Chapter 1612: Chapter 803: Legendary Spell (Part 3)

After all, they were in a state of conflict with the disguised Red Robe Mages; even if they wanted to escape, the other side had to let go.

Those cunning Red Robe Mages were well aware of the personalities of these Elental Lords; even if it ant causing trouble for them, they wouldn’t easily let the Laiserman Witches return.

Earlier, with the constraint of the Fire Elental Monarch, Gaven and his group were left helpless against the Water Elental Monarch. Now, facing a Fire Elental Monarch alone, Gaven racked his brains but couldn’t think of any strategy or thod to restrain him.

In the face of absolute power, other strategies and tactics are useless; overbearing is the best strategy.

“Retreat! Or fight.” The mysterious Great Druid who had previously delivered a deadly blow to the Water Elental Monarch appeared once more, hovering directly in front of the Fire Elental Monarch.

Their body types were completely out of proportion, but the aura emanating from him was just as strong as that of the Fire Elental Monarch. The terrifying and intense magic power hovered around him.

When the other party first struck, Gaven guessed his identity; it was the reinforcent called by Druid Hanso, the Great Druid Nateria.

This Great Druid has a rather aloof personality; even agreeing to Hanso’s request, willing to send troops to aid the City of Usr and arriving early, he doesn’t want to directly contact Gaven and his group, nor follow their arrangent.

For such an ally with too many uncertainties, Gaven instinctively dislikes them.

So when calculating strength and arranging plans, he simply did not consider him.

Unexpectedly, this idle piece off the chessboard repeatedly played a crucial role at critical monts.

This ti was no exception; the fla of the Fire Elental Monarch involuntarily flickered a few tis, then he muttered, “You helped eliminate my nesis earlier, for which I owe you. Today, I’ll do you a favor, let’s call it even, please open the door.”

He spoke grandly, but everyone knew that the Fire Elental Monarch was actually wary of this powerful Great Druid’s legendary magic; being hit by the Fist of Ice Capture on his body would be quite unpleasant.

Not to ntion, other Legendary Spellcasters had already heard the news and were rushing over.

“Alright.” True to his usual deanor, Great Druid Nateria remained indifferent; he pointed his magic wand, and an Elental Door opened once more above the Fire Elental Monarch’s head.

This ti, the Fire Elental Monarch did not resist and allowed himself to be sucked away by the pull of the Elental Door.

Seeing this troubleso character sent away, everyone present involuntarily breathed a sigh of relief. The remaining Fire Elental Elders were not as difficult, no longer needing Nateria to act. Those Laiserman Witches could disperse them all back, without the Fire Elental Monarch leading them, they offered no resistance.

“Many thanks for the Great Druid’s assistance; if it weren’t for you, the consequences would be unthinkable.” Gaven hurried forward to offer thanks.

Nateria replied coldly, “I didn’t act for you, but for the natural life of the Great Valley. Don’t waste ti, hurry up with the aftermath and regroup your forces; our task is only half complete. I’ll be waiting for you in Laisel Forest.”

After speaking, he didn’t wait to see if Gaven understood him and imdiately activated a Teleportation Spell and vanished.

Facing such a high intelligence and low emotional intelligence top-tier figure, Gaven felt a bit of a headache as he rubbed his temples; in the future developnt of the Great Valley, he would inevitably deal with him. Such existences are the hardest to fathom and the most stubborn; if he disagrees with sothing, no matter how reasonable you are, he won’t agree.

Yet, the opponent’s strength is clearly displayed here; a Great Druid capable of using legendary spells is an indispensable presence in any country, to be revered, definitely not offended.

As for the task that the other ntioned being only half complete, it naturally refers to The Lord of Withering.

The prior Demon Tree Demon Army that attacked the City of Usr was rely a contingent dispatched by The Lord of Withering.

As for The Lord of Withering himself, he hadn’t left Laisel Forest at all and was there continuously expanding territory and corrupting the forest.

Even though Khan Yamun reached an agreent with him, The Lord of Withering is not foolish, knowing where his true advantage lies; there’s no way he’d easily leave his lair, sending out a troop to test the waters is the best tactic.

If the dispatched army was unstoppable, capturing the City of Usr outright,

The Lord of Withering would certainly take the opportunity to charge out of Laisel Forest and sweep through the entire Great Valley.

But once frustrated, he’d shrink back into the forest, continue managing his lair, waiting for a better opportunity.

Nateria and the other Great Druids of the Great Valley absolutely cannot tolerate The Lord of Withering rising here, poisoning the forest, and want to seize the chance to eradicate him completely.

For both public and private reasons, Gaven would continue this battle.

When the last Demon Tree was eliminated, the City of Usr experienced a torrential downpour, cooling down the burning city.

Of course, it wasn’t Heaven taking pity on this city, shedding tears for it, instead, it was the Druids’ manipulation of weather at play.

“The Commander is here, Commander Gaven is here.”

“Thanks to Commander, we’re grateful you had our families all evacuated; otherwise, even if they didn’t beco food for those terrifying monsters, they would already be charred corpses in a sea of fire. You are our entire family’s, no, you are our city’s benefactor.”

“We were wrong, we initially doubted Commander, thinking you harbored ulterior motives; now looking back, it was purely our shallowness. Please, Commander, punish us.”

“Long live the Commander.”

“Long live the Commander.”

As Gaven just appeared in the dock area, those crowds still gathered there, who hadn’t had the chance to evacuate the citizens of the City of Usr, were full of gratitude towards him.

The enemy in the previous battle was truly unordinary; whether it’s the Demon Trees or the Elental Monarchs, even from several kiloters away, they could clearly see their figures.

Especially when the Water Elental Army ca ashore, the overwhelming waves many of them experienced firsthand.

Their grievances against Gaven were as heavy as their current gratitude; in the face of such an army, these ordinary people were like ants, having no power to resist. Evacuating beforehand was their best choice.
