Chapter 1125: Chapter 1125: I Will Take You to Maple Mountain Again Chapter 1125: Chapter 1125: I Will Take You to Maple Mountain Again Jasmine Yale felt agitated and her emotions were erratic.

She simply turned off her phone, switched off the light, and hid in the warm covers.

The events of that night felt like a dream, too brief to even be considered a dream.

Jasmine pressed this night’s events to the depths of her heart, pretending nothing had happened.

But in class, she sotis found herself distracted and drifting away, visions of red blood stains appearing before her eyes.

That color was too shockingly vivid.

She closed her eyes, and all she could see was endless darkness, just like that night when she couldn’t see anything clearly, relying only on her sense of sll and hearing to feel Sylvan Cheney.

Jasmine suppressed her thoughts and quietly took notes with her head down.

The departnt’s evening party went on as scheduled.

On Friday night, in the auditorium, Jasmine sat with her classmates watching the performances.

It was the first evening party she had attended since the school year started. Although she wasn’t performing anything, she enjoyed sitting and watching from below the stage.

There were dramas, dances, and singing…

Jasmine propped her head and silently watched the party.

It was early winter, and before long, finals would arrive and then… quickly the New Year.

Yukon Carbon couldn’t co to watch the party; he had phoned her, saying there was so issue at the bank.

Surrounded by unfamiliar classmates, she felt sowhat lonely in this foreign land.

The lights in the auditorium were off, and a blonde-haired, blue-eyed beautiful hostess presented the program in English.

Jasmine had an indescribable feeling inside her; though the program was quite interesting, her heart wasn’t on the stage.

Like duckweed drifting in the water, aimless and floating without direction.

Among them, an international student perford the musical “Moon Shines Bright in the Hotown”; as Jasmine watched, her thoughts instantly leaped back to Landon.

The stage play transitioned from spring to winter, creating a compelling scene with the moon weaving through all the seasons.

When it ca to winter, snowflakes began to flutter down like feathers, generously covering the ground.

A full moon shone on the snow, dyeing it a pale yellow, ethereally hazy.

The llifluous sound of a flute played, hotown snow, bright moonlight.

The entire audience held their breath, drawn in by the beautiful scenery.

All were engrossed in the performance onstage, including Jasmine.

In her mind, scenes of snow suddenly erged, from last year on Maple Mountain, where snowflakes were rampant.

And soone whispered in her ear, “Jasy, it snows every year in Landon; next year this ti, I will still take you to Maple Mountain.”

His voice was deep and rich, like a cello resonating beside her ear.

More than half of her mories throughout her twenty-plus years were covered by her mother, the rest… all by him.

In Landon it snows annually, and so it does in Cakago.

The stage play concluded, the final scene freezing on the falling white snow, leaving people musing infinitely.

Jasmine’s thoughts sowhat drifted.

Like those snowflakes, dispersed, with no known date of return…

When the program ended, she wasn’t quite aware, only realizing everyone gradually left before she snapped back to reality.

Turning her head, she noticed most of her classmates had already left.

Was it over?

It felt like it had just been a mont?

Jasmine ca out of her reverie and started packing up her backpack.

As most of the classmates had left, Jasmine walked toward the door, overhearing students ahead talking, “It’s snowing! It’s snowing heavily!”

It’s snowing?

Jasmine followed the crowd step by step with a hint of surprise.

If it truly was snowing, this would be the first snow she had seen in Cakago.

She loved the snow; she had loved it since she was a child.
