Now reading: Chapter 713 - 713 506 Who is the True Moneybags1 from Farming in a Parallel World and Becoming a God, a Fantasy novel by Eternal Night Knight.

713: Chapter 506: Who is the True Moneybags_1 713: Chapter 506: Who is the True Moneybags_1 They had already left Tesser and delved deep into the Amm Kingdom.

They were now less than a hundred kiloters from Ruitawen City, the largest city nearby.

With their current pace, they could arrive in two days.

Previously in Darama, the re gathering and migration of their great army had made everyone in Saladas City restive.

Not to ntion, they were heading straight for Ruitawen, leaving a trail of rolling heads and wiping out the monster species along the way.

When they were nearly a hundred kiloters away, Ruitawen finally sent troops to make contact, and it was unclear whether they were overconfident or simply slow to react.

At first, Gaven thought it was the forr, until the clear and lingering cry of a dragon resounded from the sky, and a huge shadow appeared above the Ruitawen Light Cavalry.

The Erde and the Eagle-Tribe Gnoll all hid far away, their bodies trembling involuntarily—a Giant Dragon, an adult White Dragon.

An adult White Dragon was not much of a threat to Gaven; its strength was not much different from that of a young Red Dragon.

Among the Giant Dragon species, there were rankings, especially for the most famous five Colored Dragons, which were usually ranked in this order: Red Dragon, Blue Dragon, Green Dragon, Black Dragon, and White Dragon.

The rankings of the Blue Dragon, Green Dragon, and Black Dragon were sowhat controversial, given the large differences in their habitats and abilities, particularly since Green Dragons were adept at cunning sches, and Black Dragons preferred dark ambushes and were not fond of direct conflicts.

But there was no question that Red Dragons ranked first and White Dragons last, which was clearly demonstrated in their size.

A Red Dragon was dium-sized (cheetah-sized) upon hatching, whereas a White Dragon was small-sized (small dog-sized).

At the sa age, a Red Dragon was far superior to a White Dragon.

What really widened the gap between them, though, was their Intelligence.

Not only did White Dragons have the lowest Intelligence among the Colored Dragons, but they also had the lowest among all True Dragon species.

A newly hatched White Dragon was about as smart as a Beast, even less intelligent than a Gnoll, possessing only innate Hunting instincts and talents that increased with age.

By adulthood, their Intelligence was only on par with an ordinary Gnoll and still not up to that of a normal human.

Although there were exceptions, most White Dragons were like this.

As a result, White Dragons had the most conflicts with Humans and were the most often killed, yet their numbers remained the highest.

Due to their low Intelligence, White Dragons followed their primal breeding instincts; once they reached adolescence, they would mate and lay eggs.

And they were the type to abandon their offspring imdiately, caring not for them.

The extre habitats (cold) where they laid their eggs were less likely to be disturbed or destroyed.

Moreover, their innate talents often turned them into the strongest Hunters in the vicinity.

A White Dragon was weak only relative to other Giant Dragons.

Despite its weakness, it was still a Giant Dragon, capable of Dragon Breath, and at least invincible among the Beasts.

They were relatively safe when they lacked the power to cause harm among sentient beings.

However, once they believed themselves to be strong enough, driven by the greed common to Giant Dragons and attacked sentient beings to amass wealth, that was often when they t their demise.

Before the Arcane Soul Tower was activated, Gaven could kill a young Red Dragon; so an adult White Dragon was hardly a concern for him.

But if soone were sitting on its back, particularly if that soone had a Giant physique, then the situation was a bit more unusual.

That person was a Frost Giant.

Before Gaven could closely observe this Frost Giant Dragon Knight, he was already being approached rapidly by soone who broke from the ranks of the Ruitawen Light Cavalry.

Naturally, Gaven could not afford any discourtesy and quickly spurred his steed to et the rider.

He was now riding a common warhorse, not a Half-Moon Colt.

Often, with the unique abilities she developed, she could not stay by Gaven’s side to fulfill her duties as a mount.

A white horse, white robe, pointed mage hat, snow-white magic wand, white hair, and beard.

The wrinkles on the man’s face did not diminish his Charisma but rather added an air of wisdom to his appearance.

Upon seeing the other party, Gaven almost blurted out, “You’re not called Gandalf, are you?”

Of course, the man was not called Gandalf but Raymond, the ruler of Ruitawen City, a Quasi-Legendary Mage.

“City Lord, please forgive our unsolicited arrival,” Gaven said earnestly and amicably, “Believe us, we’re just passing through with absolutely no ill intentions.

If you have any concerns, we can imdiately divert our path to pass at least a hundred kiloters away from Ruitawen.

As you can see, we have been paving our way from Darama.

If we could directly extend it to Ruitawen, the comrcial value of that…

City Lord, you would surely understand.”

His favorable impression of Ruitawen City was not unfounded.

The city currently belonged to Amm, but in ten years, without the occurrence of war, they had voluntarily left Amm and joined Tesser Kingdom.

There were certainly many reasons for this, including internal power struggles within Amm and the trendous pressure from the rising Tesser.

If given the chance, Gaven would like to expedite this developnt.

This was a major city with a population exceeding one hundred thousand, a rarity inland, mostly found in coastal ports.

The main reason was that it was an important trade transit city.

A trade route known as Vihong Road traversed through this area.

This route began in Amm’s second-largest port city, Mulan, cut across the core territories of the comrcial Amm Empire, underwent its final adjustnt in Ruitawen, passed through the Snowflake Mountain Range, entered the Vihong Sea coast, spanned the entire Tumis, and ultimately reached the Sea of Fallen Stars.
