Chapter 1727: Chapter 842: Fell Into the Trap

All divine powers can be infused into mundane objects, transforming them into unique divine power presences.
Just because of the various traits of divine powers, the things that bear them differ.

The souls they murder all turn into their nourishnt, devoured by them, making them even stronger.
Once the souls are devoured and consud, naturally they can’t be resurrected.
This is both their greatest advantage and their greatest disadvantage.
If they do not murder and devour other souls for a long period, they will rapidly decline, eventually murdering and consuming themselves.
In other words, they are consumable items, able only to survive for up to twenty-four hours without murdering new life.
Even the God of Murder can’t store them, only use them as they are made.
At this point, Khan Yan sacrifices a batch of Spirits of Slaughter; the purpose is clear.
It’s targeted at the soul battle of the Totem Dreamscape.
Once those Totem Souls are murdered by these Spirits of Slaughter, they will beco nourishnt, leaving no chance for the Totem Dreamscape to rescue them.
“Water Elental army, launch!”
With a command from the Water Spirit Witch, a series of giant holes silently appeared in the solid ice layer, and countless water elents erged from beneath like streams, wildly casting ice magic—Ice Bullet, Ice Cone, Snowstorm Burst, Ice Storm, and more—against the surrounding scattered slave soldiers.
If those monster slave soldiers frantically fled near these water elents, they would be directly overwheld and subrged by the rising water elents, like insects trapped in amber.
Water elents appear to be composed of water, but actually, their internal structure is incredibly dense, like glue, without stickiness; yet once trapped inside, it’s extrely hard to break free.
Quickly they suffocate, growing weaker as ti goes on, until they drown alive.
Over by Lake Asen, Gaven and the others also prepared a reserve water elental army.
This elental army boasts the fine trait of being unconcerned with consumption, able to be summoned anew even if completely eradicated, ideally used in places closer to the army.
The Laiserman Witch is a top expert at using elental armies; historically, they have repeatedly used these summoned armies against Ser, forcing them to retreat their attacks.
This ti is no exception; if the Tukan People plan to sacrifice on the shores of Lake Asen, the Water Spirit Witch will lead this army to stir up monstrous waves to rush ashore and rescue the Laiserman captives.
What they didn’t expect was that the Tukan People deployed deception tactics, misleading them, and before they even reacted, those Laiserman captives were murdered and sacrificed.

The Water Spirit Witch shouted again, initiating the second wave of attacks.
Mist suddenly arose from the surface of Lake Asen, spreading over the ice with terrifying speed, quickly enveloping the area in fog.
A seemingly illusory monstrous wave, twenty ters high, surged forward, with the Water Spirit Witch, now incarnated as a Water Spirit Giant, floating atop the wave.
This gentle as water witch was thoroughly angered, pointing towards the direction of the Tukan Army and commanded, “Kill them all!”
Upon close inspection, one would find that the wave wasn’t a simple wave, but contained countless aquatic totems and Laiserman ancestral spirits rushing within.
“Shadow Fall!”
Instead of Khan Yan and his Slaughter Army responding to the Water Spirit Witch, it was a group of Black Robe Witches erging from the shadows.
Frightening shadows closely followed them, as if possessing their own spirituality, wildly swirling in the air, eagerly diving into the bodies of murdered Laiserman captives and slave soldiers.
