“Did Cheney Residence receive any calls today?”
“No, Mr. Cheney.”
“Has she called anyone?”
Butler Santana thought for a mont and shook his head: “No, Miss Yale went to the balcony to knit a scarf after lunch, and then I chatted with her for a bit. Later, she said she got her period and went to rest in the bedroom.”
Butler Santana did not dare to hide anything from Sylvan and told him everything.
“Understood.”
Sylvan did not ask further and sat down to have dinner.
In the bedroom, Jasmine propped up her head, her gaze distant.
The TV was on, and the bedroom suddenly beca much livelier.

Thinking of the little guy’s smiling face, Jasmine smiled as well, her lips curving upwards, her eyes sparkling like stars and moonlight.
When Sylvan entered the room, he just happened to see her smiling foolishly.
