271: Chapter 218 Three Choices (End of This Volu)_1 271: Chapter 218 Three Choices (End of This Volu)_1 The concepts still instilled were those of Gnoll collectivism, though this collectivism had morphed slightly, no longer focused on individual tribes or Gnolls, but centered around Gaven as the core leader of Dragon Oak Territory.

Considering the Gnolls’ short growth period and rapid reproduction, becoming generalists wasn’t suitable; specialization was the better fit for them.

Therefore, after completing the most basic three-month enlightennt education, the educational path would be divided according to the attributes they demonstrated.

The main focus was on six disciplines: managent, construction, demolition, trap-setting, mining, and alchemy.

These six disciplines also reflected Gaven’s intended role for the Gnolls within his territory: to specialize in engineering projects.

As for frontal combat and agriculture,

after witnessing the strength of the Hobgoblin Wolf Cavalry, the plan for a primary combat legion of Gnolls had been temporarily shelved.

Compared to these main fighting races, even with Dragonization, Gnolls had no real advantage in this area.

The only thing abandoned was the plan for the primary combat legion; the auxiliary engineering legion’s plan was still progressing thodically, with the construction process serving as the training for the engineering legion.

In digging tunnels, paving roads, and building bridges, Gnolls possessed absolute advantages unseen in other races.

Aside from the Fae Race, which had shown exceptional talent in agriculture, Gaven had new ideas brewing and decided not to waste any more ti on this aspect with the Gnolls.

After two ten-day sessions of interaction and assessnt, these wilderness Gnolls far exceeded Gaven’s expectations; they weren’t just high in Perception and Charisma, but also in Intelligence, Perception, and Charisma.

Their growth and learning speed were far beyond imagination.

In the ti Gaven stayed there, they had more than doubled in size, and so with innate Perception attributes over 13 had begun to try making Tremor Bombs, based on rudintary alchemical knowledge.

Although the Tremor Bombs they created were only the size of quail eggs and more unstable, often exploding during the making process,

they at least demonstrated unprecedented talent in this area.

Perhaps Gaven wouldn’t need to wait five years, or even two or three years; perhaps just a year and a half would be enough for them to master their own strength and to begin real attempts.

Gaven hurriedly called over the oldest Gnoll Alchemist from the Alchemical Laboratory, having him specifically teach this discipline.

The Tremor Bomb was one of the most important military materials in Dragon Oak Territory, without equal.

No matter how much was stockpiled, it could never be too much.

Alchemist was the first career choice for these wilderness Gnolls.

Even if they all took up this profession, Gaven wouldn’t mind them being specialized; on the contrary, he would be delighted beyond asure.

Gaven had already experienced the teaching ability of that old Gnoll Alchemist, who was rambling and roundabout; a single bomb discussion could lead to bloodlines, all the way to the origins of Giant Dragons, while aspects like elent application and raw material ratios were touched upon briefly and in a cursory manner.

The old Gnoll Alchemist’s process of mixing Tremor Bombs was similar, with auxiliary alchemical materials often grabbed haphazardly, not asured to the gram and with the order and quantity of ingredients different every ti.

And yet, in such a manner, the Tremor Bombs were often successfully created by him.

The whole process was fantastical, quintessentially Gnoll.

Even more fantastical and quintessentially Gnoll was the fact that these wilderness Gnolls actually understood and significantly improved their success rate in mixing.

Gaven, skeptical, asked the young wilderness Gnolls to carry out experints thodically after sending the old Gnoll Alchemist away, in an attempt to create a detailed recipe for the Tremor Bomb to further stabilize its power and success rate.

The result was surprising to him.

They managed to co up with it, but every young wilderness Gnoll capable of mixing the Tremor Bomb had a different recipe.

When they strictly followed their own recipes, the stability and success rate of the resulting Tremor Bombs didn’t increase but decreased significantly.

When they discarded their recipes and went by feel, everything imdiately returned to normal.

Gaven could only sigh and for the ti being gave up on the idea of standardization.

This Tremor Bomb likely involved Chaos Theory, containing unstable elents that required the Gnolls’ own magic perception to neutralize and balance.

Moreover, these young wilderness Gnolls, even with their intelligence, were just newly matured beings with too little learning.

Real improvent not only required them to fully grasp the Gnolls’ innate talent but also required sufficient practical experience and extensive theoretical experience in human alchemy, which would be Gaven’s next focus for collection.

Beyond teaching the young wilderness Gnolls, in his spare ti, Gaven spent most of his ti with Lord Virginia; aside from official affairs, the thing they did most was engage in intimate activities between a man and a woman.

Over this period, they had discovered new variations; besides physical union, they added soul blending, a dual sublimation.

Euphemistically, it was called knowledge transfer.

Lately, Lord Virginia had been unreservedly passing on her Mage knowledge to Gaven.

Gaven, in turn, shared all his close combat skills with Lord Virginia.

Be it knowledge or skills, nobody would have too much.

Especially when there’s a convenient way to learn quickly.

Even if it’s not used imdiately, knowing the thods to counter such opponents in the future is beneficial.
