Chapter 1249: Chapter 1249: Who Would Dare to Want You Like This?
Lilac Serval was startled and instantly slamd her chopsticks down. “Why are you yelling? Can’t you speak normally? Where do you get off being so hot-tempered? I’m neither your subordinate nor your sister, you have no right to yell at !”
Charles McIntosh’s expression darkened.
Won are really damn troubleso.
“I’m not eating anymore, you eat by yourself.” Lilac Serval abandoned the al and stood up.
She had a temper too and was never soone others could easily push around.
With Charles McIntosh yelling at her like that, naturally, her expression soured, and she was upset.
Really, yelling at her? What right did he have?
Even her master wouldn’t yell at her anymore, who was Charles McIntosh to her? Can’t speak properly?
“Lilac Serval, do you think no one in this world can handle you anymore? You think you are above the law?”
“Even if soone can handle , that person isn’t you!” Lilac Serval grabbed her bag from the sofa, her expression ugly. “If it weren’t for Mr. Cheney’s incident, you think I’d willingly co back to Landon to see your face? Ha, Charles McIntosh, you might as well go to prison sooner, die there, I wouldn’t care!”
Lilac Serval’s attitude was extrely hostile.
That was just her nature; she didn’t take anyone’s nonsense, let alone Charles McIntosh’s.
Charles McIntosh had no right to lose his temper at her.
He probably didn’t rember that he had sent her to another man’s bed.
What a forgetful creature.
Or maybe, he purposefully didn’t ntion it.
Not ntioning it, did that an she had forgotten? She would never forget that incident in her lifeti.
In this world, he, Charles McIntosh of all people, had no right to bla her.
The atmosphere suddenly dropped to freezing.
Lilac Serval intended to leave, and she would definitely have to pass by Charles McIntosh.
Just as she was grabbing the strap of her bag to leave, Charles McIntosh’s powerful hand grabbed her wrist and wouldn’t let her go.
“Finish your al.”
“The sight of you makes too sick to eat, Charles McIntosh. After speaking calmly with you for a bit, you really think I’ve beco mild-tempered, is that it?”
“No, I know you’re a porcupine. Sorry, I shouldn’t have raised my voice.”
“I’m begging you, go to prison for Mr. Cheney, consider it accumulating so good karma. Charles McIntosh, if soone were to cut open your heart, do you know what color it would be? Oh, no, you don’t have a heart, you damn don’t have a heart.”
Hatred colored Lilac Serval’s face.
As long as Charles McIntosh didn’t provoke her, her emotions would stay calm.
But the mont he showed even a slight temper, her expression would darken.
A thorn was lodged in her heart, unremovable.
She wouldn’t take his nonsense.
“If it really cos to that, I will go to prison for Mr. Cheney, you need not worry.” Charles McIntosh’s tone softened, “It’s only ten years.”
“Let go.” Her expression was dark as she looked at him.
“Little Lilac, let’s talk about our issues later. For now, can we… get along well?”
“I told you to let go. Are you deaf?”
Charles McIntosh’s powerful hand still held her wrist, the veins bulging with strong force.
His deep-set eyes glimred darkly, the light steadfastly fixed on her face.
He was determined not to let go.
Lilac Serval raised her other hand and rcilessly scratched his wrist with her long nails.
“Hissss…”
Charles McIntosh winced in pain.
Taking advantage of the mont, Lilac Serval pulled her hand free and gave him a cold glare.
A long, bleeding scratch marked the back of his hand, blood flowing out.
He actually laughed, his smile carrying a hint of indulgence, as if looking at a little child.
“Who would dare to have you like this.”
Charles McIntosh’s voice was weary and hoarse, a faint smile playing about the corners of his mouth.
