This force is so powerful, far beyond its own abilities, that in an instant, its Soul Fire was extinguished.
But in the next instant, it rekindled, the Soul Fire no longer the plague-like dark green, turning red instead, with red light flickering in its eyes, and its entire body crackling.
Slaughter Devouring Evolution.
Gaven unleashed a Divine Ability he had recently obtained upon it.
Such a highly uncertain ability certainly couldn’t be used on his own trusted followers first, but rather on these cannon fodder for a few experints.
Bang!
Before Gaven could let go, the Skeleton Soldier surprisingly exploded directly, its Skeleton Remains scattering everywhere.
The Power of Slaughter that Gaven had just infused, returned to him, bringing back sothing new.
Got it!
This Skeleton Soldier couldn’t handle it, couldn’t digest the good stuff, and actually burst.
Gaven didn’t mind, anyway, there were Skeleton Soldiers all over the mountains and plains. He glanced around, choosing the one that looked the most special.
Hmm, this one is taller than the other Skeleton Soldiers, its bones look sturdier, likely a warrior transford after death.
Sweeping it with the Dragon’s Sight Glasses, sure enough, it had three Life Dice, while other Skeleton Soldiers mostly had two or even one Life Dice.
The carrying capacity of the Power of Slaughter and other Divine Power should correlate with the Life Dice.
With the experience from last ti, Gaven was much more cautious this ti, injecting a little Power of Slaughter at a ti, waiting a few seconds each ti, and decisively stopping after injecting three points.
The Soul Fire of this Skeleton Soldier turned blood red again, its body uncontrollably trembling, the strands of blood-colored Soul Fire seeming ready to overflow.
After infusing the Power of Slaughter, Gaven decisively stepped back, observing coldly.
Slaughter Devouring Evolution is called evolution precisely because it is uncontrollable, even for its instigator, so now it’s just a matter of waiting.
Crack! Crack!
Accompanied by a crisp sound of bones cracking, the entire skeleton of this Skeleton Soldier underwent fine adjustnts, its body not becoming taller, but shorter, from barely reaching one ter seventy to barely one ter sixty.
Indeed, one ter seventy is considered tall among Skeleton Soldiers.
Because after losing flesh, both height and weight of skeletons are greatly reduced, height at least ten centiters shorter (not just due to the loss of flesh, but also adjustnts to the joints, as Skeleton Soldiers have no tendons, relying entirely on Soul Fire to connect and drive them), weight only about one-fifth.
So, it’s often shocking to witness a scene on the battlefield where an adult knocks a Skeleton Soldier flying.
Just now, Gaven went berserk, with one swing of the Overlord Spear knocking seven or eight Skeleton Soldiers flying, and it doesn’t seem too exaggerated thinking about it.
The body of the Skeleton Soldier infused with the Power of Slaughter beca smaller, but its bones noticeably more solid.
This Skeleton Soldier’s subsequent actions further confird Gaven’s feeling, it actually bent down among the Skeleton Remains, rummaging around, and upon finding suitable pieces, it inserted them onto its body.
The Soul Fire, dyed completely blood-red, seed to have its own Spirituality, swiftly enveloping the piece of bone, soon staining it blood-red.
During this process, that piece of bone automatically adjusted its size, fitting perfectly when installed onto the Skeleton Soldier, as if it had always been a part of it.
Crack! Crack! Crack!
The skeleton mouth of that Skeleton Soldier opened and closed, giving Gaven an impression of finding a treasure, rrily and excitedly laughing.
In its hand was a skeleton arm, holding a thick, long Bone Blade.
Not only was this skeleton arm sturdier and longer than the Skeleton Soldier’s original, but that Bone Blade was clearly several levels higher than the small broken knife it previously held.
This Skeleton Soldier forcefully pulled off its right arm, and put on the new one.
The blood-red Soul Fire spread, enveloping it, completing the bone replacent in a matter of seconds.
For Skeleton Soldiers and Zombies, the corpses are rely carriers, the truly crucial part is the Soul Fire within their bodies.
As long as the Soul Fire isn’t extinguished, even if they are torn into pieces, they can reassemble.
Once the Soul Fire extinguishes, despite seeming intact externally, they revert back to re Corpses.
Even under the adjustnt of Soul Fire, the arm was sowhat out of proportion with the original body of the Skeleton Soldier, noticeably sturdier, so its power should be stronger as well.
Indeed, sturdiness signifies greater Strength.
On the Plains of Bone, lacking everything but Corpses.
In a round of picking and choosing, this Skeleton Soldier quickly completed its own armant.
Upon returning to Gaven, this Skeleton Soldier had also replaced its left arm, proportioned to match the right arm, making it appear much like a Skeleton Gorilla, while it also held a Bone Shield ford by tightly collected ribs.
The closely packed ribs on its chest securely protected the Soul Fire within, with only strands of red light emanating.
Gaven could clearly feel a spiritual connection established with it, and with just a command, it would fight for him.
