Although prophecies do not guarantee absolute certainty, they at least indicate a significant chance of success, which coincides with the Skambuhe National Master’s prophecy that their chances lie in the north, not the south.

However, compared to Skambuhe National Master’s vague prophecy, Sazass’s prophecy is perhaps too detailed.

Either this chief of the Necromancer System also specializes in the Prophecy field, possessing extraordinary prowess in this area.

Or he used the prophecy to speak his own mind, mixing much personal content in truth and fiction.

Either way, Khan Yamun does not care, because the plan is just a plan; how to execute it is his matter.

If a better opportunity arises, he certainly wouldn’t delay one bit because of a so-called prophecy.

Just as he didn’t easily spare the Kingdom of Ser because of the Skambuhe National Master’s prophecy, any probing must be conducted.

If the Kingdom of Ser couldn’t withstand his Vanguard Army, his main army would undoubtedly sweep in, vanquishing the Kingdom of Ser first.

One cannot completely believe or disbelieve in prophecies.

This is a fundantal truth known to those with so intelligence, and how could Khan Yamun not know?

In fact, when the benefits are large enough, even a nefarious state like the Kingdom of Ser can beco a reliable ally. Their eagerness to destroy the Laiserman Kingdom surpasses that of the Tukan People.

The following developnt of events proceeded entirely according to Sazass’s prophecy.

However, the Laiserman Witch is not a benevolent type either, and they evidently also foresaw the disaster of this war.

When the Tukan Elite Cavalry bypassed the Sunrise Mountain Range to assault the highlands, they found that the only resistance they faced were small berserker squads ant to hold them, while the Laiserman citizens had long moved across the Lake Asen into the Great Valley with their families.

No rafts or boats could be found on the east shore of Lake Asen to cross over.

The Tukan Army took only three days to seize Laiserman Fortress and completely destroy it.

However, under the cooperation of Laiserman Witches, the orderly retreat of the Laiserman Berserkers suffered only minimal casualties.

The Laiserman Kingdom resorted to this purely out of helplessness.

The Tukan Army ca roaring in with hundreds of thousands, and with monster auxiliaries accompanying them along the way, their numbers likely rivaled the entire population of the Laiserman Kingdom.

anwhile, the Kingdom of Ser was watching nacingly from the sidelines.

Nominally, they were feigning attacks to help the Tukan Army look for offensive opportunities.

In reality, the Kingdom of Ser dispatched all their elites: the Gryphon Legion, the Skeleton Legion, the Monster Legion, and a large number of Transcendent Red Robe Mages, all gathered on the south shore of Mosantiel Lake.

If the Laiserman Kingdom let down their guard even slightly, they would co out in full force, swallowing up the Laiserman Kingdom in one fell swoop.

Rather than surrendering their land to Ser, the Laiserman Kingdom would rather hand it over to the Tukan Army.

The reason remains the sa.

No matter how strong the Tukan Army is, they are, after all, powerful outsiders just passing through. They will only sweep through here temporarily. The Laiserman Kingdom is rely a stepping stone for them to attack the Felen Continent; whether they advance or retreat, they will not linger on this land.

As long as they preserve their people and wealth, the destruction brought by the Tukan Army is relatively limited, and they can’t take the land with them.

The Kingdom of Ser is different; they are local bullies, having been eyeing the Laiserman Kingdom for a long ti.

If the land of the Laiserman Kingdom falls into their hands, they would quickly establish themselves here, making it incredibly difficult to reclaim it.

As for whether the Tukan Army will hand over the Laiserman Kingdom’s land to the Kingdom of Ser, this is only a consideration when the Tukan Army appears to falter.

While their offensive is going strong, it’s not a consideration at all.

Because this is their retreat path, how could they possibly trust outsiders to guard it?

This tactical retreat by the Laiserman Kingdom has won them so strategic maneuvering space. The Witches and Berserkers who withdrew from Laiserman Fortress, along with a large militia of Laiserman citizens, are now ready on the western shore of Lake Asen, thwarting plans to freeze the lake and launch a rapid assault.

Lake surfaces can freeze and can be destroyed.

This tactic works well in unexpected situations, but if the opponent is prepared, a slight misstep can lead to their elites being trapped and killed in the lake waters.

The most important thing is, the weather isn’t cold enough yet.

The ice forming now isn’t even considered thin ice, and using magic to create a frozen passage for tens of thousands of Tukan Cavalry is challenging with human power alone, unless the Winter Goddess Olyure descends with her Divine Nature Incantation.

The war has been forcibly brought into overti.

Requests for aid have been sent to other countries within the Felen Continent.

However, the requests weren’t issued by the Laiserman Kingdom, but by Cesk’s council.

The nature of the Cesk Kingdom is sowhat similar to the Sambiyan Kingdom, also being a wealthy oligarchic state, with the rchants Council composed of wealthy rchants and farrs governing the cities.

However, unlike the Sambiyan rchants, who do whatever it takes for wealth, their reputation isn’t as tainted.

But their wealth surpasses that of Sambia, as they are backed by the Golden Road.

This road, as its na suggests, flows with gold because it’s the sole trade route connecting the Felen Continent to the Kartu Continent, with countless Kartu specialties transported along it, such as silk as smooth and supple as a maiden’s skin, exquisitely crafted ceramics like works of art, and sweet, delicious tea, among others.
