Now reading: Chapter 680 - 680 495 The Growth of Young Red Dragon1 from Farming in a Parallel World and Becoming a God, a Fantasy novel by Eternal Night Knight.

680: Chapter 495: The Growth of Young Red Dragon_1 680: Chapter 495: The Growth of Young Red Dragon_1 As for the Starry Realm pirates’ Yankee class starships and the Mind Flayers’ mind-stealing ships, these super sci-fi beings capable of traveling through the Starry Realm and various planes, they are not the subject of today’s discussion.

Dwarven forging technology is renowned throughout the world, supplying over half of the world’s tal minerals.

Do you think they are hamred out one by one?

They are also of the Everlasting Kind, like the Elves, not famous for their numbers.

Many Dwarf Cities, at most, have only a few thousand inhabitants, but the weapons and armor they produce far exceed this number.

The reason for this is that they have built their cities into massive slting furnaces, either powered by geothermal magma or assisted by bound Fire Elents.

In short, most Dwarf Cities’ slting processes do not require coal or timber for energy.

This Dwarf City, currently occupied by Gnolls, clearly fits this profile, utilizing magma geothermal energy—whether this is due to unique geological features that connect to the magma layer, or sothing the Dwarves accomplished with magic, is unknown.

Because of Dwarves, magic, and the existence of multiple planes, the prices of gold and silver are relatively diluted—Gold and gemstones, which are relatively precious in the Material Plane, are abundant in the Earth Elental Plane of the Inner Plane, and that’s also why those Legendary Mages rarely interfere with resource struggles in the Material Plane.

Given the ti, they would have long since hired a group of Elental Creatures in the Earth Elental Plane to mine for them.

The limitation of these precious tals flooding the Material Plane is not only the exorbitant cost of planar transport but also the checks and balances of the Elental Lords who purposefully suppress it.

The more one observes the silver refining production line, the more bizarre it seems.

The overall architectural style is the Dwarves’ robust, heavy, large, and practical style.

But within it, there are strange repairs made by the Gnolls intermingled throughout.

Incongruent patches and newly added odd devices make the entire silver refining production line appear exceptionally unstable, with small issues arising every so often.

The Gnolls’ thod of dealing with these is crude and simple—a big hamr in hand, they knock on it three tis before anything else.

Strangely, over eighty percent of the problems are fixed this way, and the line sputters back to life.

In the face of this, should one admire the resilience and durability of Dwarven-made items?

Or should one comnd the Gnolls’ brute force problem-solving approach?

On this count, the Gnolls and Goblins stand out in the world as unmatched talents.

This Dwarf silver refining production line, at its peak, certainly wouldn’t have such low output, with eighty percent of its products not being rough silver ingots, but pure silver ones.

But tampered with and modified by these Gnolls, not only has the production been significantly reduced, but its capacity has been weakened as well.

This isn’t re speculation on Gaven’s part, as at least half of the equipnt here isn’t being used.

On the other hand, one has to acknowledge that it’s no ordinary feat for the Gnolls to have driven this ultra-modern magical factory using their primitive thods.

With a young Red Dragon at his side, the Gnolls of the Swift Roc Dragon Nest did not launch an attack, nor was there any large-scale desertion, including the Eagle-Tribe Gnoll who had been the Elite guards of the Swift Roc.

Gaven simply let them show him around the Swift Roc Dragon Nest.

This Dragon’s Nest was clearly transford from the Dwarves’ silver vault, blocky in shape, with rows of rough silver ingots the size of turnips lined up inside.

What does a hundred tons of rough silver ingots represent?

Even if it was impurity-free pure silver, lted into a single mass, that would still be nearly ten cubic ters.

The rough silver ingots, mixed with impurities, would naturally be even larger, enough to inlay the entire floor and all four walls of the vault into a silver hue.

In comparison, the pile of multicolored coins that made up the Dragon Bed seems sowhat unimpressive—in total, having about a hundred thousand Gold Coins would be quite remarkable, and not a single Magic Item was seen.

Considering the Swift Roc’s ability to warp magic, it’s normal; even if there were Magic Items, if they stayed long enough around it, they would have twisted and broken.

This indeed represents the typical treasure reserve of a Swift Roc.

Slaying dragons and looting Dragon’s Nests is called the quickest route to wealth in Felen for good reason.

Looting rchants carries the risk of the goods being worthless.

But with Dragon’s Nests, as long as the Giant Dragon has so reputation, there will be a considerable amount of cash in its nest, without exception.

If there is an exception, either soone else got there first or the right place hasn’t been found.

Assessing the gains from slaying the Swift Roc, they surprisingly do not fall short of the disaster of the East Road, Slark Sata.

With nearly three hundred thousand’s worth of rough silver ingots, close to a hundred thousand in multicolored Gold Coins, the horse farm owners’ hundred thousand bounty, plus a silver mine with a monthly output of three thousand Gold Coins—pure profit without costs, as they are self-sufficient.

As long as the Gnolls here are kept safe from other monsters or Humans, with an annual inco of nearly forty thousand, could there be a more profitable business?

Moreover, once it’s in the hands of Gaven, who’s known for his ticulous managent, how could he possibly allow it to remain in its current operational mode?

Even if it isn’t about grand Construction like elsewhere, at the very least, the output should be maximized.

Not to ntion, there’s much to be done with that silver refining production line.

Finding a few Dwarf experts, even if it’s impossible to fully repair this silver refining production line, reaching even fifty, sixty, or seventy to eighty percent of its peak capability, an annual inco of several hundred thousand should be a piece of cake.
