Chapter 1349: Chapter 716: The Future of Blood Gorge City_2

“I’ve long foreseen your predicant. Of the three thousand Hobgoblin Cavalry transferred to my side, aside from basic survival supplies and mounts, all their equipnt is left in Blood Gorge City. Once they catch up, I will rearm them separately.

Moreover, I have already reached a cooperation agreent with the Dwarves of the Iron Clan. Their True Shield Trading Company will dispatch a group of Dwarf Blacksmiths to Blood Gorge City within ten days. So of the Dwarf Fine Steel Ingots slted in Ruitawen from the Colossus City’s iron ore will be transported here to customize equipnt for you.

However, whether it’s the commission for the Dwarf Blacksmiths or the purchase of the Dwarf Fine Steel Ingots, Blood Gorge City must cover these costs themselves.”

When Gaven was solving the equipnt issues for the Conqueror Army, he naturally considered Blood Gorge City as well.

“No problem, the Lord has already helped us with the biggest issue.” Blood Claw nodded in agreent without hesitation. Owning over two hundred thousand livestock and half the output of the Giant Plains, he could be considered quite wealthy.

What they lacked was rely the channels, not the money.

The speed at which Blood Gorge City has developed on the Giant Plains is incredibly fast, and now it’s not just the Monster Tribes on the Giant Plains who can’t sleep well.

The leaders of the surrounding human forces have also started to suffer from sleepless nights, making it naturally impossible to sell large quantities of equipnt to them.

Even Raymond, the City Lord of Ruitawen City, who got along well with Gaven from the start, has, in recent interactions, subtly expressed concerns about Blood Gorge City’s overly rapid developnt.

Another benefit of Gaven withdrawing elite Hobgoblin forces from Blood Gorge City on a large scale is to reassure them, preventing them from taking more extre restrictive asures against Blood Gorge City.

Blood Gorge City still needs to continue its developnt as an important trade hub city in the future.

“In your developnt process, are there any other issues?” Gaven inquired.

“In fact, there is another issue that requires the Lord’s assistance to resolve. The Elves of the Xiermingst Forest are extrely furious about our city-building near their forest and have already killed over a hundred Goblin Servants who entered the forest to gather firewood.” Blood Claw’s face showed undisguised anger.

Although they usually don’t regard the lives of Goblin Servants as important, using them as expendables in war is one thing, but having them killed without reason is another, especially by the Elves hidden in the forest.

“You attempted to fell trees from the Xiermingst Forest?” Gaven couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow. This was real trouble; if not handled properly, the good reputation he painstakingly built among the Elves could be severely damaged.

“No, we strictly follow the Lord’s sustainable developnt policy, only sending those Goblin Servants to collect naturally dead trees and branches. We haven’t felled a single live tree, and most of our firewood relies on dry manure from the herds.”

Blood Claw assured with confidence, “I have been striving to suppress the soldiers’ tempers, but if this continues, once those Elves aim their sharp arrows at the Hobgoblin Soldiers, I can’t guarantee they won’t rise in retaliation.”

“As long as you ensure you haven’t stained yourself with Elf blood, there’s room for maneuver in this situation. I will make a trip to the Xiermingst Forest as soon as possible to contact the Elves there and see if we can improve relations and reach a friendly coexistence agreent.” Gaven took this matter seriously, elevating it to one of his top priorities to resolve.

“Thank you, my Lord.” Blood Claw bowed in gratitude, “There’s another matter I believe the Lord should be aware of. Not long ago, the Six Circles Council of Amu sent emissaries to declare Amu Kingdom’s ownership of the surrounding lands to us, demanding our surrender to Amu Kingdom.”

“Ha, they indeed have the nerve to reap the rewards.” Gaven couldn’t help but sneer, “They don’t have a single large city within a radius of three hundred kiloters, yet they claim this land as theirs? How did you handle them?”

The Amu Kingdom, this old neighbor to the north of the Tesser Kingdom, has a political system similar to that of the Sambiyan Kingdom, both being plutocracies.

However, there are significant differences between the two.

The Sambiyan Kingdom is ruled by a Great Commander elected by the rchants Council, sowhat like a presidential system. To win the position of Great Commander, they form factions, wildly promise benefits, collect political donations, and the internal strife is severe.

On the other hand, the Amu Kingdom is ruled by a group called the Six Circles Council, who keep their identities hidden from the public, known only among themselves. Therefore, they are also referred to as the Amu Six-Person Council or the Masked Council.

Although no one knows the identities of these six people, one thing is certain: they possess wealth rivaling nations and imnse power.

However, many people know that even these six individuals are not the true rulers of the Amu Kingdom but are puppets and spokesn supported by a stronger force.

Gaven is at least aware of two of the manipulators behind the scenes.

One is Aiwikelasa Gran, an ancient Blue Dragon. Her na might not be widely known, but her nickna has resounded across the Felen Continent for years. In Amu, Tesser, and the Karinshan Region, it’s used to stop children from crying. Many parents would say if you don’t behave, you’ll be given to Sharptooth for tooth grinding.
