"How could the unification of the Plains of Bone be completed within months? Those Advanced Undead Lords are not re ornants." The King of the Jackalweres simply couldn’t believe what the Ghoul King was saying.
He was well-acquainted with the situation in the Plains of Bone, as it was a bargaining chip to balance against the Ghoul King.
With a suspicious expression, the King of the Jackalweres said, "Are you looking for an excuse to delay the deploynt of this year’s Ghoul Legion?"
He wasn’t directly extracting Soul Energy from the Ghoul King but was doing so through the Ghoul Legion.
Each year, the Ghoul King had to dispatch two to three million Ghoul Legion to serve under the King of the Jackalweres, facilitating his frequent wars, both against his two archenemies and expeditions to other Planes.
Yenogu’s greatest dream was to see his people—the Jackalweres flourish.
He envisioned a Main Material Plane ruled by his people, where Elves, Humans, Dwarves, and Demi-Humans were rely slaves and food for the Jackalweres.
However, he was self-aware enough to know that the Jackalweres of the Material Plane could never achieve such a feat; they were too greedy, and infighting was inevitable once they reached a certain level of developnt.
Therefore, the King of the Jackalweres strongly supported followers of other races, especially Humans. He once supported a mysterious family—the Mori Family—on a Plane, led by his greatest Human believer, who under his support once established the strongest Empire on that Plane.
But the Queen of the Succubi, Micanthix, also had a plan on that Plane, whereby a powerful Succubus infiltrated the Mori Family and manipulated them into infighting, ultimately leading to the collapse of the entire Empire, and the King of the Jackalweres’ plan crumbled to ashes.
From then on, the vengeful King of the Jackalweres viewed the Queen of the Succubi, Micanthix, as his greatest enemy, even ranking above the King of the Minotaurs, Baphont. He periodically dispatched troops to raid the territories of the Queen of the Succubi.
The Ghoul Legion was the main force in striking the Queen of the Succubi’s lands, as these Undead could resist the Succubi’s charm tactics.
If he were to dispatch a conventional Jackalwere Legion, not only would he gain nothing, but he would also have hordes of Jackalweres chard and turned to attack the Jackalweres’ lands in reverse.
The mont was fast approaching when the King of the Jackalweres would once again unleash a raid against the Queen of the Succubi this year; the Ghoul King should prepare this year’s expedition Ghoul Legion for him.
"How could I dare deceive the great master?" The Ghoul King said with a grievance, "Such a lie would be too clumsy, not standing up to any scrutiny. His Majesty only needs to move his eyes slightly, turning his gaze to the Plains of Bone, to discern the real situation there."
He was mimicking the persuasion techniques used by the Corpse King.
Without dwelling on the invader’s Strength, allowing the King of the Jackalweres to see for himself.
Compared to what outsiders said, these Demon Lords believed in what they saw themselves.
"I also doubt you dare deceive ." The King of the Jackalweres heavily slamd his Tri-headed Chain Mace, causing Yenogu’s Siege to thunder loudly.
"Stop moving."
"Everyone, stop moving."
Amidst the rising and falling howls of the Jackalweres and the sound of whipping, the massive moving fortress slowly halted.
When Yenogu’s Siege finally ca to a full stop, the King of the Jackalweres once again brandished his signature Divine Artifact, issuing new instructions, and a huge beam of light rose skyward from Yenogu’s Siege.
This beam of light was like an eye; wherever it scanned, images of that place imdiately appeared before everyone.
Its first focal point was revealed to be the Ghoul King’s Soulless Throne.
In front of it, the Soulless Throne harbored no secrets.
Though not the first ti the Ghoul King witnessed such a scene, he still felt uneasy in his heart.
"Your Soulless Throne really remains unchanged for a thousand years." The King of the Jackalweres knew no decorum, not only scouring his master’s domain but also evaluating it mockingly.
"For it is as unchanging as my loyalty to the master." The Ghoul King’s flattery resounded loudly. As long as he could draw the other into the fray, all notions of dignity were tossed aside.
The King of the Jackalweres sarcastically remarked without holding back: "You shouldn’t be called the Ghoul King, but the Clown King. I should let you serve in the fortress more often; your words are far more pleasing than those brainless wolf pups."
Unfazed, the Ghoul King replied, "I am rely stating facts."
The Ghoul King’s shaless deanor bored the King of the Jackalweres, prompting him to cease verbal bullying and focus on the Bone Plane.
To the Bone Plane, Yenogu’s Siege was akin to a fixed-point satellite, effortlessly scanning much of the Bone Plane, and with remarkable speed.
The area coverage of this aerial surveillance was substantial, with evident targeting capability.
The aiming standard was the Soul Fire.
The more densely concentrated the Soul Fire, the more glaring it appeared under the surveillance light of Yenogu’s Siege, allowing the King of the Jackalweres to easily locate the battlefield.
