Chapter 1452: Chapter 1452: Don’t Call My Na, Get Lost

Lilac Serval was half sober, and under the dim light, she kicked him hard.

But Charles Mcintosh hadn’t been drinking, and his physical skills were naturally better than Lilac Serval’s.

He immobilized her hands, rendering her unable to move, and a fierce kiss laced with dominance landed on her lips.

Charles rarely lost his temper.

In the eyes of outsiders, he was Sylvan Cheney’s capable assistant, composed and ticulous, with emotions never showing on his face.

But Lilac Serval repeatedly provoked all of his boundaries.

In this kiss, he took the dominant position.

He sieged the fortress, she counterattacked, biting and tearing.

After a few monts of struggling, it no longer resembled a kiss but more like two prey fighting fiercely.

Taking advantage of her drunkenness, Lilac Serval bit him.

Biting him fiercely!

In pain, Charles straightened up, releasing her lips but still holding her hands down to prevent her from moving!

Lilac Serval’s lips were swollen, her hair disheveled.

Charles wasn’t in a better state either, with his collar undone and hair a ssy tangle.

The air slled of blood and strong alcohol.

“Are you crazy?” Lilac Serval glanced at him with indifference, “Charles, I really hate you like this.”

“What about doesn’t make you hate ? You just don’t like ,” he retorted.

With a sneer, Lilac Serval replied: “You got it right, I just despise you, so what? I hope you won’t pester . After all, you’re the one going to jail. Think of it as a consideration for . If a scandal arises, how could I ever get married?”

“Lilac Serval!”

“Don’t call my na, get lost.”

Her body was pinned down by him, unable to move.

She wasn’t as strong as him, her skills not as good as his, so she could only curse him to her satisfaction.

He deserved it.

“Lilac Serval, are you happy to see go to jail?”

“Yes, I got my wish. Seeing you in misery makes very happy.” She enunciated the last few words slowly and deliberately.

Very happy.

A glint of despair flashed across Charles’s eyes, but only for a few seconds.

His expression didn’t change much, but his eyes held a trace of bloodlust.

His sharp gaze was fixed on Lilac Serval, his pupils contracted, his eyes filled with only her.

He didn’t speak.

Suddenly, the booth fell silent, not a sound to be heard.

Lilac Serval’s mind was dull, and she seed to hear a buzzing in her ears, which was quite uncomfortable.

Her body was throbbing with blood pulsing through her veins, the alcohol starting to hit her.

For a long while.

Charles spoke slowly: “I didn’t co here tonight to cause trouble, I have sothing to give you.”

“I don’t want it,” Lilac Serval almost blurted out automatically.

“If you don’t want it, then throw it away!” Charles raised his voice, his brows held a suppressed anger.

He took a jewelry box out of his coat pocket.

A dark red satin brocade box, small and delicate.

The satin shimred under the light, looking even more elegant and noble.

Charles opened it.

Inside was a pair of sapphire earrings, diamond-encrusted in a rhombus shape, exquisitely carved and of high quality.

The sapphire had a subdued color, quietly exuding a deep luster.

The diamonds were dazzling but not overbearing, the overall impression was one of understated luxury.

Lilac Serval stared at the earrings for a long ti.

She admitted they were beautiful.

“They’re for you. Do you mind if I put them on for you?” Charles held the box open.

“I mind.”

“…” Charles shook his head, not forcing her, and closed the jewelry box, placing it in the palm of her hand, “Then you put them on yourself.”

“I told you I don’t want them.”

“I also said, if you don’t want them, then throw them away.”
