This arched portal turned out to be a portal, only it was temporary.
After the giant sailboat passed through, this sea water archway collapsed with a boom, once again becoming part of the Sea of Curses.
"Captain of the Cursed Throat Fleet, Captain Malagath Unosh of the Reaper’s Vessel, greets you, great God of Ghouls." A pirate limped towards the Ghoul King, bowing with a fervor that could hardly be concealed, the fervor of a devout believer eting his True God.
This pirate’s appearance was quite terrifying, with no nose or ears left, only dark holes, and his right leg was reduced to a skeletal fra.

"Very good!" The Ghoul King nodded satisfied, stepping into the secret space.
This secret space was very small, barely enough for the Ghoul King to hunch down and enter, inside only a few items were placed, each imbued with strong magic. If they were touched by anyone, he would imdiately sense it, then destroy them entirely.
This was his secret storage, used to store so secret items he didn’t want the King of the Jackalweres to know about.
