Sylvan Cheney was true to his word, spending the entire day, without going anywhere else, accompanying her at the Cheney Residence.

Sylvan Cheney slightly lifted his head and said indifferently, “Seventeen or eighteen thousand.”
“Hmm, soday when I’m rich, I’ll buy you one too.”
Sylvan Cheney could only wryly curve the corners of his mouth.
Which watch of his wasn’t more expensive than that one?
Jasmine Yale’s eyes sparkled as she looked at the magazine, she whispered softly, “I ntioned before about wanting to open a shop, you still haven’t told what kind of shop would be good.”
“Are you serious?”
“Yeah, really serious.”
“Open a shop selling whatever you like.”
“What about a pet store?”

“The kind where you could buy a Chale Cheney,” Jasmine Yale chuckled, teasing on purpose.
Because she’d heard from Chale Cheney that Sylvan had joked he was bought from a pet store.
Which pet store could sell such a cute baby? She wanted to buy a dozen.

“What experience do you have?” Jasmine Yale curiously asked.
“I have experience raising pets; after all, I’ve raised one for twelve years.”
“And what happened to your pet after that? Have I seen it?” Jasmine Yale, this silly girl, didn’t catch on at once but was rather interested.
“After that? It’s sitting on a chair flipping through a magazine, even asking how much a watch costs.”

“Alright.” Sylvan Cheney stopped what he was doing and took a piece of milk candy from the drawer next to him and stuffed it into her mouth, “Don’t move.”
Jasmine Yale chewed the milk candy begrudgingly, her chest rising and falling uneasily.
“So this pet, you’re going to keep it for a lifeti?” Jasmine Yale asked.
“If it only knows to scratch and bite , then no need.”
“No need then no need, we’ll see if you need it when we’re in bed.”

“I’ve integrated a few proposals over here for you to take a look at,” Charles Mcintosh stated calmly, “Is Miss Yale… not going back to Cakago?”
“If she doesn’t go back, are you going to attend her classes?”

“Don’t ask about her matters,” Sylvan said coolly, “What about Joan Harry? Found her?”
“Little Lilac hasn’t sent any news yet; probably no leads.”
“Keep looking.”
“I know,” Charles Mcintosh nodded.
