In other words, this was a fight to the death with no way out for either party, only a path forward to the ultimate victory.
One wrong step and all would be wrong.
The Six-ard Serpent Demon, transford into a Nightshadow, caught the Necromancer off guard, as he was unaware that Gaven’s forces included a large number of Undead Soldiers.
Therefore, the high-level spells he prepared were those he was most skilled at, the Necromancy spells that were most effective against living beings, which were not only ineffective against Nightshadows but also had a healing effect, and the Legendary Nightshadow was immune to spells below the sixth circle.
For a mont, he was almost helpless, the only thing he could do was to cast a Dispel Magic on the Six-ard Serpent Demon, removing spells that enhanced Attributes, such as the Brute Force Spell and Grace Spell, from her.

The extended piercing attacks of the Bone Claw’s claws were but an itch to the Nightshadow Six-ard Serpent Demon, unable to even break her defenses, completely ineffective against the Nightshadow’s 25-point Damage Reduction.
The Bone Dragon Agasha’s claws and the Razor Dragon Wings were relatively more powerful, capable of overcoming the Nightshadow’s Damage Reduction, dealing at least seven or eight points of damage with each strike.
The Six-ard Serpent Demon, enveloped in black energy, hoisted those claws and wings together, amassing over thirty points in a single round of attack.
Nightshadows were not known for their Hit Points, which made this amount of damage significant; the Six-ard Serpent Demon simply couldn’t withstand four continuous full-round sessions of her attacks.
But after just one round, the Bone Dragon gave in first.
Because the attack of the Six-ard Serpent Demon was even more fierce than his; giving her a full round to attack was enough ti for her to return the favor.
He had two claws and wings, while his opponent had six swords, each strike fierce and painful.
He also had a certain Damage Reduction, but nowhere near as strong as his opponent’s.
One round down, and each of her swords would take away at least a dozen points of Life Force, six swords in total nearly scraping away close to eighty points.
If it weren’t for his transformation by the Necromancer Arms, gaining the special ability of Profane Vigor of the Bone Claws, which allowed his Life Force to far exceed normal Undead, that round of attacks could have cut down half his life.
Even so, he couldn’t withstand two full rounds of attack from the Six-ard Serpent Demon.
In the second round, he had to change his tactics, parrying instead of clashing.
Even so, it was rely delaying the inevitable defeat.
After all, with six arms at her disposal, it was hard to defend thoroughly, and a mont’s carelessness ant two or three sword strikes landing on his body.
The opponent’s Speed too exceeded his, constantly circling him, forcing him to endure the onslaught.
His only consolation was that a Necromancer stood behind him, able to channel Negative Energy into his body, healing so of his injuries.
But the problem was, if they could heal, so could the enemy.
The priest, who had also transford into a True Wraith Evil God, was doing the sa.
The Necromancer was restrained by the Six-ard Serpent Demon, while on the other side, Gaven was on a killing spree, unleashing all kinds of mayhem with the sound of explosions never ceasing.
Instead of Death Roar, he was using the Gno Alchemical Firearms he had confiscated from the slavers when they had attacked the Petrified Lizard’s Nest, adding up to quite a substantial number, reaching more than fifty.
All were purchased from the West Gate Black Market, each costing up to three thousand Gold Coins.
Their power in naval battles was evident to all.
It was only against Gaven’s led Hobgoblin Corps that they found themselves at a disadvantage.
If it were a regular army or Pirates, trying to seize a ship against fifty powerful Gno Alchemical Firearms would be exceptionally difficult; anyone below Transcendent would be pressed down without a chance to raise their head.
Gaven distributed the majority on the spot to the Tesser Sailors led by Kopofiel, enhancing their long-range firepower, while keeping a small portion with himself, planning to consult with professionals to see if he could combine the characteristics of Death Roar with these firearms for modification and replication.
Now, he was pulling them out for use, dealing with Ghosts, Specters, and Shadows.
Gaven was taking them down one by one, no quarter given.

Most Undead creatures below Transcendent had relatively low Hit Points, especially the Spiritual Bodies.
Even the inherent physical Damage Reduction of fifty percent born by Shadows was useless at this mont.
It wasn’t that Ghosts naturally had this ability, but rather their ability to flicker frequently between the Shadow Plane and the Material Plane, which ant they only had a fifty percent probability of being hit.
However, this location was neither the Material Plane nor the Shadow Plane, but a gap between the two.
