“Thanks for what? You’ll be helping take care of the bakery a lot in the future.”

Aunt Camden was really good to her, making her feel not frightened or anxious in a foreign land, but instead adding a sense of ho.

“Where’s Sweet Kitty? Didn’t you bring her today?”

Sweet Kitty was indeed very well-behaved; Jasmine felt lucky to have picked up such a pretty and clever kitty.
Jasmine chatted with the landlady while making pastries.
