493: Chapter 428 Golia Tribe Conference_1 493: Chapter 428 Golia Tribe Conference_1 Gaven had a little trick up his sleeve regarding this matter.

He could have ntioned it earlier, before this.

But at that ti, the Golia Tribe still harbored illusions about snoel and had not truly hit rock bottom; speaking out wouldn’t have maximized his benefits.

He had originally planned to wait until snoel crushed their hopes and then use this matter as a favor for the Golia Tribe.

Unexpectedly, snoel really had its unique aspects which caused his little plan to stall.

Luna said in surprise, “So you had this intention, but you’re oversimplifying the Corruption Power, especially since the erosion of living tissue and plants is not exactly the sa.

Plants have a certain neutralizing ability, even capable of utilizing a portion of the corruption for themselves.

But it’s not the sa for animals; they can only expel it through necrosis.

Plants can survive and even regenerate after casting off a part of themselves.

But it’s not so for animals; hastily extracting Corruption Power from their bodies not only fails to cure them but may also kill them.”

“I understand now,” Gaven realized, “Illness cos like a landslide but goes like drawing out silk; even with the right dication, it’s the sa.”

“Not exactly, Ms.

Kellysha’s thod is quite unique, and with her help, it will be much easier,” Luna said, nodding toward the Callia in the heart of the Mountain Tribe.

Countless Earth Elent energies were drawn by her from the ground and then dispersed, dyeing the surrounding Golia mbers a shade of earthy yellow as if becoming a part of their bodies.

But soon, these Earth Elents were tainted with black, and then ford into tangible clumps of mud, beginning to peel off and fall from them, especially at those necrotic wounds, a severe condition much like scab formation in normal people, only replacing flesh with Earth Elent, and hundreds of tis faster.

These black clods of mud didn’t even reach the ground.

The Corruption Power within them was drawn away by the Crystal Spire while the Earth Watcher re-manipulated the Earth Elent, integrating it back into the bodies of the Golia mbers, helping them extract more Corruption Power.

Kellysha likely used this thod before to alleviate the Necrotic Plague for the Golia, but without the aid of the Crystal Spire, the Corruption Power was harder to extract and probably indigestible, only transferable.

Considering her previous ntion of defiling mountains and the powers she employed, they might have infused the corruption into the mountains themselves.

Even with the Crystal Spire’s assistance, driving out the Necrotic Plague from so many Golia mbers was quite draining on Kellysha; Gaven had only just arrived when she ceased guiding the Earth Elent and sprang up from the ground with her bright eyes wide open.

She couldn’t hide her fatigue, but her face radiated sincere joy.

“Congratulations, Ms.

Callia, for finding a way to heal the Necrotic Plague,” Gaven offered his heartfelt congratulations.

Although his first little sche had been shattered, he still had a second one.

From their current condition, it was clear that it would take the Golia people a couple of months to completely rid themselves of the Necrotic Plague.

During this period, they would have no choice but to stay in snoel.

Given their racial characteristics, after their recovery, they would certainly return to the mountains.

But even having them as temporary residents of snoel is advantageous.

At least it ensures the city isn’t deserted.

While others worry about lacking territories, Gaven’s concern now was having a territory with no populace.

The population issue in the Three Rivers Region was just starting to show promise when he was handed an empty Elf city with fairly complete constructions.

This city wasn’t quite suitable for the Tesser People; the most fitting residents would be those of the natural races.

Of course, a small number of Humans wouldn’t be out of the question either.

“This achievent is thanks to you, sir.

If it weren’t for you reactivating snoel and restarting this Tower of Dominion, assisting them in purging the evil force from their bodies, my thod would’ve been very slow to show effects,” Kellysha candidly said.

“Now that you’ve activated the Tower of Dominion, you are the current ruler of snoel.

As a Shaman of the Mountain Tribe, I humbly request permission from the new Crownbearer of snoel to allow our tribe a temporary stay here.

In return, we are willing to form an alliance with snoel.

Should the Crownbearer call, we shall respond with our entire tribe, ready to fight for you.”

“Having the Mountain Tribe reside here is my greatest honor.

Don’t just talk about a short stay; even for permanent residence, I would welco you with open arms.

However, please don’t use the title of Crownbearer.

This place is but an empty city, and the Crownbearer is elected by the people, not self-appointed.” This aligned perfectly with Gaven’s intentions, and he naturally wouldn’t refuse.

“Good, then I will address you as City Lord from now on,” Kellysha readily agreed.

“As for settling down, I’m not in a position to decide that alone; I need to consult with our Chieftain and the other mbers of our tribe.

I have already explained to you the uniqueness of the Golia; we are inseparable from the mountains, and once we leave them for an extended ti, we are no longer Golia.”

“For that matter, we can certainly find a middle-ground solution.

You could consider this place as your rest area in the eastern part of the Marching Mountains.

Those who aren’t fit for mountain challenges, the old, the weak, the sick, and the disabled, needn’t be shunned or expelled; they can co here to spend their twilight years in peace.”
