Before Khan Yan could approach the convoy, three figures had already flown up to et him, one man and two won.
Apart from the woman who seed as enigmatic as mist, the other two were all too familiar to Khan Yan; they had clashed repeatedly over the past half month, and he had suffered greatly at their hands.
The man was a young commander nad Gaven from the western coast of the Sea of Fallen Stars, and the woman was the Earth Spirit Witch, one of the nine Haslan Witches.
The two won flanked Khan Yan in a pincer formation, their strong magic power latent but unforthcoming, while Gaven kept his distance in the rear.
In his fury, Khan Yan did not imdiately launch an attack but instead scrutinized the newly erged strong individual with caution and remained vigilant to the movents around him.
Judging by their formation, it seed they had anticipated his pursuit; since a Haslan Witch was present, it ant others weren’t far off.
Both sides had clashed multiple tis, knowing each other’s capabilities too well; to contend with him would require deploying at least four Haslan Witches.
Now, since only two appeared, either they had great confidence in the newly erged legendary combatant, or they had backup, lurking in the shadows, ready to deliver a fatal blow.
Khan Yan coldly looked at Gaven and said, "Those Shadow Assassins from earlier, did you send them?"
"Is Khan satisfied with this little gift?" Gaven did not deny it.
Earlier, when infiltrating the Tukan Army, it was indeed Shadow Wing, sent by Gaven, that attempted to stir chaos with camp uproar, both to buy ti and to divert attention, allowing the War Chariot Legion to overtake the Tukan Army and set up a new defense line ahead, delaying their progress.
The Terror Demons served as their leverage tool.
"You’ve indeed given a great gift, now I return it tenfold." Khan Yan’s tone was calm, but everyone present could feel the simring anger and sincerity within.
"No need for such courtesy, Khan." Gaven seemingly did not notice Khan Yan’s threat, kindly reminding him, "If I were Khan, I wouldn’t leave my army easily. Listen, boom..."
With Gaven’s words, a deafening roar and trembling earth ca from the direction of Twin Star Town, followed by indistinct cries of battle.
"Lure the tiger away from the mountain!" Khan Yan’s expression changed drastically, and without a second thought, he turned and flew towards Twin Star Town.
Khan Yan was not unwilling to use the Teleportation Spell, but he was unable to. Such was the cost of unlimited mastery over the Power of Slaughter.
With the accumulation of the Power of Slaughter, the world’s restriction and rejection of him grew stronger. After the battle at Lake Asen, those constraints and repulsions reached an unprecedented peak.
He had an ominous feeling that using the Teleportation Spell now would not only fail to reach his destination but could even result in being expelled from the Material Plane by the Plane Power, sent to the Outer Plane he was ant for, with no return.
These limitations did not apply to him alone, but to all the Divine Residence.
It was a ans to protect the Material Plane, limiting the arrival of destructive forces to this world, preventing devastating impacts.
Neither Philancy nor the Earth Spirit Witch attempted to stop Khan Yan, for provoking him further might lead him to vent his wrath on the War Chariot Legion, which would be a grave loss; with just the two of them, they couldn’t fully restrain this God Child of Slaughter.
Reaching maximum speed, Khan Yan emitted a terrifying sharp whistle, covering a dozen kiloters in just five minutes, yet the chaotic state of Twin Star Town still pierced him with grief.
The town was plagued with floods, fires, earthquakes, and frost, with four Elental Armies still rampaging. However, they were led not by four Elental Lords but by a group of Elental Elders; for even the Haslan Witches, summoning Elental Lords at will was impossible.
Especially after leaving the Laiserman Kingdom, the difficulty of summoning would drastically increase, as the Totem Dreamscape could no longer provide them with additional support.
To summon an Elental Lord outside the Laiserman Kingdom, additional conditions were necessary, such as how the Red Feather Witch managed to summon the Fire Elental Monarch to the City of Usr by setting it ablaze; replacing the city with a volcanic Magma Pool could serve as well.
This situation was not unique to the Haslan Witches but was the sa for all Laiserman Witches.
Under equal levels, within the Laiserman Kingdom, the Laiserman Witches held a substantial advantage over ordinary spellcasters, with at least one professional level difference, if not more.
But once they left the Laiserman Kingdom, the situation would completely reverse.
This was the price they paid for their deep bond with that land.
This was also why the Laiserman Witches rarely ventured beyond Laiserman Kingdom land.
Even so, the destructive power of four Elental Armies against ordinary armies should not be underestimated.
The Skambuhe National Master led the Killing Vajra Lamas in a desperate struggle, but without the support of his Slaughter Divine Power, their disadvantage was evident.
