Farming in a Parallel World and Becoming a God Chapter 1822 - Capítulo 1822: 873: Netherworld Flyer3
Capítulo 1822: Chapter 873: Netherworld Flyer_3
This situation is not unique to the Nesserel Empire. Throughout history, in those powerful magic civilizations, the internal exchange of magical knowledge was very open, which is the most basic foundation for the flourishing of magic.
As the two people took their seats, the mouth of the Skull-Headed Flyer closed once again, and a vast amount of black mist enveloped it, covering most of the gaps, leaving only two hollow eyes, with Gaven and Philancy sitting on the left and right within it.
At Philancy’s command, the Skull-Headed Flyer shot out like a bolt, with incredible speed, trailing a long black mist, which was negative energy unable to keep up, looking like a black tail fla.
Skull-Headed Flyer
Life Force: 258 (21D12 126)
Body Type: Large
Speed: Flying 30 km/h (fast 90 km/h, extre speed 150 km/h)
Attributes: Strength 10, Dexterity 23, Constitution 22, Intelligence -, Perception 10, Charisma 8
Special Ability: Undead Creature Traits, Cold Immunity, Halved slashing and piercing damage, Dark Vision, Negative Energy Regeneration (Transcendent Physique bonus), Shadow Coordinate, Shadow Rebirth, Mobility Acceleration (Extraordinary Agility bonus, movent speed increases by 6 km/h), Undead Manipulation Blessing, Enfeebling Ray.
Transford into a Skull Giant Flyer, there’s not much change in abilities, just an exchange of strength and agility, and the mode of movent changed from walking to flying. The flight speed is astonishingly on par with the Berserk Wind.
Originally, Gaven thought of using the Berserk Wind as Philancy’s unique mount, but now it is no longer needed.
Additionally, it gained a spell-like attack called Enfeebling Ray.
Enfeebling Ray (Special Ability) — Each round, the skull can shoot an Enfeebling Ray, with a range of Life Dice/ters (21 ters). Once hit by the spell, if the target passes the Fortitude save, they fall into a fatigued state, otherwise, they fall into an exhausted state. If hit by the Enfeebling Ray twice, they will directly enter a fatigued state, lasting for (each Life Dice/second 10).
This ability is very similar to the third-level spell Enfeebling Ray, only transford from a sustained spell into a pure ray-type spell.
As for the exhausted and fatigued states, they are very easy to understand.
Exhausted ans a creature has beco weary; in this state, they cannot perform at maximum speed and their strength is sowhat diminished.
Fatigue is a more severe state of exhaustion, where all physical indices are at their limits, only able to barely maintain flight or walking, unable to sprint or fly swiftly.
Take the Skull-Headed Flyer for instance, if it enters an exhausted state, its maximum flight speed is only 90 kiloters.
If it enters a fatigued state, it can only fly at a minimum of 30 kiloters per hour.
Of course, as an undead creature, the Skull-Headed Flyer is a special chanism; as long as there is sufficient power, it won’t beco exhausted or fatigued, as these are undead traits.
It’s not just it; those elental creatures, construct creatures, awakened plants, etc., won’t fall into these two states, and it is the organic creatures that are most susceptible.
Despite its seemingly narrow application and lack of actual lethality, in special aerial battle scenarios, it is indeed very useful.
For instance, against Tukan Eagle Knights, if those prairie giant eagles were to be hit, their flight speed would be significantly reduced in a short ti, potentially leading to a crash, as they carry knights and the consequences are more severe when they beco fatigued.
An even more unexpected scenario appeared, where the Jin Baiwan, whom Gaven assigned to Philancy, started revolving around the Skull-Headed Flyer.
Not on the left, nor the right, but around it.
To be more precise, the Skull Flyer entered the eye of the Berserk Wind.
Even Daphne and Grace were stunned, and even the usually imaginative Gaven was a bit dumbfounded.
This thod of combined use is truly ingenious.
Both complent each other, no, it should be said, all three, with a spellcaster seated in the Skull-Headed Flyer!
The Berserk Wind provides strong lee support, both in the air and on the ground.
The Skull-Headed Flyer offers mid-range and short-range auxiliary support; once enemies are weakened and fatigued, it’s the ti they will be shredded by the Berserk Wind. Its other ability is indispensable—shadow concealnt.
All undead have a low-light trait, even the Berserk Wind is not an exception. Though the blazing sun won’t directly destroy it, it severely restricts its operational capabilities during the day.
Directly connected to the Weizemay Manor, the Skull-Headed Flyer can form a ten-ter radius of black mist at any ti, providing concealnt and protection for the Berserk Wind, allowing it to operate during the day without any hindrance.
The spellcaster aboard the Skull-Headed Flyer need not be elaborated upon; she can cast spells without interference, and the level of combat power achievable depends on the seated one’s capability.
For soone like Philancy, destroying an army or a small city is a trivial matter.
“The teacher’s capabilities are far beyond ours, and the ingenuity is also superior to ours.”
“We have so similar research and designs. If the teacher has ti, we would like to ask for guidance to see if there is room for improvent.”
When the new Skull-Headed Flyer landed again, Daphne and Grace were genuinely appreciative.
If before they called Philancy ‘teacher’ out of Gaven’s influence, now they are entirely convinced.
This Legendary Arcanist possesses both power and creativity; with a simple modification, she elevated their prideful work to a whole new level.
