Chapter 1256: Chapter 1256: Kissed Her on the Lips
She was very happy today and whispered to him, “Are you very tired? I’ve heard that n don’t like shopping.”
“Yes.”
“But you rarely accompany to shop. It should be okay just once in a while, right?” Jasmine Yale mused to herself. “If you say it’s not okay, then it might be because you usually accompany others too much, so you don’t like shopping with .”
“Where do you co up with your logic?” Sylvan Cheney felt amused.
“Yale logic.”
“Not focusing your brain on studying, always daydreaming.”
“Don’t sar ,” Jasmine defended herself sternly, “I’m very serious about my studies. If you don’t believe , you can ask the teacher. The teacher even praised , only you think I’m not good. In your eyes, don’t I have any strengths?”
“In my eyes, you are all about strengths.”
“Really?”
“Really.”
Sylvan Cheney had not opened his eyes; hearing her joyful voice, he curled the corners of his lips.
Jasmine Yale liked being complinted, especially by him.
Seeing his good mood today, she couldn’t help but push her luck further, “Then complint again, you said I have many strengths, so give an example.”
Her small hands were massaging his shoulders as her gaze focused intently on his face.
She stared at him without moving, taking in the expressions on his face, but unfortunately, there wasn’t much expression there.
Aside from the raised corners of his lips indicating a good mood, she couldn’t read anything else.
“Don’t push your luck.”
“Oh,” Jasmine sulked, deflated. “Clearly, you’re just trying to make happy. Everyone says won are good at coaxing, but n are the sa, sweet-talking like honey, knowing just how to delight a little girl.”
All strengths and not a single example, this was surely just to cheer her up.
But she didn’t hold it against him.
It took a long ti to drive ho from the shopping mall, and she got tired after massaging his shoulders for a while and fell asleep on his shoulder.
The driver drove smoothly.
Sylvan Cheney opened his eyes, held her in his embrace, and wrapped her with the dark brown blanket in the car.
Jasmine Yale really slept like a pig – completely still and unresponsive.
“Jasy.”
No reply.
Sylvan Cheney, helpless, held her and wrapped her tightly in the blanket.
Jasmine must have really tired herself out shopping, sleeping deeply and snuggling in his arms, clutching his sweater.
Her cheeks were touched with a faint blush, like the spreading glow of peach blossoms.
It was hard to tell if it was her delicate face or her inviting sleeping expression that caused the heat to rise within Sylvan Cheney.
He leaned down and kissed her lips.
A light, dragonfly touch.
Jasmine Yale naturally had no reaction and continued to sleep.
Sylvan stared at her red lips, the most primal desires stirring within him.
In the end, he restrained himself.
That day, the sunshine was splendid, and everywhere was scattered with a shimring golden light.
The villas at the Cheney Residence were touched with gold, wonderfully radiant.
When Jasmine Yale awoke, the car had already arrived ho; it was now the evening.
The sunset glow dappled the greenery and trees of the Cheney Residence, and twilight was everywhere.
Jasmine Yale, in high spirits, carried her large and small shopping bags inside and reminded Aunt Hurst to prepare the dumpling filling.
She had promised to make dumplings for Sylvan Cheney.
After sleeping on the drive, her face showed no signs of fatigue, back to her lively and energetic self.
She brought him his slippers, poured him tea, and was extrely attentive, doing everything by herself without needing the servants.
“Mr. Cheney, on Chinese New Year’s Eve, I’ll make dumplings for you again, okay?”
