"But let’s agree beforehand, along the way, they mustn’t interfere with too much. I need ample autonomy."
"Of course," Gaven readily agreed.
"Deal."
"Far East cuisine is also ready. Let’s begin. This first dish is called Spicy Tofu, an authentic Far East specialty. Let’s see if our top gourt from Felen can figure out what it’s made of!"
"Spicy, fragrant, and savory, all perfectly balanced. It contains minced at and scallions, but I’ve never seen this tofu as the main ingredient before. It has a slight bean fragrance. You wouldn’t tell this is made from beans, would you?"
"That’s right, it’s made from the soybeans we consu the most. Unfortunately, for the first brewing of unique condints like Chenchu and soy sauce from the Soaring Dragon, the preparation takes so long that it will take half a year to taste the genuine dish, making this not quite the authentic version yet."
"Not authentic and already so delicious? How delicious must it be in its original form?"
"We’ll need Mr. Valo to tell us through his travelogues. I hope that when Mr. Valo returns, he doesn’t just bring back the superficial aspects, but ideally the thods of creating those unique things."
After all, not everyone has the chance to visit the Soaring Dragon Dynasty. I hope that one day, all the people of Felen will be able to taste Soaring Dragon cuisine."
"I’ll do my best."
The two talked more and more like old friends, moving from fine wine and food to cultural geography, and then to political systems, discussing everything.
Valo was the most knowledgeable Felen person Gaven had t, bar none, even surpassing the Legendary Arcanist in this regard.
Philancy was a typical researcher, often cooped up in the lab doing research, with impeccable professional knowledge, but clearly lacking in other areas, many of which they aren’t even interested in, let alone knowledgeable about.
Valo’s extensive knowledge is different from those born from the explosion of information akin to keyboard warriors; most of what he spoke of he has personally experienced.
Thus, it is very profound.
This long conversation gave Gaven much to gain, sparks of inspiration frequently flashed, seemingly inspiring countless new comrcial ideas.
This is where he excels over Valo; he holds in his hands the manpower, material, and resources that even the Legendary Mage lacks.
Many things that are re curiosities to him beco, like the Styrak bush and Nimiel Village’s glass water lamps to Gaven, directly transford into comrcial intelligence, and put into action when opportunities arise.
Even just these pieces of comrcial intelligence make it worth Gaven’s while.
It’s just that in Felen, various comrcial laws aren’t fully established, as if it were on Earth, Valo would file lawsuits against Gaven over the comrcial ideas of the Styrak bush and glass water lamps, winning assets worth not millions, but tens of millions.
These two major industries, after fernting for half a year, have already flourished and expanded.
Not only did the Goblin Margins and Koer Kingdom start a trend of Styrak bush cultivation, but even parts of the Thacel Kingdom, Valley, Giant Dragon Coast, and Giant Plains have begun mass cultivation, not limited to humans, as the intelligent races and monster races have also started growing them sporadically.
The relationships among intelligent species have always been diverse, not just simple war and conflict.
For the most part, they focus on cooperation and trade, as even monsters are raised by their parents, experiencing cyclical life, also needing to recuperate and thrive.
The Styrak bush is resilient, adaptable to multiple environnts, can be repeatedly harvested, and grows quickly, while its unique taste makes terrestrial herbivores indifferent to them.
With such traits, even races not adept at farming can grow them on a large scale.
The favorable recovery prices offered by the Conqueror Caravan, combined with high-speed and efficient recovery, provide farrs with stable security.
This forms the foundational first link of an industrial chain, and when this link expands, fisheries can develop on a large scale, using plentiful catches to recycle funds from those farrs.
Breeding Boom Boom Arowana Shrimp and electric eels is one link among them, allowing biological cent and glass water lamps to be produced on a large scale.
The market feedback for biological cent has not been significant.
Because the quantities for sale externally are limited, most are consud within Gaven’s territory, as both the City of Faith and Battle Valley’s town constructions require large amounts of this building material.
Even if there is surplus in the future, this building material will not be sold in large quantities externally because it is a strategic material with miraculous effects both in territorial construction and on the battlefield.
For example, in a war where the enemy outnumbers you, having ample biological cent allows you to mix large amounts of sand and a small amount of water to quickly build a wall or fortress, potentially turning the tide of war.
For biological cent to reach every ho, all of Felen must begin mass farming of Boom Boom Arowana Shrimp.
Compared to the relatively unknown biological cent, glass water lamps are now very famous in the Northern Felen.
Especially as the City of Faith starts installing glass water lamps en masse, transforming itself into a City of No Night, its reputation and products spread far and wide with passing caravans.
This reputation peaked when Nimiel Village completed the Koer Royal Family’s order, turning the Purple Dragon Palace into the Palace of No Night.
