The other two soul pools have unique troop types, which Gaven is incredibly familiar with, making him feel a sense of cordiality upon seeing them—Shadows.
His Ghost Legion relies on their high-tier version, the True Wraith, as the main force.
He naturally understands the potential of this unique undead.
However, here in the Bottomless Abyss, these Shadows have no chance to devour the souls of their original masters to transform into True Wraiths, much less quickly grow into Nightshadows.
This does not an that these undead are entirely useless.
Their strength drain attack is a terrifying negative energy attack against flesh and blood creatures, causing not only a loss of life force but also producing a special weakening effect.
In the face of the undead, it becos a healing thod, helping them recover life force.
Combined with their considerable stealth abilities and a certain degree of physical damage resistance, they beco excellent Undead Priests, greatly boosting the fighting strength of the entire legion when mixed with lee undead.
Gaven witnessed this firsthand when attacking those two soul pools.
Those weak Skeleton Soldiers beca incredibly resilient; as long as focus fire couldn’t take them down, a touch from the Specters would rejuvenate them.
This ability makes them a perfect match for the ferocious Skeleton Minotaurs; there’s no need for a one-to-one pairing with Shadows, as three or four Minotaurs per Shadow is sufficient, since those elites already possess the Slaughter Blessing, allowing them to regain so strength through slaughter.
With the new troop types acquired, Gaven couldn’t resist experinting to see the attributes of Elite Shadows and Super Shadows.
It turns out they unlocked two entirely new abilities.
The ability unlocked by the Elite Shadows is called Shadow Fusion, allowing a temporary fusion into the bodies of undead spirits, where during the fusion, it can use its negative energy absorption ability to restore the life force of the fused undead, matching the amount restored with the strength drain attack.
This ability cents their role as Undead Priests, allowing them to hide within the bodies of allies when threatened and enhance their allies’ combat strength.
The Super Shadow’s ability is an upgraded version of this, called Shadow Possession.
It can not only enter the bodies of allies but also attempt to possess enemies. Once successful, it temporarily controls the enemy.
Unless the Shadow leaves voluntarily or is exorcised, the only option left is to destroy the controlled soldier, but this won’t directly harm the Shadow, allowing it to imdiately control another soldier.
This powerful ability makes them a versatile troop type, combining control and healing, with battlefield influence no less than that of Super Skeleton Minotaurs.
Unfortunately, the bottleneck is always the Slaughter Divine Power; even for elites, the number is limited, not to ntion super troops.
Gaven made a new round of adjustnts to his troop composition based on the actual situation.
The Slaughter Skeleton Soldiers infused with full Life Dice were completely abandoned by Gaven.
Their strength is undeniable, but they consu too much Slaughter Divine Power, which would be better allocated to more Super Soldiers.
If there are no special circumstances, Gaven would only fully infuse the lords to enhance their combat abilities and allocate the remaining power as needed.
Gaven equipped seven Skeleton Minotaur Lords with two hundred Super Skeleton Minotaurs and a hundred Super Shadows each, while the rest were filled with Skeleton Soldiers and Shadows at a three-to-one ratio.
Then he reorganized four legions using two Skeleton Lords and two Shadow Lords as the foundation in a one-to-two manner.
One Skeleton Lord with two Skeleton Minotaur Lords, with the missing one temporarily filled by a Skeleton Cavalry Lord.
The two Shadow Lords naturally ca from the two shadow soul pools; they are undoubtedly True Wraiths, just a step away from Nightshadows, now bolstered by super troops, making them ferociously formidable.
What Gaven values most is their strong leadership brought by their high Charisma, commanding eight thousand within the territory and four thousand outside.
anwhile, the Skeleton Minotaur Lords command two thousand within the territory and only one thousand outside.
To facilitate mobilization, these legions are organized for external deploynt, allowing for easy replenishnt if the territory itself is ever attacked, provided there are available forces within the territory.

The territory awakened a brand new ability—Godhood Enhancent.
You can choose to enhance the territory in three ways.
One, evolve troop types; troops recruited in the territory will automatically evolve into Elite Troops (equivalent to one Slaughter Devouring Evolution). If the troop has already undergone one Godhood Enhancent, it will advance to Super Troops, not consuming Slaughter Divine Power, but if used for Slaughter Devouring Evolution, the post-evolution Slaughter Divine Power requirent will be the sa as normal evolution.
Two, enhance level; all types of new soldiers recruited in the territory will receive an additional level of enhancent.
Three, random summoning; the soul pool will have a chance to summon undead not fixed to the soul pool.
These are not cumulative choices; like attribute enhancents, you can only choose one of the three.
This left Gaven in a dilemma, unable to make a choice for a long ti.
Because all these abilities are incredibly practical.
The first one needs no explanation; the na "Elite" is well-deserved, directly tripling their combat capability.
