Chapter 1057: Chapter 1057: No, Who Wants to See Him Chapter 1057: Chapter 1057: No, Who Wants to See Him After that day, Charles Mcintosh really settled down in Lonton. The apartnt he bought was right across from Lilac Serval’s ho.
As long as there was any movent in Lilac Serval’s house, Charles Mcintosh would know.
Today, Chale Cheney ca to Lilac Serval’s ho.
He ran into Charles Mcintosh as soon as he ca out of the elevator.
“Uncle Mcintosh?”
“It’s .”
Chale Cheney opened his eyes wide in surprise, his little face full of astonishnt, “Uncle Mcintosh, why are you here? Did my dad also co?”
“Your dad didn’t co. Uncle Mcintosh ca here for so work.”
Charles Mcintosh hadn’t seen the little fellow for a long ti, and Lilac Serval really kept him well hidden.
The kid was still the sa as ever, fair-skinned, with large watery eyes, carrying a small backpack with a toy train peeping out.
Charles Mcintosh pretended not to see it.
“Oh.” The disappointnt in the little one’s eyes still showed through.
Even though he kept telling Jasy and Lilac Serval that they didn’t need Elder Cheney, and even if he ca, he didn’t want to see him.
But when he heard he hadn’t arrived, the little emotions still surged up.
“Uncle Mcintosh, are you looking for Aunt Lilac? She went out to borrow books.”
“Hmm… Open the door. I’ll go in and wait for her.”
“Okay.”
Chale Cheney didn’t have any ulterior motives, and he happily unlocked the door of Lilac Serval’s apartnt.
This was Charles Mcintosh’s first ti entering.
The apartnt wasn’t big, but it was tidy and cozy.
Simple wallpaper, vibrant green plants, and a clean bedspread.
It looked very comfortable, which didn’t quite match Lilac Serval’s appearance.
There was also a big bookcase in the corner, filled with books.
He opened the refrigerator.
Inside were milk, eggs, and so vegetables.
“Uncle Mcintosh will make lunch for you, how about that.” Charles Mcintosh said.
“Really?” Chale Cheney was excited. He had never tasted Charles Mcintosh’s cooking before, “Yes, please!”
Charles Mcintosh rolled up his sleeves and turned on the range hood.
He would occasionally cook for himself over the years, and his skills were still there, what he should know, he still knew.
Chale Cheney ran over curiously, “Uncle Mcintosh, can you cook?”
“Yes.”
“Wow!” Chale Cheney looked at Charles Mcintosh with admiration. “Uncle Mcintosh, can my dad cook?”
“I’m not sure.” Charles Mcintosh chatted with Chale Cheney, “Does Aunt Lilac cook often?”
“Not much, we eat at the training ground, or go out.”
“Oh, I guess she wouldn’t either.” Knowing that he could extract many words from a child, Charles Mcintosh asked, “Does anyone else co to Aunt Lilac Serval’s apartnt?”
“No…”
“Are there any uncles who have been here?”
“You’re the first one, Uncle Mcintosh.”
“Then what does she usually do at ho?”
“Read books, watch TV, or daydream.” Chale Cheney replied honestly, “Uncle Mcintosh, why don’t you care about ?”
“Oh.” Charles Mcintosh curled his lips into a smile, “And you? Have you been training well with your master recently?”
“Hmm, I have.”
Charles Mcintosh thought children were easier to communicate with.
“Uncle Mcintosh, is my dad’s health better now?” Chale Cheney couldn’t hold back any longer.
Last ti Elder Cheney said he wasn’t well.
“He’s already better, you don’t need to worry. When he has ti, he will co to see you.”
“I don’t want that, who wants to see him, don’t want, don’t want.” Chale Cheney acted obstinate again.
Charles Mcintosh cracked an egg, glanced down at Chale Cheney, and smiled.
The more Chale Cheney grew up, the more he resembled Mr. Cheney, even their temperants were identical.
Chale Cheney circled around Charles Mcintosh, sotis even helping him out.
Charles Mcintosh’s face was stern, his features handso, and while he cooked, he exuded a sense of dosticity.
