"Welco, everyone! Welco, all of you from Chaldea! I know you would never harm our lives for selfish reasons! Why? Because I heard it from the very beginning, of course! I even saw it with my own eyes!"

From the altar atop the temple at the center of Chichen Itza, Kukulkan gave Shiomi and the others an enthusiastic welco.

Her cheerful personality kept striking Shiomi as oddly familiar. Thinking about it more carefully, he was reminded of Quetzalcoatl from Proper Human History.

Very similar, yet also a little different.

Perhaps that was simply how it manifested: different facets of the sa divine spirit, one as Quetzalcoatl and one as Kukulkan.

"I've already inford all the Deinos. They are not foreign enemies. In the na of the 'Teachings of the Sun' [Kukulkan], they are to be treated as friends from this point onward."

While Shiomi was still thinking, Kukulkan had already shown her goodwill in action.

"So that's how it is. From here on, you won't need to keep using that clumsy disguise Magecraft anymore. Vicob, pass the order along. Chaldea is permitted to discuss Proper Human History."

Blue Tezcatlipoca, the Dinosaur King, gave the instruction to the Deinos priest attending him at his side.

The reason was simple enough.

Unlike the Ocelotl, Chaldea was a group far friendlier to the Deinos.

The pterosaur-like priest Vicob, however, looked utterly confused.

"But even so... no matter how you look at them, they're Ocelotl. No, they're the sa species as the foreign-culture hiders who ca to Mictlan."

"They are the sa species as the hiders, and they know plenty of undesirable things about civilization. But precisely because of the benefits of foreign culture, xico City exists, while Chichen Itza does not. Isn't that unfair? Let this be a chance for the Deinos to learn as well, whether it's the ecology of good or the ecology of evil. It's fine, Vicob. The Deinos are all intelligent. The direction of their species hasn't changed until now, and their values would only amount to seasoning at most. Just think of it as a new kind of stimulation after corn."

With reasoning like that, Kukulkan managed to persuade the priest Vicob.

She looked a bit airheaded and natural by appearance, yet she unexpectedly understood the logic of all things very clearly.

"So it really is Kukulkan after all," Shiomi said after the priest left.

"You an you were actually wondering whether I was a fake when you ca here?" Kukulkan asked, looking surprised.

The Dinosaur King sounded speechless.

"What that man ans is that you really are a god, not so strange creature, Kukulkan."

"Don't twist what I said into sothing weird..."

Shiomi reflexively shot back, then realized the Dinosaur King had not actually gotten it wrong.

"Oh... no, that's not twisted. That is basically what I ant. I can't really sense divinity from you, but the way you carry yourself does share sothing in common with the Quetzalcoatl we know."

"Quetzalcoatl..."

Kukulkan looked a little concerned by that na, but did not say anything more.

At that point, the Dinosaur King looked toward Shiomi and the others.

"You really did sothing big this ti, Chaldea. Not only did you destroy xico City, you also brought out a phenonon like that. No... I should say, the black one showed you in advance what might happen later, didn't he?"

Even while praising their accomplishnts, he continued to analyze the situation calmly.

"So what you an is that it was not an illusion shown by Black Tezcatlipoca, but a genuine future," Scáthach said at that point. "In ten days, ORT, slumbering in Mictlan, will awaken for so reason and destroy the entire underground world?"

"At this point, stop asking the sa thing over and over," the Dinosaur King said with visible annoyance. "You have qualified gods on your side too, don't you? Aren't their eyes enough to prove what happened earlier?"

Faced with that retort, Shiomi and the others could only smile wryly.

It was not that their teacher doubted their judgnt.

They simply needed multiple sources of information to verify one another.

Any misjudgnt at all would be fatal.

ORT was not an opponent that could be defeated so easily. Even the Unity God had been forced entirely onto the defensive against it.

If they had not used a trick to destroy that prematurely revealed phenonon, Unity God Morgan might well have suffered a true defeat.

Even if they had been defeated back then, once the replaced phenonon itself reached its proper ti, it would not have affected the present or what ca after.

"And now xico City has already been destroyed. The Ocelotl have lost their base and suffered heavy losses. Even if they launch an attack on Chichen Itza, the Deinos alone can hold them off," the Dinosaur King continued. "So use this ti to finish your resupply and leave. If you're going to fight the hiders, don't do it on the third layer. Go fight sowhere else."

For the Dinosaur King, having Chichen Itza turned into a battlefield would be a major nuisance.

"You don't need to tell us. That was already the plan," Shiomi said, raising a hand. "We originally went to xico City to investigate because we ant to ambush the Tezcatlipoca over there and destroy their fighting strength."

In terms of results, that covert operation had gone extrely smoothly.

There simply had not been any force capable of stopping Shiomi and his group.

Tezcatlipoca could not casually fight at full strength, and the remaining enemies were no longer worth worrying about.

"Good. Then don't waste my ti. At least let leave behind sothing of value here, instead of staying with you people forever and wasting months of my life."

As he said that, the Dinosaur King looked toward Kukulkan.

Kukulkan, anwhile, grinned and cheerfully comnted, "His Majesty the King is really serious! Well then, I'll leave the solar tour in your hands~~!"

"Judging by your reaction, you plan to go with Chaldea?" The Dinosaur King did not seem surprised at all. "Fine, do as you like. Keeping you here is exhausting for too. As long as you don't get in the way, that's already good enough."

As he said that, the dinosaur-faced king wore the expression of soone born to overwork.

Despite being a divine facet of Tezcatlipoca, he sat on the throne like a diligent salaryman stubbornly doing his job without ever getting help from anyone.

Shiomi could not help feeling a little sorry for him.

Then, before turning to leave, he asked one final question.

"On the way here, Kukulkan said she was Mictlan, or rather, the king of this Lostbelt. Is that true?"

"Do you really have to confirm it again? You people from Chaldea are endlessly ticulous." The Dinosaur King snorted. "Then yes, that's the answer. If this one hadn't forced into it, I wouldn't be sitting here playing Dinosaur King in the first place."

"Ehehe~."

Kukulkan, as though an embarrassing truth had just been pointed out, blushed, stuck out her tongue, and put on an expression clearly trying to coast by on sheer cuteness.
