Chapter 1180: Chapter 1180: True Identity Relations
Ann Nolan quickly finished her breakfast, as it was neither early nor late.
Evan Guerrero had roughly skimd through the Golden Growth docunts, as there was a brief press conference to be held shortly.
“I’m done eating. Should we head to the office together? You didn’t let anyone inform ahead of ti, so I was a bit caught off guard,” Ann Nolan said cautiously.
“With your way of handling things, you surely must have prepared all the necessary materials and speeches for long ago. Am I right?” Evan Guerrero smiled, looking at her.
Ann laughed, “You know so well.”
Indeed, ever since she had heard that Golden Growth was acquired by Evan Guerrero, she had prepared all the relevant materials, just so he could take office without any worries.
“Let’s go upstairs.”
Evan Guerrero straightened his suit and tie, and gracefully got out of the car, assisting Ann as she exited.
She carried his docunts and walked alongside him in the underground parking lot.
Ann’s office was right next to the CEO’s, allowing Evan Guerrero to call on her whenever needed.
She placed the already prepared files on his desk, not giving Evan Guerrero any cause for concern.
“Ann, having you manage things really saves a lot of trouble,” Evan Guerrero said. “I’ll have another secretary handle CEO Waverly’s matters, and you can just assist alone. Today, at the press conference, I will be making so changes to the positions, and from then on, you will be in charge of the entire secretarial departnt.”
Ann felt sowhat overwheld with honor. “CEO Santos, I’m afraid I might not be up to the task. I haven’t been at Golden Growth for long, and I’m relatively new to the secretarial field as well.”
“I trust your capabilities, and I trust my own judgnt.”
Ann felt a bit embarrassed by his praises. If she really were to take the position, she would work hard to live up to Evan Guerrero’s profound favor.
It was still quite early before work began, and Ann helped Evan Guerrero organize materials in the office.
Evan Guerrero made a cup of coffee and listened while drinking as Ann explained to him.
Ann suddenly realized that in many aspects, she and Evan Guerrero shared similar views.
Moreover, Evan Guerrero genuinely commanded respect.
Despite his young age, he was very thoughtful, had great courage, and was decisive.
It was Ann’s first ti working directly with him, and they got along very well.
Ann sat on the couch, and Evan Guerrero sat at the office desk, as they faced each other and discussed the current situation of Golden Growth.
Evan Guerrero was very professional, and Ann saw many strengths in this man.
At the ti of the press conference, it was Evan Guerrero’s first appearance at Golden Growth, and the entire room was astounded. No one had expected the young man, who had caused such a stir in Landon’s financial scene by acquiring Golden Growth, to be so youthful.
Ann sat next to him, continuously typing notes on her laptop.
Golden Growth was involved in foreign trade, and the company employed many foreigners.
Ann was highly skilled in foreign languages, accurately translating specialized terms, which saved Evan Guerrero a lot of ti.
During the press conference, so journalists arrived, and cara flashes flickered, setting a serious atmosphere.
No one knew the true nature of the relationship between Ann and Evan Guerrero; in their eyes, it was rely a connection between a CEO and his secretary.
Ann had already changed into formal attire in the dressing room. She looked proper, with a modest and dignified smile, sitting next to Evan Guerrero in his suit, appearing particularly well-matched.
The press conference was brief, lasting only fifteen minutes.
This was followed by a simple Q&A session with reporters.
Evan Guerrero was not very keen on answering the journalists’ questions, and after responding to a few, he left the rest to Ann.
After the press conference, there was an internal morning eting where Evan Guerrero made personnel movents and arrangents, and Ann Nolan officially assud the position of Head Secretary.
