Then Morgan turned to Shiomi and said,
"I'll handle things here. My husband, hurry and find the 'Alien God'."
The mont they entered this place, the presence of the 'Alien God' beca extrely clear.
"If you need to find that 'Alien God,' then you'd best hurry."
At that mont, Rama pointed with his sword in a certain direction.
"Duryodhana and Bhima are both racing for the sa 'prey.' Their strength may not be enough to defeat the 'Alien God,' but that strange god looks absent-minded and devoid of fighting spirit..."
The implication was obvious.
In that state, even Servants might have a chance to kill the 'Alien God.'
Setting aside how likely that really was, if she were driven into a corner, whether the 'Alien God' chose death for herself or went berserk, neither outco would be ideal.
"Are you sure this is okay?" Shiomi asked with a smile. "Telling the test subject who's about to run off where his target is?"
"If the circumstances were any different, I would much rather answer your summoning and fight to reclaim Proper Human History, no matter how many tis it took," Rama said with an earnest smile. "I have long wanted to repay the debt I owe you from North Arica, but I never had the chance."
"Enough. Go."
Morgan raised her magic spear.
"I'll answer this 'question' for my husband. Let's see which side finishes its task first."
With his wife urging him on, Shiomi stopped wasting words. He picked Olga Marie up and sprinted in the direction Rama had indicated.
A rain of arrows ca at them from behind.
Having pulled away from Kukulkan, Arjuna had no idea what had just been said here. Fully intent on carrying out Shiva's mission, he loosed dozens of arrows in succession.
But Morgan blocked them all with Magecraft, and none of them could catch Shiomi.
"Will Lady Morgan... be alright?" Olga Marie asked.
"What you should be asking is whether the two of us will be alright."
Shiomi could not help laughing a little.
"At the mont, all my authority is in my wife's hands. I'm basically just an empty shell of a god now. I can't use my full strength. It's almost like I've gone backward."
"I see..."
Olga Marie gently placed a hand on his chest, feeling a little sorry for him.
For a Magus, power was an extrely important thing. She understood the fear and unease of losing the very thing your existence depended on.
Even if Shiomi himself looked completely unaffected.
"What concerns more right now is what Rama said," Shiomi said. "It looks like the 'Alien God' is still being affected by the authority. Failing to take it back imdiately back then may actually have turned out to be a good thing."
"What are you planning to do, Teacher?" Olga Marie asked.
"No. The real question is what Marie wants to do."
Shiomi shook his head.
"That is your body. And the other one is just the thief who stole it. Right now, that existence has already begun to waver. Whether we destroy it or choose so other option, neither would be difficult for us."
"Destroy it..."
Olga Marie fell silent in thought.
She understood what Shiomi ant by destruction.
If even the aning of one's own existence turned out to be false, then shattering the mind, taking away the ability to fight, and then eliminating that being would be an entirely reasonable course of action.
But Olga Marie knew all too well the pain of being lost about the aning of your own existence.
To find a reason to live again had been, for her, a piece of luck not even one in ten thousand could hope for.
Just then, Shiomi ca to a stop.
Olga Marie imdiately lifted her head and looked around.
Kotomine Kirei was fighting two Servants, and his body was covered in wounds.
One of them wore golden armor and radiated a stern, godlike presence.
The other wore a dark purple robe and carried an air of flashy, almost excessive nobility.
Those two were fighting Kotomine Kirei.
And the reason was simple.
Kotomine Kirei was blocking them from getting close to the 'Alien God' and attacking her.
"This really doesn't suit you," Shiomi said mockingly. "Working this hard to protect a companion."
"It is nothing," Kirei replied. "I simply have no choice but to do this. If U-Olga Marie disappears here, it will affect the plan that follows. We Alien Apostles have no way to defy our mission."
"A companion?"
The Servant in golden armor paused slightly. Together with the purple-robed Servant, he shifted position to keep Kotomine Kirei pinned down, leaving the priest no route of escape.
"Are your eyes just for decoration, Bhima?" the purple-robed Servant sneered. "Isn't that man the one Karna and the others ntioned?"
Bhima narrowed his eyes.
"Now that you ntion it, Arjuna said sothing similar. You're awfully calm about this, Duryodhana."
"I'm the one who's going to personally take the head of that so-called alien god. A feat like that isn't sothing I'm letting the likes of you steal."
Duryodhana sounded smug and full of himself.
They clearly saw each other as rivals, yet were cooperating here.
Obviously, the weight of the mission on them had made them, like Karna and Arjuna, temporarily set aside their personal feelings toward one another.
"So what now?" Shiomi said. "I can take care of this fake priest for you. I just need to talk to the 'Alien God.' After all, you already know that as Servants of Human Order, you can't actually kill her. At most, you could only capture her."
"Arjuna and the others let you through, so it seems they have other arrangents in mind."
Bhima was unexpectedly reasonable.
"Fine. You may pass."
"Hey, hey. You're really going to let them through?" Duryodhana objected in dissatisfaction. "Don't forget your own mission."
"Then you go fight him. I'll handle this priest."
Bhima kept his eyes fixed on Kirei.
"Karna warned us that this priest cannot be taken lightly. He has to be dealt with properly."
Karna had seen through the foul nature of the priest at a glance, which was why he had said so.
Bhima had clearly taken those words to heart instead of dismissing them as idle talk from an outsider.
"Tch..."
Duryodhana clearly did not want to do that.
He might be the sort who got carried away easily, but he still understood the gap in strength between people.
If Karna had not possessed the power of the three gods, he probably would not have been able to defeat Shiomi at all.
"Yeah, yeah, just get going already. But if you let the 'Alien God' get away, don't bla for not being polite."
Duryodhana stared suspiciously at Shiomi.
Shiomi only smiled carelessly.
"Well, that depends on what she wants."
With that, he passed between the two sides in mid-battle, carrying Olga Marie with him as he leaped onto the floating island where the 'Alien God' was.
"This is truly troubleso. We were supposed to stop the one being tested, and yet you just let him through. All of you are far too biased."
Kirei tore off his damaged priestly robe, revealing the solid muscles of a body honed through relentless training.
"Unhappy?" Bhima said. "I know you still haven't shown your true strength. If you want to keep dragging this out, fine. We have plenty of ti."
"That's enough talk!"
Duryodhana had no interest in continuing to waste words on this bizarre priest. Karna had already warned him, and advice from a good brother was not sothing to ignore.
Swinging the fla-wreathed staff in his hand, Duryodhana took the lead and launched a fresh round of attacks at the priest.
