Now reading: Chapter 1033 - 10: Heading to the Central Core from Fate: How About a New Savior?, a Action novel by PinkSnake.

As Shiomi and the others followed BB toward the core, Sakura and Caren synced BB's vision through VR on the bridge of Storm Border.

The VR equipnt was probably another limited item provided by BB.

The others also linked up to Mooncell's monitors through the screens, watching the whole trip unfold live.

"So this is basically a live moon travel show..." Shiomi muttered, nearly slipping as his footing faltered for a mont.

Skadi studied the structure of the spiritron fictional city with clear interest.

"This is a rare opportunity. Even if we'll be forced to forget it afterward, being able to witness it with our own eyes is still a worthwhile experience for humanity."

Her tone was gentle. Speaking from a goddess's perspective, she gave the whole matter a positive judgnt.

"When you put it that seriously, my dear disciple doesn't really have anything left to say," Scáthach comnted with a smile.

"Hehe~"

Skadi laughed as well.

BB smiled calmly.

"Let's continue the earlier topic. Mooncell's core was originally an absolute forbidden zone, a place only the final victor of the Moon Holy Grail War was allowed to enter."

"So what I'm getting right now counts as special access through the back door?" Shiomi asked.

"Strictly speaking, it should be considered the reward Father deserves after eting all of Mooncell's preset standards," BB replied. "Father now possesses the qualifications to decide the foundation of Human Order."

"If the Bleached Earth hadn't happened, Tenkei wouldn't have needed to make this detour to co here, right?" Artoria asked.

"You can think of it that way," BB explained. "For a universe that requires infinite possibilities, the Authorities of [Creation] and [Continuation] are both extrely important. Originally, the latter was sothing Mooncell intended to grant, but Father obtained it on his own."

"A bit of a loss, then," Shiomi said, pretending to sound disappointed.

Under BB's guidance, the group soon passed through SE.RA.PH and arrived at a special area.

From there, they could take a special elevator to Mooncell's core.

"The core is the brain that operates the moon, observes Earth, and gathers both past and future into itself. It records an almost infinite number of future possibilities, observing and calculating branching fates second by second, then sealing them away in the form of 'light' within a one-eyed box."

"Light?"

Olga Marie looked thoughtful.

"Sothing like the lights on the planet's surface observed by CHALDEAS?"

"Not the sa as CHALDEAS."

BB shook her head.

"The core is a system tree that can lay fate bare at a glance. 'Light' is information capable of replacing and rewriting physical laws. It is a crystalline body that seals away light spanning hundreds of millions of light-years and operates using that light."

From BB's explanation, everyone understood one thing: Mooncell's performance surpassed CHALDEAS.

"Then if we use the core, does that an we can negate CHALDEAS's [Human Order Preservation]?" Shiomi asked.

"In terms of the final result, yes. But when facing fate with countless branches, in what form does Father intend to deny CHALDEAS's actions?" BB asked in return.

"I..."

Shiomi fell silent.

It was an important question.

Should he deny CHALDEAS's very birth from the beginning, or simply stop CHALDEAS as it was now?

"These are the things Father has to think through and decide when standing before the core," BB said seriously. "CHALDEAS has already entered its final stage. Simply denying it head-on is not difficult. But as for what kind of effect that would have on Proper Human History trapped on the surface of the celestial sphere, only Mooncell knows the answer."

"What a complicated question," Morgan said.

If, together with CHALDEAS, the planet's surface were completely rewritten through Mooncell, erasing CHALDEAS and even all records that it had ever existed, then the Proper Human History they knew could be overlaid onto the Bleached Earth in a form where Chaldea had never been born at all.

In a sense, the problem would be solved.

But would that really be the most correct choice?

Even if it wasn't false, and in the end only the people of Novian Chaldea knew the truth.

No one else would ever know that they had once abandoned Proper Human History.

The new world would only be an absolutely real "replica."

"What do you think, BB?" Shiomi suddenly asked.

"Huh?"

BB clearly hadn't expected him to throw the question back at her.

"Regrettably, I'm only the higher AI responsible for guiding Father, an information life-form born from Sakura's data. So..."

"But you have your own soul. You are Sakura, and you aren't Sakura."

Shiomi looked at her seriously.

"BB, what kind of choice do you hope your father will make?"

BB put on a troubled expression.

"You're really going to do this, huh..."

But her eyes remained bright and sly.

"Of course I hope the final decision will be one that leaves Dad with no guilt or regret, even after a very long ti."

"Then that's fine."

Shiomi smiled.

Morgan nodded as well.

"My husband, you just wanted to compare answers with BB, didn't you?"

"Call it a parental instinct," Shiomi said with a laugh. "On that point, Sakura and Caren probably understand best."

BB looked thoroughly unhappy.

"That's exactly why this is such a headache... Anyway, we're about to reach Mooncell's core region. This is where the journey ends for the rest of you. You can only watch from the entrance. Beyond this point is a place only Father and Mother are permitted to approach."

After a short ride, the trackless aerial elevator stopped in a special area.

Even before stepping out, Shiomi could already feel the gravity that held the entire computer space together. It was the foundation that allowed the spiritron fictional city to exist.

"So in the end, we just get front-row seats to watch Morgan and my dear disciple do their thing?" Scáthach said with a shrug, looking mildly dissatisfied.

"Master..." Shiomi said, not knowing how to respond.

Morgan stepped out first and glanced back with a faintly smug expression.

"It can't be helped. Right now, I'm the only one who can assist my husband in battle. I do feel sowhat sorry toward all of you, but I ask for your understanding."

"No wonder you're always so unconcerned," Touko said thoughtfully.

Because she understood just how special her own position was, Morgan never minded how many partners Shiomi had by his side.

"Who can say?" Morgan replied with an elegant smile.

Skadi pressed her lips together, her expression serious.

"From here on, only the two of you can deal with what cos next. Be very careful."

"We'll wait here for you, teacher," Olga Marie said.

"Just make the choice you believe is right, Tenkei," Artoria said, gazing deeply at the two of them.

Scáthach also gave them a silent, gentle look.

Shiomi nodded softly in response to their encouragent.

Then, holding Morgan's hand, he walked toward the core that awaited them.
