They have now beco a part of the past, with the main body completely crushed by the Conqueror Army. Although so have fled into the Giant Plains, they can no longer pose a threat, only becoming vassals and henchn of other Monster Tribes.
Second only to the Troll Kingdom is the Hobgoblin Tribe. Their organized warlord nature gives them a very strong competitive edge in the wilderness, and the Giant Plains is no exception.
However, they are the primary targets for annexation by the Hobgoblins of Blood Gorge City.
Now, apart from the Hobgoblins of Blood Gorge City, no other large-scale, organized Hobgoblin tribes can be seen in the Giant Plains.
They either have beco part of Blood Gorge City or have retreated into the Giant Run Mountain Range or the Troll Mountain Region to hide.
When the two leading races were taken down, the races that were originally suppressed by them naturally rose to the top. And those filthy Orcs are among them.
In Felen, Orcs are synonymous with barbarism and destruction.
They rarely engage in production. The living supplies they need are provided either by enslaving other races or through warfare and plunder, and they target not only the Sage Races but also monster races.
Their presence can be found throughout the wilderness. Both the Sage Races and monster races detest them deeply and maintain a high-pressure state of war against them.
However, exterminating them has always been impossible. On the contrary, many towns of intelligent beings have been occupied and destroyed by them, and many Monster Tribes have been annihilated by them.
This mainly relates to two aspects.
One aspect is naturally their formidable combat power. This humanoid creature has a pig-like face with huge tusks protruding from its lips, crouching like a gorilla with arms strong to an absurd degree, comparable in stature to Hobgoblins.
If fighting alone and at the sa level, Hobgoblins find it hard to be a match for Orcs. They are born Barbarians, most with a bloodthirsty, berserk nature and an uncontrollable desire to slaughter.
However, if in group battles, the highly disciplined Hobgoblins usually hold an advantage.
For Humans and other intelligent beings, Hobgoblins and Orcs are synonymous with terrestrial Devils and Demons.
If you encounter a Hobgoblin warband, you might still negotiate, trade, or use a series of thods akin to drinking poison to quench thirst to temporarily appease them with huge benefits—only for them to co back with greater strength after they’ve reaped the benefits.
But if faced with the surging Orcs, prepare for a battle to the death. You either keep them at bay, or, if overrun, the males beco slaves or fodder, while females face a more tragic fate, being used to vent Orcish lust is just the beginning; they often beco breeding tools for the Orcs.
Here, we must ntion another extraordinary ability of Orcs. They have received the blessing and favor of Rusayka, the Orc fertility Goddess, wife of the Orc Main God Gewush, enabling them to breed blindly and frequently, giving them a reproduction ability stronger than any humanoid races, even rivaling Goblins and Gnolls.
Twins or even multiple births are common among Orcs, with eight out of ten being so, and they grow faster than ordinary humanoid creatures. They reach maturity at seven or eight years old and are adults at eleven or twelve.
Theoretically, their lifespan can reach sixty or seventy years, but their average life span in Felen is under twenty, and it’s rare for one to live past forty.
The most sinister aspect of this reproductive blessing is that it makes Orcs more likely to break reproductive isolation, making it easier to produce hybrid offspring with other species. When humanoid creatures of similar body type (such as Humans, Dwarves, or Hobgoblins) breed with Orcs, their offspring will be either Orcs or Half-Orcs.
And when Orcs breed with Ogres or Trolls, the result is a Half-Ogre or Half-Ogre Troll with astonishing strength and savage features.
There might even be Half-Ogres, though such instances are exceedingly rare; Orcs are more cannon fodder or slaves when facing Giants.
There’s another rare situation where those Orcs, overwheld by their bestial nature, turn their attention to livestock, resulting in more twisted, more deford, half-human-half-beast Demon Beastn.
They are not Beastn; they lack the transformation and contagious Lycanthropy abilities. They are rely monsters cursed and rejected by All Gods.
So most Sage Races, knowing their current enemies are Orcs and unable to hold their ground, would rather kill their wives and daughters with their own hands than let them fall into Orc hands, suffering inhuman treatnt and torture, and give birth to corrupted bloodlines bringing disaster to others.
The number of Half-Orcs in Felen is far greater than the world imagines. Their reputation is exceedingly poor, and they only avoid discrimination and targeting in a few places.
They not only possess the strong physique of their fathers but also their mothers’ Intelligence. Those who find a place for themselves in Orc Tribes usually hold fairly high positions.
What truly limits the Orc population growth is not their universally hostile environnt, but food.
As long as they have enough food, they’ll spread frantically like cancer cells on earth.
In summary, they are like human-shaped locusts, occasionally gathering together to trigger a more massive Orc disaster.
Compared to other places, the Orc disasters in West Hartland are more frequent because there are two vast Orc production zones called the Supre Wilderness and Eternal Wasteland.
