Farming with Entries: From Lord to Emperor Chapter 729 - 340: Demon Crystal Vein

Northern Wasteland.
The edge of Razor Plain.
The continuous mountains wind north, connecting with the Icefield Mountain Range.
In late sumr, there’s no trace of heat here.
But the fresh breeze didn’t bring Baron Blom any comfort.
He stood on the hillside, squinting at the distant mountains, holding a sheepskin map in his hand.
This map was personally drawn by Lord Luo De, with the location of a silver mine marked in red ink.
"Sigh."
Baron Blom sighed.
He had been leading the search in these woods for three whole days, crossing seven peaks.
But not a trace of the silver mine was found.
Not even a decent mineral stone.
The adjutant standing beside Baron Blom said softly, "Could it be that Lord Luo De made a mistake?"
Doubts began to creep into Baron Blom’s mind.
"Impossible."
Baron Blom shook his head, "With sothing this important, Lord Luo De would never make a mistake."
"This indicates an open-air silver mine."
Baron Blom said firmly, "We must have searched the wrong place."
"Shall we continue forward?" the adjutant asked.
Baron Blom thought for a mont, then ordered, "Inform everyone to rest today, and continue tomorrow."
"Yes, Baron Blom."
The adjutant nodded and turned to convey the orders.
At that mont, a soldier hurriedly ran up from the slope.
"Baron Blom!"
The soldier held up a stone excitedly, "Look at this, it’s different from ordinary stones!"
The stone, the size of a fist, had a smooth, glossy surface, looking like a piece of coal, but reflecting a blue glow in the sunlight.
Baron Blom imdiately took the stone and felt a strange sensation.
But when he tried to feel it again, he couldn’t sense it.
This wasn’t silver mine.
Baron Blom knew very well.
The color of a silver mine should be silvery white or grayish white.
But this was definitely not an ordinary stone.
"Where was it found?"
Baron Blom raised his head, staring intently at the reporting soldier.
"In the valley to the north!" the soldier imdiately replied.
Baron Blom hesitated for a mont while holding the dark blue stone, then turned to the adjutant,
"Summon everyone, let’s go have a look up ahead!"
"No problem, sir!"
The adjutant hurriedly ran to the soldiers behind.
The sound of horns blared, and dozens of soldiers quickly gathered.
Blom personally led the team, crossing two hills to the valley where the dark blue stone was found, and began a thorough search.
The place indicated by the soldier was just an ordinary valley.
But the difference was, the wild grass knee-high on both slopes was all withered, and the surrounding trees had few leaves, looking as if they were about to die.
Baron Blom wasn’t concerned about these, and went straight to the place the soldier pointed out.
"Right here!"
The soldier pointed at the ground and reported, "This is where the stone was found."
Baron Blom looked around and loudly ordered, "Search the area thoroughly, find stones like the one I have!"
"Yes!"
The soldiers responded in unison and quickly began a carpet search.
Baron Blom didn’t stay idle, joining the search team himself.
"Sir! Co quickly!"
Suddenly, a soldier on the slope shouted, "There’s sothing here!"
Blom hurried up the slope without delay.
The soldier lifted the wild grass with his foot, revealing the dark blue stone underneath.
"What are you waiting for? Dig it out!" the adjutant urged loudly.
"We can’t dig it out!"
The soldier imdiately said, "This stone seems very large!"
"Then dig it all up!"
Baron Blom commanded loudly, "Everyone co here! Clear all this dead grass and dirt, dig out the stone underneath!"
"Yes, sir!"
The soldiers imdiately acted, uprooting the withered grass and throwing it aside.
The roots brought up large chunks of soil, and more and more dark blue stones were revealed underneath.
"A vein! This is definitely a vein!"
Baron Blom looked at the stretch of dark blue stones, his voice trembling.
He didn’t know exactly what kind of vein this was, but this precisely indicated its importance!
Baron Blom turned to the adjutant, shoving the dark blue stone into his hand,
"As fast as you can, send this back to Frost Leaf Town!"
...
...
Frost Leaf Town.
In the Lord Manor, Avril was packing her luggage.
Leia was stuffing items into Avril’s bag one by one.
"Bring more of this malt sugar, Miss Vivian likes it."
Leia stuffed the box in, "Also these fish-flavored biscuits and squid shreds, the Lord probably hasn’t had them for a long ti..."
"Alright Leia, they have all these things in Giant Stone City."
Avril held Leia’s wrist, smiling, "Leave these behind, you can have them."
"Oh, okay."
Leia reluctantly took out the fish-flavored biscuits and squid shreds.
She recalled Avril had told her before that the resources in the south were abundant.
"What about the malt sugar?" Leia asked, still not giving up.
Avril originally thought to say there’s honey over there, but seeing Leia’s expectant eyes, she eventually put it in the bag.
"That one box should be enough."
"Oh, alright."
Leia nodded, then muttered to herself, "What else can I take..."
At that mont, Milly walked in, pouting, "Sister Avril, can’t I go with you?"
"Fernie went with Brother Luo De, I want to go too..."
"Not now, dear."
Avril apologized, ruffling Milly’s little head, "Sister has important things to do, and can’t take care of you."
