Now reading: Chapter 768 - 768 524 Dwarf Statue City2 from Farming in a Parallel World and Becoming a God, a Fantasy novel by Eternal Night Knight.

768: Chapter 524 Dwarf Statue City_2 768: Chapter 524 Dwarf Statue City_2 Over the following period, Gaven spent most of his ti at Dwarf Statue City.

During the day, he launched attacks alongside Shanoba, leading the Erde Squadron and the Gnoll Ferocious Mink Cavalry, scouring the entire Troll Mountains.

They unearthed all the Gnolls from their dens to bring them under their rule while also launching airborne strikes against the monster communities in the area.

With the Six-ard Snake Demon Nightshadow as backup, Gaven was even more unrestrained in his actions.

Yet there had not been a single instance that truly pushed them to the point of summoning the Six-ard Snake Demon.

They were not alone, to foolishly drop into the densest cluster of enemies—that was sothing only the most reckless brutes would do.

Coordinating from the ground and air was the correct tactic.

The Goliath Battle Group was responsible for the assault on the ground, and the Gnoll Ferocious Mink Cavalry set up traps to intercept or block any enemies trying to break through.

It wasn’t until the enemy’s main forces were fully engaged by the Goliath Battle Group that tossing a few Fireball Techniques into the densest areas from above truly played a decisive role.

By this point, eighty percent of the Monster Tribes had essentially collapsed.

If they hadn’t collapsed, it usually ant that these Monster Tribes were supported by a tenacious leader and a group of elites.

At that ti, it was Gaven’s mont to shine, carrying out execution missions.

He had yet to et a monster tribe leader who could withstand two roars of the Death Roar.

If there really were such strong beings, they would not rely be the leaders of a Monster Tribe.

The Black Dragoness raising her banner over the ruins of the Troll Kingdom and recruiting Gnoll followers went unusually smooth.

It wasn’t so much that they went out to recruit the Gnolls; rather, after they expressed this intention, multitudes of Gnolls ca knocking on their door on their own.

The reputation of the Troll Kingdom in the Troll Mountains was as ferocious and resounding as it was, Gaven’s fa was many tis greater than theirs.

After all, it required many tis their strength to annihilate them completely and claim their city as his own.

This sort of reputation needed ti to fernt, as the routed soldiers of the Troll Kingdom scattered farther and farther.

Gaven was now considered an expert in raising Gnolls, with plenty of experience.

The relationship between Giant Dragons and Gnolls was not one-sided but mutual.

To be more precise, the Gnolls’ need for Giant Dragons was more urgent than the Dragons’ need for Gnolls.

Most Giant Dragons were solitary creatures, apparently believing that only solitude could highlight their taste, their power, and their disdain for being surrounded by a noisy group of little things.

Even if so Dragons recruited a circle of Gnolls to serve them, the inequality in lifespans and concepts of ti would cause the Dragons to forget about them.

By the ti they returned, those Gnolls would either have pledged allegiance to other Giant Dragons or perished, with hardly one in ten thousand waiting in vain for their original Dragon masters.

The Gnolls’ need for Giant Dragons does not require further elaboration.

Giant Dragons were the ladder through which Gnolls gained purer Giant Dragon bloodlines and greater strength—this was all Gaven’s personal conjecture—using human thought.

The factors involved were likely more complex, entangled with the Gnoll philosophy of deep and mysterious thoughts, which was difficult for non-Gnolls to fully comprehend.

After all, Gnolls everywhere shared the sa behavior; the saying that customs change over ten miles simply didn’t apply to them, which was a rather fantastical thing in itself.

Gaven had no interest in delving further into this research; as long as it was beneficial to him, that was enough.

In just ten days, the number of Gnolls in Dwarf Statue City exceeded three thousand (including a thousand from the Cangya Legion), among which more than three hundred were as tall as Hobgoblins.

The Gnolls from the Troll Mountains brought with them various Troll Gems, presenting them as gifts to Shanoba, which were then passed straight into Gaven’s hands.

Little by little they accumulated, and the total number astonishingly matched what was harvested from the Troll Kingdom, except that the one in Gaven’s possession was still a unique piece, possibly the only one in the entire Troll Mountains.

Gaven wasn’t surprised by this.

The Trolls of the Troll Kingdom, unconcerned with production and despite overseeing the largest vein in the Troll Mountains, failed to fully exploit it.

Gaven had initially thought that at the very least they would employ a group of Gnoll Miners or sothing similar—even Goblins would do.

Those foolish creatures were not only dumb and an but also abusive; yet under duress, they worked diligently.

But there was nothing.

Or it might be more accurate to say there had been, but the greedy Trolls had eaten them all and were too lazy to round them up again.

With the grand objective of plundering the migrating army ahead of them, they had no interest in directing those monster servants who ca to pledge allegiance to mine.

Most of the Troll Gems in the hands of the Troll Kingdom were plundered from other Monster Tribes, with the Gnolls making up the majority.

Gnolls were different in that mining was an innate instinct, entrenched in their way of life.

Even if the ores could not be sold, they would still mine because once a suitable Giant Dragon master appeared, they could present the ores and exchange them for their master’s favor and rewards.

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

Accompanied by the heavy and slow beating of war drums.

Countless Gnolls, upon hearing the sound, burrowed out from the depths of the mine shafts in Dwarf Statue City; it was the summoning drum of the great King of the Gnolls and the Queen.
