"Now you're even venturing into the realm of faith, which makes quite puzzled!"

"What it is doesn't matter."

Luo De smiled casually, "The important thing is that it is valuable and can help our territory continue to develop, that's enough."

"Hmm, that's reasonable,"

Senda mused, "Don't worry, I don't mind studying the gods."

"My teacher once said that knowledge has categories but no boundaries."

"Understanding, mastering, using."

"These are what truly matter."

What Senda said is also the philosophy that wizards have always adhered to.

Wizards have never rejected theology; they have even actively embraced the gods.

But the pursuit of truth often offends the higher-ups and spirals out of control, thus being labeled as blasphemous.

Later, wizards refused to join the ranks of the gods, only studying and researching, yet were branded as evil heretics.

One could say, wizards have always pursued, while the gods have excluded dissenters.

And in Luo De's philosophy, whether to have faith is not important.

What matters is obtaining what one wants.

"I need to go back and research."

After Senda finished speaking, he nodded and bowed to Luo De before turning to leave.

Luo De also didn't linger in the smoky manor and headed to the magic potion workshop.

Now You Lai and the others are researching the bloodline potion of the snow rabbits, the key potion to further awaken Fernie.

However, Luo De had barely taken two steps when Gala hurriedly ca over to report.

The rock spine sleeping in the mountains had just cracked open.

...

...

On the southwest border of the Broken Rock Empire.

The Empire military camp.

Inside the command tent of the highest commander, Leon, the atmosphere was tense.

Thick tapestries muffled the noise from outside, making the tent quiet like the calm before a storm.

A huge tactical map was spread out on the wooden long table, densely marked with various military symbols.

Commander Leon was wearing exquisite armor, the commander's emblem displayed on his chest.

He sat at the head, his hands crossed on the table, deeply gazing at the two guests in front of him.

The bishop Salido, dispatched by the Holy Council, sat on Leon's right.

He wore a robe with a white base and gold thread embellishnts, and the holy emblem of the Dawn Church was suspended on his chest.

Salido appeared to be around forty years old, with a stern and noble visage.

The silver-gray hair was impeccably grood, sitting upright and elegant, every movent hinted at aristocratic upbringing.

Yet Salido's slightly raised chin and disdainful eyes laid bare his arrogance within.

On the left side was the representative of the Dawn Society, Lusen.

Facing the Church directly for the first ti, Lusen was vigilant, sitting with discipline, speechless.

"Bishop Salido, we appreciate the Holy Council sending you to assist."

Leon spoke with a respectful and formal tone.

"You must have heard about the threat of the undead; your arrival will dispel that darkness like dawn."

Upon hearing this, Salido showed a satisfied smile.

He gently touched the holy emblem on his chest, his voice carrying evident superiority.

"Commander Leon is too kind."

Salido's tone was deliberate and solemn,

"Dealing with evil undead creatures is precisely the duty of the Holy Council."

Salido paused montarily, "And for us, the undead are not actually difficult to deal with."

"They are foolish, lacking intelligent guidance, only blindly fighting."

Salido extended a finger to draw in the air.

"With rely weapons blessed by the radiance of our Lord, we can easily crush them like ants."

Upon hearing these arrogant remarks, Lusen's eyebrows subtly furrowed.

Nevertheless, Lusen remained calm, not countering.

Commander Leon noticed Lusen's reaction and spoke again,

"Bishop Salido, I have faith in the Church's strength."

Leon spoke sowhat hesitantly,

"But the research of the Dawn Society shows that the undead threat is far more complex than imagined."

"And I was personally involved, there seems to be so conspiracy hidden behind it."

"Oh, is that so?"

Salido's eyelids slightly lifted, glancing at Lusen's position,

"Though the Dawn Society has so capability in certain fields, forgive my frankness,"

Salido intentionally paused, letting out a weak snort from his nose,

"but compared to the holy light of our Lord, like comparing a candle to the sun, it's entirely aningless."

"The research of the Dawn Society holds no value for us."

Salido spoke in a calm and slow voice, elegance tinged with arrogance,

"Trust , the undead are rely slightly troubleso pests."
