“Is there a second Miss Yale?” Charles Mcintosh asked with a faint smile.
By the window, he and Lilac Serval stood shoulder to shoulder.
Through the window, one couldn’t see much of a view, just the incessant heavy rain pouring down from the sky.
The air was filled with misty vapor, fuzzy and indistinct, making it impossible to see the horizon.
“But as far as I know, Miss Yale isn’t coming back to the country, right? If she stays abroad for a lifeti, will this mansion beco vacant?” Lilac Serval said.
“That’s still Miss Yale’s property, and no one else can touch it.”
“Charles, there’s sothing I don’t understand. Why did Mr. Cheney have dealings with Miss Harry in the first place? If I rember correctly, so even said they had a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship. I know it’s baseless gossip, just the dia making sothing out of nothing.”
“Mr. Childe viewed the Harry Family as close friends, and in his eyes, having known Yacob Harry for many years, naturally, he considered Yacob Harry as one of his own.”
“Elder Childe really is getting old, failing to see people for who they are. I think he’s becoming more senile with age. At his age, he still cos out to ddle in affairs,” Lilac Serval was at a loss for words. “Is it because of Elder Childe’s words that Mr. Cheney started to have dealings with the Harry Family?”
“No… There’s sothing you don’t know, Hadley Xinez is in Elder Childe’s hands.”
Lilac Serval was taken aback.
She knew all too well about that annihilation case, and likewise, the na Hadley Xinez was not unfamiliar to her.
But she was not involved, and she had not followed up on this matter afterward.
Now, hearing what Charles said, she understood it all.
“Doesn’t Mr. Cheney hate Hadley Xinez?” Lilac Serval sighed.

Charles Mcintosh spoke slowly and deliberately, articulating each word to Lilac Serval.
