550: Chapter 451 Mutual Fishing_3 550: Chapter 451 Mutual Fishing_3 In the dense forest, eting such conditions was all too easy.

So they kept on running until they reached the middle circle of snoel.

Once there, they had no choice but to reveal themselves.

This was the place most severely corrupted by the Divine Root, where twisted and dead trees were sparsely distributed, presenting a horrifying sight.

Every ti they saw such a scene, the Sodalite Treants could hardly contain the anger in their hearts.

Especially when they saw the elves cutting down and poisoning the trees without restraint, their rage beca even harder to suppress.

Many Sodalite Treants leaped out from the trees, roaring as they charged at those damned destroyers of the forest.

“Co back, do not act rashly, it’s a trap!”

“Don’t be reckless.”

Blue Crown and Lv Guan shouted at the frenzied Sodalite Treants, trying to stop their reckless, almost foolish actions, but to no avail.

The Sodalite Treants, clearly having the double advantage of lding into the Forest and rapid proliferation, still couldn’t overco the elves in the dense woods because they had a fatal flaw.

That was most Sodalite Treants weren’t very intelligent, scoring only around seven or eight points, on par with Gnolls.

Their close relationship with the forest also made them very easily enraged — not to ntion deforestation, even the cutting of vines and brushwood by lumberjacks might provoke their attacks.

For most Sage Races, Sodalite Treants were the symbol of savagery, with hardly any forest where they dwelt free of conflict.

“Blue Crown, I will take so people to provide support and command them, you go to snoel for reinforcents.” Lv Guan said loudly as he erged from the trees.

“I will go with you.

Blue Left Arm, Blue Right Arm, you know the situation in snoel well, leave the task of seeking reinforcents to you.” Unable to abandon his kin in such an obviously trapped situation, Blue Crown delegated the task of calling for reinforcents.

Crack!

Crack!

Whips were heard cracking in succession.

Hou!

Hou!

Cries of pain echoed one after another.

Elves, driving their slave cannon fodder, charged at the Sodalite Treant forces.

Both sides beca embroiled in a full-blown lee as soon as they clashed.

The Sodalite Treants had no formation to speak of.

Neither did the elves’ cannon fodder slaves, who just rushed chaotically towards the enemy.

In such a situation, the contest ca down to individual quality.

On this front, the Sodalite Treants had an absolute advantage.

As unmistakable near-Transcendent beings, upon reaching adulthood, they possessed at least five innate Life Dice, with a considerable number having seven or eight, and so even more than ten, stepping directly into the Transcendent realm.

Their way of fighting was also a bit unusual.

Before coming into contact with them, the slave warriors had to avoid all the vines and trees around, for they could beco hazards on the battlefield.

For example, tree roots on the ground suddenly bent into the shape of horseshoes, becoming natural traps that tripped charging enemies.

Or the trunk of a tree suddenly bending down several inches, making what seed like a passable space impenetrable, causing one to crash headfirst into it.

Or vines hanging from trees bending into natural nooses, hoisting the enemy into the air.

When such accidents occurred frequently, they were no longer accidents.

It was another Sodalite Treant Special Ability — Bend Wood Art.

This was a second-circle Druid Spell, also known as Divine Arts of Carpentry.

The spell could bend wood, distort it, and permanently change its shape and strength.

In the face of this spell, the carpentry skills of other Sage Races mostly beca obsolete.

Because the wood could change at will according to the caster’s wishes, the only thing that could limit them was their own creativity.

When compared to those Druids, the Sodalite Treants were much more formidable in this respect, capable of using the Bend Wood Art as simply as drinking cold water.

On the battlefield, such minor accidents often proved fatal, especially when a naturally powerful warrior followed closely behind.

The Sodalite Treants’ weapons were admittedly crude enough, generally just Giant Wooden Clubs combined with various wooden shields, as lding into the Forest prevented them from using equipnt of other materials.

But when strength was sufficient, even such blunt weapons as a Giant Wooden Club could deal impressive damage.

Especially against a group of equally ill-equipped slave warriors.

Upon engagent, the sound of bones breaking was incessant.

The slave warriors stood no chance against the furious charge of the Sodalite Treants, and soon left a trail of corpses behind them.

Yet driven by the elves, more slave warriors surged forth, falling only to be succeeded by more, determined to overwhelm the Treants with sheer numbers.

Soon both sides were locked in a fierce battle.

It was then that the elves sprung their most deadly trap.

Flas shot up into the sky, forming a massive circle of fire that enclosed and isolated the battlefield, the narrowest part being ten ters across.

It wasn’t just a matter of igniting the forest; there was a clear magical force within, ensuring that even an empty clearing would blaze fervently.

Like most Awakened Plants, Sodalite Treants had a fear of fire, with all types of fire damage inflicted upon them maximized.

Even with their high Life Dice, they dared not carelessly enter the fiery ring, as they would ignite before getting through.

They had beco sitting ducks.

No.

More accurately, they had beco bait on the elves’ hook, angling for the defense forces in the heart of snoel.

The big fish bit much faster than the elves had anticipated.

Before the Sodalite Treants were encircled by flas, the massive Goliath warriors charged out from snoel.

They still had the mixed squad attack mode, with twelve mixed combat squads arranged in a line at the forefront, four core combat squads evenly spaced among them.

Two Goliath Battle Groups followed closely behind in a pincer movent, raging towards the ring of fire.
