When her hands were clasped by U-Olga Marie, Director Olga Marie showed a look of astonishnt.
U's body began dissolving into spirit particles. At this rate, the forr Alien God would, at this very mont, transform into pure Mana.
"What are you doing…?" Olga Marie asked in shock.
"The Mana needed to load the main weapon that imitates the Holy Lance," U replied calmly, looking at the hands she was holding. "If I convert all of myself into Mana and pour it into the armant, the second shot can be fired imdiately."
"That's not what I'm asking." Olga Marie frowned deeply. "This is suicide… Didn't Teacher say that after the battle with ORT ends, he still has sothing he wants to tell you?"
"If we fail to seize this final chance to completely destroy ORT's true body," U said in a calm yet proud tone, "then there will be no 'after' to speak of."
"…"
Olga Marie had no reply.
"I don't know the exact structure of your Holy Lance armant," U continued, "but if it's you, you should be able to handle the Mana I convert."
She paused briefly.
"I'm sorry. I originally intended to return this body to you. Unfortunately… there's no ti now."
"That kind of thing doesn't matter…" Olga Marie couldn't bring herself to say anything else.
She couldn't stop U-Olga Marie from disappearing.
"Could you not look so depressed? It's making restless just watching," U-Olga Marie said with irritation. "I finally managed to acknowledge your existence. Seeing the exact sa face constantly wearing that gloomy expression makes it hard for to leave in peace."
Just as she said, for the two of them now, the other was "another self."
Whether Olga Marie admitted it or not, U had already accepted that fact. She even regarded her as the "true Olga Marie," the "original."
"You're right. This is a once-in-a-lifeti grand fireworks show for 'Olga Marie.' Being this gloomy really is…" Olga Marie forced herself to pull herself together as she spoke.
U showed a faint smile. By now, her body had faded until only the last thin outline remained.
The Mana conversion was almost complete.
As the "Alien God," both her will and body would soon disappear entirely.
"Oh, right. There's one last thing. I feel like I should ask clearly."
U stared at Olga Marie seriously.
"You like that person, don't you? The man you call Teacher?"
"Yes."
"Then… does he love you? Does he love 'Olga Marie Asmilleit Animusphere'?"
"Of course."
It wasn't an unexpected question, yet it was one that had to be answered head-on.
Olga Marie felt grateful that she could stand tall and give her answer to "the other herself."
"I see… so that's how it is. That's good."
"From here on… I'll leave everything to you, 'my other self.'"
The words carried both relief and peace of mind as they left U-Olga Marie's mouth.
From mortal enemies who once fought without rcy, to beings who could no longer remain enemies, and finally to this mont—without even ti for a proper farewell—she chose, on her own, to give up everything so that her forr enemy could win.
The body, mind, and soul of the "Alien God" turned into pure Mana and gathered in Olga Marie's hands.
For a human Magus, it was an overwhelmingly vast amount of Mana.
Olga Marie knew she could control it only for this single mont.
"Romani! Imdiately redirect the Holy Lance armant's Mana input port to the deck!"
Ti resud its normal flow. Every second now was critical.
"Yes!"
Romani still had no idea what had happened, and neither did the others.
All they saw was that ti outside the Storm Border had temporarily co to a halt.
But after fighting all the way here, everyone trusted Olga Marie's judgnt.
They also believed this was the best opportunity.
"This is all the Mana provided by the 'Alien God,'" Olga Marie said. "Leave the firing timing to as well!"
Olga Marie poured the Mana into the Holy Lance armant base aboard the Storm Border.
"Massive Mana charge detected. Holy Lance armant, [Human Order Theorem · Future Proof], loading sequence initiated," Nemo's voice rang out. "Firing authorization is now transferred to Director Olga Marie."
The imnse weight of it all, where a single trigger would move everything, nearly made Olga Marie faint.
But she held on.
Clenching her teeth, Olga Marie stared fixedly at ORT in the center of the battlefield vortex.
U-Olga Marie's superphoton acceleration enveloped the entire Storm Border, dragging the warship into a different flow of ti.
At this mont, the Storm Border existed on a different plane from ORT.
This was the best chance to completely destroy it.
"This is the resolve of our New Chaldea, humanity's final will!" Olga Marie swung her arm forward, aiming at ORT's silhouette. "Holy Sword Armant, Hu-Barrel Rayproof, fire!"
With power equal to the first strike, the Holy Sword Armant discharged once more from the bow of the Storm Border.
A sharp golden radiance tore through space, crossed ti, and shot straight toward ORT.
Even though ORT had already accelerated to its limit and managed to catch up with Chaldea in its superphoton-accelerated state, it was still too late.
The power of the Holy Sword Armant struck ORT directly at its core.
A massive Mana reaction began swelling from within ORT, its Mana fluctuations growing increasingly unstable.
"ORT's internal Mana is expanding rapidly... estimated to produce an explosion comparable to a supernova! Everyone, brace yourselves and take cover!"
Romani's tense warning had barely finished when the explosion swept across the entire fifth layer of Mictlan.
A trendous shockwave spread outward in both directions, engulfing the fourth and sixth layers as well.
Amid the devastating blast, the Storm Border was like a small boat tossed about in a violent storm. Simply maintaining balance and keeping the protective Barrier stable required every ounce of effort.
All radar systems failed, leaving the battlefield impossible to observe.
The blinding light forced everyone to shut their eyes tightly. They could only press themselves flat against the deck to make sure they wouldn't be thrown off.
Fortunately, the Barrier itself helped anchor them in place.
No one knew how long the storm of destruction lasted before it finally began to subside.
The ship gradually steadied.
Olga Marie forced her eyes open and saw a sky as dazzling as a cosmic nebula.
"Teacher!"
"Mother!"
The next mont, startled cries erupted around her.
Amid the shouts, Shiomi and Morgan, their fusion already undone, were pushed back onto the Storm Border by the lingering shockwave.
Team A caught Shiomi, while Sakura and Baobhan Sith caught Morgan.
"I'm fine..."
Shiomi raised his hand, doing his best to reassure them calmly.
"Don't worry."
Morgan was also simply kneeling on the ground.
Just as everyone was about to breathe a sigh of relief, a chilling sense of dread suddenly swept over them.
Morgan and Shiomi both looked up at the sa ti.
