way.

“Please proceed, General.” Giharin not only refrained from stopping him but eagerly looked forward to seeing what other astonishing acts Gaven might perform.

Gaven nodded lightly in acknowledgnt, then leapt down from Colossus City. However, this ti he did not transform into a bipedal dragon, instead unfurling a pair of Red Copper Dragon Wings and flying toward Sha’no.

“Hou!”

Sha’no let out an exhilarated growl, channeling the surging torrents of elental energy toward Gaven, swirling and dancing around him.

She knew of Gaven’s imnse power. With his involvent, the duration of the Ascending Dragon Ritual would be significantly extended. The longer it lasted, the more elents would be gathered, spreading more evenly among the gnolls—and allowing more of them to overco their weaknesses, advancing into the next stage.

Though this rely expedited the process, it saved an imnse amount of ti and granted them opportunities for accelerated growth.

At the sa professional level, the growth pace of those infused with dragonization, dragon blood, and dragon veins differed vastly from ordinary gnolls.

Because the process activated spell-like abilities that bestowed substantial daily professional experience, especially at lower levels.

Bloodline abilities were rely initial aids—ultimately, they had to return to the regular professional system to further enhance their overall strength.

Yet Gaven had no intention of joining the Dance of Ascension directly; instead, he drew out a thick Red Copper-colored staff—the Dragon Oak Staff—and invoked a newly obtained ability from the Dragon Oak Mother Tree: the Light of Dream.

This ability was imnsely unique, serving both as a weapon capable of delivering dream strikes to enemies—specialized battles where physical attributes were asured by spiritual ones, causing devastating impacts to certain professionals—and as a temporary remote login device, enabling those within it to conduct one-ti remote access.

This instance, however, was about the third scenario.

When the Light of Dream descended upon Sha’no and the gnolls, the Dragon Oak Mother Tree reacted imdiately, not drawing their souls into the Dragon Oak Dream Realm but manifesting a spectral image of itself behind Gaven, its branches swaying in jubilant cheer.

Surging life force, channeled through Gaven, poured into Sha’no’s being and, through her special ability, dispersed into all the gnolls.

This vibrant green energy far surpassed the passive collection of elents, forming an energy channel visible to the naked eye.

From a distance, it appeared as though the majestic and enigmatic colossal tree had extended its roots into the gnolls.

In truth, this was precisely what had occurred, except the roots didn’t anchor themselves to their flesh but their souls. From this mont on, each gnoll left their own unique soul totem on the Dragon Oak Mother Tree.
