“Daddy, when will you co to Lonton?” The little guy leaned over on the table, almost sticking his face to the telephone.
Beside him, Jasmine Yale’s expression had already darkened.
The mont she heard Sylvan Cheney’s voice, it fell severely, heavy like a gathering of dark clouds.
Chale Cheney hadn’t missed the hardened expression on Jasmine Yale’s face, but he didn’t want Jasmine Yale to leave.
