“No!” Jasmine Yale imdiately refused. “What do I need so many clothes for? Just one set for the New Year’s is enough.”
In her childhood, even one set of new clothes was hard to co by.
Her dad wouldn’t give her money, her mom didn’t have much, and sotis they would just symbolically buy her a cheap coat or knit her a new sweater.
Despite this, she still looked forward to the New Year, still cherished her mom’s homade sweaters.
Her mom had clever hands and would knit all sorts of pretty little animals onto the sweaters, sotis kittens, sotis bunnies, every one different.
This ended up making Kamila Zahir jealous, jealous of her, trying to snatch her sweaters.
