This approach easily exposes oneself to the enemy.
Secondly, there exists supre combat power in this world, capable of penetrating deeply into enemy forces to perform decapitation tactics.
To the Skeleton Lord, the Dog Demon is an almost insurmountable existence.
He has nothing that can stop this Quasi-Legendary Devil’s underlings; the Skeleton Minotaurs can only briefly slow down its attack rhythm — with their own deaths.
Not to ntion those Skeleton Sorcerers who fled at the news; even he had to retreat three steps back, hiding deeper within the Skeleton Army to avoid being decapitated.
Without the remote fire support provided by the Skeleton Sorcerers, the charge of the Skeleton Minotaurs noticeably slowed down a lot.
The Skeleton Soldiers following the Skeleton Cavalry took the opportunity to surge up, similarly using the Skeleton Sea Tactics to overwhelm them.
The Skeleton Cavalry Lord took the opportunity to lead the Skeleton Cavalry out of battle, retreating to a distance to regroup and prepare to launch another charge against the enemy.
A cursory glance showed that the number of Skeleton Cavalry had nearly decreased by one-third compared to before deploying, mostly due to the efforts of the Skeleton Minotaurs.
From this, the power of this infantry-artillery coordination is evident.
Also, these Skeleton Cavaliers are mindless undead, fundantally without the concept of fear.
Otherwise, the recent losses would have been greater, perhaps with no chance to regroup.
After all, once the enemy forces beco overwhelming, our massive casualties could easily lead to the army’s rout and downfall.
Before the Skeleton Cavalry could launch another charge, countless frenzied barks erupted from afar, and an enormous hound appeared on the horizon.
Its height is no less than six ters, with shoulders towering, resembling a bear more than a hound, composed entirely of dense piles of corpses.
Even in the Skeleton-littered Plains of Bone, such a figure is sowhat horrific.
Corpse Hound.
The most powerful Undead Lord around here.
Isn’t he supposed to lack intelligence?
Why did he suddenly show up here?
Gaven didn’t have ti to think much, directly commanding the Skeleton Cavalry Lord: "Continue to attack, break through the Skeleton Minotaurs’ defensive line, leave this to ."
He then personally led three thousand Slaughter Guards forward to et them.
An exemplary commander never commits all his forces at once; always leaving a unit to respond to ergencies.
Now is the ergency.
The Corpse Hound wasn’t alone; a massive Skeleton Hound Legion was trailing behind him.
Not Corpse Hounds, but Skeleton Hounds ford from wolflike skeletons.
Yet, do not underestimate their combat capabilities; they inherit the agility of canines, with their unique pouncing bite technique being extraordinarily effective against Skeleton Undead.
When they collided with the Slaughter Skeleton Cavalry, they leaped directly onto the backs of the Skeleton Knights.
So were knocked flying by the hamrs of Skeleton Knights, others by the charges of Skeleton Warhorses.
Yet there were Skeleton Knights directly pulled off their mounts by Skeleton Hounds, with arms or legs forcibly torn off.
Though Soul Fire can piece bones together, in terms of sturdiness, it cannot compare with muscles and tendons.
On the battlefield, scenes of Skeleton Soldiers being bashed apart, with Soul Fire attempting to reassemble them are often witnessed.
In the clash between Slaughter Skeleton Cavalry and Skeleton Hounds, both sides had victories and losses.
However, when it ca to Slaughter Skeleton Soldiers against Skeleton Hounds, they were on the losing side.
Many Slaughter Skeleton Soldiers had their arms or legs torn off and carried away by Skeleton Hounds.
If just an arm is lost, Slaughter Skeleton Soldiers still have so combat capability.
But losing a leg severely reduces their combat effectiveness, unless they can find a new leg on the battlefield to attach.
The most prominent and fierce perforr was the Corpse Hound.
While charging, it emitted terrifying howls.
These howls were not physical but soul howls.
Many Slaughter Skeleton Cavalry at the forefront were trembling, their entire bodies rattling uncontrollably, like humans in extre fear, making it difficult to respond effectively.
Normally, undead should not be affected by such control spells, they are not organisms, thus immune to external hormonal influence.
Yet now, the situation was clearly abnormal.
The Corpse Hound’s fear power didn’t target the body but the soul, significantly suppressing the undead’s Soul Fire.
The Corpse Hound rely opened its mouth, stretched its head, and directly swallowed the leading Slaughter Skeleton Cavalry knight.
With a crunching sound of shifting bones, the Slaughter Skeleton erged on the Corpse Hound’s shoulder, the characteristic red Soul Fire not yet entirely extinguished.
As for the Skeleton Warhorse, the Corpse Hound dismissed it, simply swatting it into a pile of shattered bones and continued forward.
Gaven didn’t hastily engage the Corpse Hound, instead transforming into a Prairie Giant Eagle, circling the battlefield.
After confirming no more ambushes would co, he landed behind the Skeleton Hound Legion, aggressively transforming the Skeleton Hounds.
Let’s see whether your slaughter speed is faster or my transformation speed.
At this mont, Gaven realized, the Bottomless Abyss truly is the War God Faction’s paradise.
No need to worry about supplies, or sources of soldiers here.
Many attritional tactics that couldn’t be used elsewhere could be recklessly deployed here, completely unrestrained.
Thus, it’s another winning day for Lady Strategy, just lying in the God Kingdom, without doing anything, an ocean of faith willingly cos.
This attritional war didn’t last long; seeing Gaven on the scene, the Corpse Hound imdiately shifted direction, charging towards him nacingly.
Even from several hundred ters away, Gaven could clearly feel the intense malice emanating from the Corpse Hound towards him.
"You’ve co to voluntarily, saving the trouble of seeking you out."
Gaven transford again into the strongest land battle form — Berserk Blue Bear, fearlessly charging towards the Corpse Hound.
