If Khan Yamun did not take the initiative to lead the Slaughter Army into the Gunboard Chess Bastion, she would have rely used the Divine Country Projection to pin him down, preventing him from recklessly attacking Tavelan, rather than, as now, isolating Khan Yamun from his ground forces and opening a second battlefield.

With the fervent cheers of countless residents of Tavelan, not only did the light emitting from the Gunboard Chess Bastion beco more brilliant, but even the weapons and armor of those petitioners were now glowing with a bright light, seeming to beco sharper and more sturdy.

This was not an illusion; it was truly happening.

The war occurring at the Gunboard Chess Bastion was not completely detached from Tavelan but was closely connected.

Compared to the high morale in Tavelan City, the Tukan outside the city were in a complete ss, at a loss for what to do.

The three major figures under Khan Yamun’s command gathered together imdiately.

"State Preceptor, what should we do now?" The question ca from General Batumihe.

He was the top general under Khan Yamun, acting as the vanguard for Khan Yamun, a position of trust and honor. When Khan Yamun could no longer issue orders to the Tukan Army, he would naturally assu command of the Tukan Army, as at least most of the Tukan People recognized his status and obeyed his orders.

Despite his coarse appearance, he did not assert this authority, but respectfully inquired of the Skambuhe National Master, whose influence among the Tukan was also not to be underestimated, as those Killing Vajra Lamas were one of the main spellcasters of the Tukan Army.

"This matter should not be addressed to , but rather to Archbishop Umranth, as he is now the Khan’s High Priest and knows the Deities of Felen best, understanding what’s most beneficial for the Khan," responded the Skambuhe National Master, his Buddha-like figure smiling as usual.

However, any discerning person could see that there was not a hint of real amusent in his smile, and hidden within his words were sharp barbs aid directly at the High Priest Umranth.

This master of the Tower of Swift Death, the forr archbishop of the God of Murder Bal, suddenly joined Khan Yamun’s ranks in the City of Tel.

In less than five days, his authority in the Tukan Army had reached unprecedented peaks, subtly overshadowing the combined influence of the Skambuhe National Master and General Batumihe, becoming the foremost beneath Khan Yamun.

This was because the ability of Khan Yamun to convert large numbers of undead was brought by him.

He enabled Khan Yamun to connect with the forr God of Murder, Bal, and begin inheriting Bal’s legacy, whether secular, faith-based, or divine power.

In other words, when Khan Yamun was trapped, only he could command the vast Undead Army outside.

Umranth was a tall man wearing a purple sacrificial robe, and even without outsiders present, he wore a hooded veil that obscured his true face, exuding an aura of coldness and terror, epitomizing the image of a cultist.

His voice was deep and hoarse, his speech exceedingly slow, giving the impression that each word was well-thought-out, "Ascension is inherently a path fraught with thorns, especially my lord’s faith, which is shunned and sched against by the hypocrites.

Their intervention was expected, but the audacity of the Lady Strategy in deploying her own divine country was unexpected.

This is both a crisis and an opportunity.

If we can take the chance to destroy a divine country and murder a true god,

with this honor, my lord could rebuild his divine country amid the Divine Country Ruins, once again becoming an unstoppable force among the gods."

"You’ve babbled on without saying much," the Skambuhe National Master couldn’t help but mock, "Anyone with eyes can see that the Celestial Khan doesn’t have a clear advantage right now. Without external intervention, even if he doesn’t fail, he will be trapped in the Goddess of Strategy’s divine country for a long ti, let alone destroy a divine country or murder a true god.

If this drags on, it will be detrintal not only to the Celestial Khan but also to us, as our food supplies are dwindling and the enemy allied army could land at any mont!"

Without any hesitation, Umranth replied, "The thod to help my lord is simple; we must also go to war. The more slaughter we create below, the greater support we give my lord. If we can break through Tavelan’s city defenses and slaughter the Goddess of Strategy’s believers within,

my lord will have the opportunity to breach their divine country’s defenses, slay the Goddess of Strategy, and complete the divine enthronent as planned."

This was exactly what you were waiting to say.

The Skambuhe National Master quickly said, "Since the Archbishop has agreed to execute the original plan, please continue to command the Undead Army to take the lead in attacking, creating an opportunity for us to break through the city defenses."

The Archbishop Umranth did not imdiately respond to the Skambuhe National Master but coldly stared at him and slowly said, "State Preceptor, our ultimate goals might diverge, but there is one thing we agree on.

That is that we both don’t want my lord to co to harm, and we hope he becos stronger, joining the ranks of the gods.

Therefore, I propose that until my lord’s day arrives, we should work sincerely together to support my lord.

As for whether my lord chooses to inherit the murder god’s position or beco your Killing Buddha after becoming one of the gods, we can decide then."

This forr archbishop of the God of Slaughter remained active even after the forr God of Murder, Bal, had fallen, easily winning Khan Yamun’s trust and gaining control not by chance, but by his own unique abilities.

This is evident from the timing of his allegiance to Khan Yamun.

Khan Yamun, upon first entering the Eastern Desolation, at the height of his power, remained still.

Yet he erged just as the Tukan Army suffered severe setbacks and defeats around Lake Asen.

He naturally had calculations and reasons of his own.

This was not rely providing aid in tis of need but also because of the power struggles within the Tukan Army.
