The team was handed over to Gang Le, and Luo De urgently rode towards Frost Leaf Town.

Milly clung tightly to his robe, her little face full of confusion.

The guards saw Luo De’s figure from afar, opened the wooden gate of Frost Leaf Town in advance, and saluted Luo De.

Luo De didn’t stop, galloping straight through the small town and rushing back to the manor.

"Good day, Lord Baron."

Durant rushed forward to salute and was surprised to see Milly, saying: "This is..."

"Let’s see the Dragon Egg first."

Luo De handed Milly over to Leia for care and turned to walk towards the wooden house where the Two-legged Flying Dragon Egg was placed.

Pushing open the door, a warm atmosphere hit him in the face.

Although the weather was already warm, the fireplace here had never stopped burning.

Movent, what does this an?

Is it about to hatch?

With anxiety in his heart, Luo De stepped forward, closely watching the two Two-legged Flying Dragon Eggs surrounded by iron ore.

——They stayed quietly inside.

There was no reported movent from the guards, just that the scales on the eggshells were a bit dark blue.

"What’s happening?"

Luo De turned around to ask Durant.

"After the shift change inspection in the early morning, the guard suddenly found the dragon egg on the left shaking."

Durant reported earnestly: "At first I thought it was an illusion, keeping a close eye on them until we saw them move again this morning.

"Your vanguard just arrived in the town at that ti, and I imdiately sent soone to inform you."

"I think this is a good thing, at least they are both alive."

As soon as Durant finished speaking, the dragon egg on the left started shaking again, looking like a hatchling was bumping inside.

"It really seems like it’s about to hatch."

Luo De waved his hand, signaling for a guard to bring a chair for him to sit down.

"Could it be that the eggshell is too hard for it to break through?"

"Wouldn’t the mother dragon usually help them?"

"Should we help it by making a small hole in the egg, giving it an exit?"

...

In a mont, Luo De asked a series of questions.

It was the first ti Durant saw Luo De like this.

Even when encountering the Two-legged Flying Dragon back then, the Lord wasn’t as tense.

"I think it should rely on its own efforts, Lord Baron. Only then can they have strong bodies."

Durant said earnestly.

"Hmm, you’re right."

Luo De nodded, took a deep breath, "Let’s wait until they really can’t get out before we intervene."

"Alright then..." Durant felt a bit helpless.

"You don’t need to stay here with ,"

Luo De leaned back in the chair, instructing: "Gang Le will be back soon, go and assist him, and arrange the livestock and goods with Lawrence."

"Yes, Lord Baron."

Durant saluted and took his leave.

Luo De stayed beside the Dragon Eggs, occasionally glancing at the two eggs.

This was a long process.

After waiting for a long ti, the dragon egg on the left finally moved again.

With a crisp "snap," a faint crack appeared on the surface of the dark blue eggshell, emitting a light blue glow.

Here it cos!

Luo De stood up, staring intently at the Dragon Egg!

Cracks on the eggshell multiplied, resembling a spider web.

"Crack!" A small piece of eggshell fell off.

Luo De held his breath.

From the small hole, a damp claw extended out, with sharp claw tips.

The claw retracted, followed by another crisp sound, and more eggshells shattered.

This ti, a small dragon nose poked out from the crack, as if tasting the outside air.

Crack, crack—

The continuous cracking of the eggshells produced clear and rhythmic sounds, which were Luo De’s favorite sound.

Crack!

A forceful impact sounded, and the majority of the eggshell was pushed open!

Soon a dragon head about the size of a flowerpot erged, covered in stringy mucus.

The little one just squeezed out, with its body still in the eggshell, began ravenously devouring the eggshell.

It’s said that dragon eggshells are rich in nutrients, enabling dragon hatchlings to grow quickly.

Luo De seized this opportunity to closely observe the little creature before him.

The newly hatched Two-legged Flying Dragon was slightly larger than a cat but had a long and slender fra.

Overall, it looked like a scaled-down version of an adult Two-legged Flying Dragon, with an oversized head and thick hind legs.

It appeared less fierce and nacing, with a bit more cuteness.

The little one ate happily, its wings unfurling, nearly as long as Luo De’s arm.

To Luo De’s amazent, as the eggshell was continuously consud, the little creature’s body beca noticeably more defined.

Sunlight stread through the window, just casting its rays upon it, allowing Luo De to see the tallic sheen glinting on its azure scales.

This intrigued Luo De to wonder about trying the eggshell himself, curious about its magical properties.

After a round of devouring, the little one finished the eggshell completely, leaving no crumbs, and began to survey its surroundings.

The deep blue vertical pupils conveyed confusion and curiosity, scanning the area before landing on Luo De, causing it to step back a couple of steps, bumping into a box.

"Roar!"

It let out a soft call, unique and pleasing, sowhat like a bird’s chirp, yet with a thicker quality.

"Don’t be afraid."

Luo De subconsciously reached out his hand, slowly extending it towards the little one.

The little creature watched him cautiously, its vertical pupils fixed on each of Luo De’s movents, sniffing toward his hand from a distance, letting out a low murmur.

The little one took a step forward, cautiously approaching Luo De’s palm.

Stretching out its neck, it seed to confirm sothing by sniffing again, gently touching Luo De’s fingertip with the tip of its nose.

The moist, cool touch, combined with the rhythmic warmth of its breath, captivated Luo De.

He also felt a sense of relief.

Luo De had no clue about taming a Two-legged Flying Dragon, having been worried before its birth.

To prevent it from becoming too aggressive, Luo De had even prepared chains.

Now it seed there was no need.

Though he still didn’t know why the little one recognized him, not having to confront hostility was a trendous relief.

Seeming to have identified Luo De’s identity, the little one grew bolder, beginning to nuzzle its head against Luo De’s hand back and forth.

The hard and sharp dragon scales made Luo De’s palm throb with pain, yet his joy was undiminished.

He took so pre-cut dried at and fed it to the little one.

The little creature sniffed briefly before taking a bite, swallowing it whole.

"Aren’t you going to chew it?"

Luo De looked at it with concern, and the little one rubbed against his hand, opening its mouth again.

With no choice, Luo De took another piece and tossed it into its mouth.

Two-legged Flying Dragons are magical beasts and wouldn’t starve themselves over food.

Luo De kept feeding it until, after over ten thumb-sized pieces of jerky, it was satisfied and rubbed against Luo De’s hand, lay down close by, and rested its head on its wings to sleep.

Luo De let out a sigh of relief, withdrawing his hand.

He turned his head to the dragon egg on the right, feeling a bit tense.

"Your brother, or possibly sister, has already been born, next it’s your turn."

Luo De murmured as he stared at the dragon egg on the right.

The dragon egg seed to understand, shaking vigorously before forming crack after crack.
