Capítulo 2040: Chapter 946: Migration and Evangelism (Part 2)
They were eager to lead this team on the expedition, very much wanting to see the expressions on those ordinary humans’ faces when they saw this team.
“Let’s move out.” Gaven gave the second command.
Under the leadership of a Titan Apple Tree Treant, this Animated Apple Tree Troop embarked on the Path of Migration.
Those Natural Guardians quickly jumped onto the nearest Animated Apple Tree.
The speed at which the Animated Treants moved was not fast, only having two modes: slow walk and fast walk.
Slow walking was, on average, ten kiloters per hour, while fast walking was only twenty kiloters per hour.
After all, they are awakened plants, not known for their ability to move, especially these temporarily animated ones that spend most of their energy maintaining their balance. Moving too fast could easily cause them to fall down.
Gaven chose stability as the priority, opting for slow walking throughout the journey.
Animated plants also have their unique advantages.
They don’t know what fatigue is; as long as they are in an animated state, they can continue moving at a uniform speed.
All the animated apple trees can stay animated for twenty-four hours at a ti.
Which ans each activation can allow them to cover at least two hundred and forty kiloters.
The entire Grand Valley Trade Route is only about five hundred kiloters or so. They only needed two to three days to complete this special migration journey.
The Apple Tree Migration Team surged grandly out of Laisel Forest along the Withered Path, advancing toward the City of Usr.
The Withered Path was a forest road opened up during the Withering Ones’ army’s raid on the City of Usr.
After dealing with those withered trees, Gaven did not completely eradicate the withering power here but instead built a path through the forest on this foundation and nad it, using it to connect the inside and outside of Laisel Forest.
As for opening the latter half to directly link up with the Cesk Kingdom, that would depend on actual needs. For now, it was unnecessary; both sides were sparsely populated, and even if the path were opened, there would not be much trade opportunity, nor many people would use it.
“Commander, we only need to bring three Titan Apple Tree Treants and their three hundred Titan Apple Trees to the City of Usr. Why are we taking the entire team?
This round trip adds over a hundred kiloters, which will incur unnecessary costs.” Druid Hanso asked doubtfully.
Dividing the Apple Tree Migration Team into two, one part heading to the City of Usr and the other part setting off for Klonte first, would be the most cost-effective option.
In his views, Gaven was the most calculative person he’d ever t, being able to squeeze out oil from stones, and such a simple truth should be obvious to him.
Gaven did not directly answer Druid Hanso but instead asked a seemingly unrelated question, “Do you think three hundred animated apple trees or three thousand have more visual impact?”
Upon hearing this, Druid Hanso pondered and said, “Is the Commander planning to use this for future apple orchard promotion?”
“Exactly.” Gaven didn’t keep him guessing any longer and smiled, “Apples are economic crops; just planting them isn’t enough. We need to find markets for them so that the farrs growing them can profit, thus maximizing their value.
The City of Usr will be one of our Golden Apple’s external sales outlets.
If we do the publicity well now, backed by the Sea of Fallen Stars, why worry about sales not open?
I guarantee that next autumn, a multitude of rchants will flood into the Great Valley searching for apple orchards to purchase our Golden Apples.
Never underestimate the keen business sense of those rchants.”
Druid Hanso agreed sincerely, “The Commander has always had foresight in his actions, beyond what I can achieve.”
Compared to the promotional effect, the cost of these hundred kiloters indeed was insignificant.
The Druids may not care about profit, but the farrs do, depending on this for livelihood, hoping to make their fortune.
Only when they derive substantial benefits will they be motivated to plant more Golden Apple Trees.
Otherwise, it won’t be long before the apple orchards beco neglected, reverting to wild apple forests.
“This is just the surface reason; there are deeper reasons. I wonder if the Great Druid is interested?” Gaven teased.
“The surface reasons are already so profound; wouldn’t the deeper ones be even more intricate?” Druid Hanso’s curiosity piqued, “If it’s convenient, please tell , Commander.”
“These Titan Apple Trees are blessed by Mother Earth, a precious gift bestowed upon this world by Mother of Apples, Stelina.
More people should see and understand this.” Gaven solemnly recited, “Praise the Mother of Apples; her grace today will nurture countless lives.”
Stelina, authorized by Mother Earth, allowed Gaven and his group to preach openly.
Nothing in this world gathers faith faster than an awe-inspiring impact.
And Gaven was well-practiced in this.
“Mother of Apples?” Druid Hanso was sowhat puzzled, hearing this na for the first ti.
“She is the Guardian of the Primordial Apple Tree, credited with nurturing the Golden Apple Garden, recognized by Mother Earth, making her responsible for overseeing apple tree planting.” Gaven diligently explained, “The Mother of Apples is with us.”
“The Mother of Apples is with us.” The Titan Apple Tree Treants responded gloomily to Gaven.
The surrounding Animated Apple Trees, though silent, their swaying branches hinted at their respect to the Mother of Apples ntioned by Gaven.
