Chapter 1275: Chapter 1275: It’s His Mother

During her stay in London, Jasmine Yale never left Chale Cheney’s side.

It was as if she was afraid he would get lost.

Chale Cheney was very fond of Jasmine Yale; even spending every day together, he never grew tired of her company.

They shopped together, dined together, built blocks together, did crafts together…

Jasmine even taught him how to bake bread using an oven; Chale was very smart and learned quickly.

That cleverness must have been inherited from Sylvan Cheney.

There were many fun places to explore on the estate, and they stayed there for several days.

In her free ti, she and Chale Cheney would sit on the spacious balcony to soak up the sun.

Chale Cheney would lay barefoot on the carpet playing with toys, while Jasmine sat in the wicker chair on the balcony knitting a sweater.

Ti passed peacefully; the monts serene.

The sunlight stread onto the balcony, casting a quiet and beautiful glow on everything there.

It brought a sense of ho that had long been missed.

It perfectly matched everything in her dreams.

Chale was always playful, liking to crawl around on the carpet.

“Jasy, when I’m with Grandmaster, he doesn’t let play like this,” Chale Cheney complained, feeling aggrieved.

His distress tugged at her heart.

“When you’re with Jasy, you can play however you like,” Jasmine indulgently watched him.

Thinking of what Chale had been through in the past only made her more sympathetic towards him.

Especially the ti Yolanda Fern took him hostage, the little guy trembling on top of a Ferris wheel with a sharp knife pressed against his neck.

She had no regrets trading herself for the little rascal’s safety.

“Jasy, I miss Dad, I want to see him…” said the little rascal while playing with his toy train, his little mouth turning down.

“He’s very busy, but he will co to see you once he’s done,” she reassured him.

“I’m afraid he really doesn’t want anymore.”

“That’s not true, he loves you a lot.”

“But when will he be done being busy, when…”

When… Jasmine didn’t know either.

Jasmine continued knitting the sweater, her gaze drifting into a daze.

If Chale really was her Little Rascal, her baby, and that man didn’t tell her, surely it was because he only wanted the child, not her…

It’s fine if he doesn’t want her, she harbored no expectations of being with him, she indeed wasn’t worthy of being his wife.

But what about considering her feelings when he looks for a stepmother for her baby?

Her feelings must an nothing; he had never considered them, had he?

He cherished Chale so much, he would surely never give Chale to her… Even if he had more children in the future, he would never give Chale to her.

The sunlight stread onto the balcony again, casting a layer of sparkling water droplets on her long eyelashes, light and soft.

Jasmine lowered her head, her knitting hands coming to a halt.

“Jasy!” The little rascal sat on the fluffy carpet, tilting his innocent face upward, his bright eyes looking at her.

“Ah…” Jasmine snapped back to reality, turning her head.

The little rascal smiled at her, revealing two rows of pearly white teeth.

His smile was infectious.

Jasmine smiled back, “Why did you call for Jasy?”

“No reason, I just wanted to call you.”

“Then call ‘Mama’, okay?”

“Okay, Mama!” The little rascal had no hesitations; in his eyes, Jasmine was like the mother he had always longed for!

With that sweet call, Jasmine’s heart lted.

She stared blankly at the little rascal’s clean, pure face, smiling.

In her heart, it was as if a clear spring flowed, tinkling gently, soothing and smooth.

“Mama!” Chale Cheney called out again.
