Farming with Entries: From Lord to Emperor Chapter 562 - 282: Conspiracy (Part 3)
"Your consideration is very thorough and admirable."
Silo explained with a smile, "But I’m not talking about the ordinary bandit group that usually pillages villages."
"It’s a bandit group equipped like army soldiers, led by two senior knights."
"Your master also has such a troop under him?"
Lurice widened her eyes, staring at Silo in disbelief.
"That’s not sothing you need to worry about, my dear Baron."
Silo maintained his smile, "You only need to consider whether you want to participate in this battle."
Lurice was silent for a long ti.
She understood the envoy’s hint, but her inner cautiousness made her wary of making a hasty decision.
After all, she wasn’t the true authority of the Hawk Clan, and this decision concerned the fate of the Hawk Clan.
"If things go wrong, the Hawk Clan will face disaster."
"Not just punishnt from the Empire, but also retaliation from Black Pine Ridge, which we cannot afford right now."
"High rewards always co with risks."
Silo spoke with temptation, "This ti, the Hawk Clan will receive half of the goods, and my master will first pay you five hundred gold coins."
"As long as you agree, the money will be delivered imdiately."
"And the Hawk Clan only needs to provide terrain intelligence and logistical support."
"Even if things go wrong, there won’t be any evidence to prove the Hawk Clan’s involvent."
This proposal greatly tempted Lurice.
The Hawk Clan already harbored animosity with Black Pine Ridge, and there were many rumors that her father’s death was related to Lord Rod.
Now with this opportunity to deal with Lord Rod, Lurice didn’t want to miss it.
But her cautiousness made her unsure of what to do for the mont.
"I need to see those two hundred elite soldiers before I can decide."
Lurice finally spoke, "I also need to know the entire plan’s process, all its details."
"Absolutely no problem."
Silo’s face was full of smiles,
"Now, please bring out a map of Eagle Ridge, and I will explain the detailed plan to you."
...
...
Blade Mountain Range, in the valley by the shore.
The Seal People were earnestly savoring the black bread brought to them by Rod.
The Tide Claw Tribe had never eaten black bread before; at first, its dry and hard texture wasn’t appealing to them.
The Seal People preferred roasted at, smoked jerky earned their favor.
They even crushed the black bread and sprinkled it over grilled fish and jerky to eat together.
It wasn’t until they sandwiched grilled fish and seaweed between two pieces of dry bread that they fell in love with the food.
This sowhat piqued Rod’s expectation—though the Seal People’s diet didn’t seem very appetizing.
"Thank you for letting us taste this wonderful food."
Hai Er respectfully bowed to Rod.
"You did a good job too."
Rod praised with a smile, "In these three days, you caught four thousand pounds of sea goods nearby, you certainly have so ability dealing with these sea goods."
"The underwater areas near you haven’t been harvested before, so they are rich in fish and shrimp."
Hai Er revealed a foolish smile, "Actually, if we encounter fish schools, there would be even more!"
Rod nodded slightly,
"But what I’m more interested in now is the giant lobster ntioned by your tribe."
The corpse of the Flying Feather Sea Serpent had already been disassembled.
Its scales, feather fins, tusks, innards, and so on were all sent by Rod to the Sea Abyss Wizard Tower for temporary storage.
Avril was researching what purposes these parts serve; once clarified, Rod would bring all these materials back.
Before that, Rod intended to sweep the sea monsters along the coast.
"No problem, what do you need us to do?" Hai Er responded readily.
"I don’t want my dragon to go into the water."
Rod instructed, "So I need you to lure that giant lobster onto the shore."
"That should be doable..."
Hai Er bowed his head in thought for a mont and said, "But we need to prepare."
"What do you need, I can have others assist you." Rod stated.
"A giant lobster usually likes innards and carrion, the stronger the sll, the better."
Hai Er continued, "If my tribesn go directly near its nest to lure it, it might not work."
"But if we hang slly fish guts all over ourselves, it should co out of the cave quickly."
"Alright, do as you propose."
Rod nodded in agreent, "Once we’ve successfully hunted that lobster, I will reward all of you."
