“If you don’t earn a scholarship this sester, you’ll retake the year until you’ve secured a full scholarship.”
“!!!” Jasmine was stunned. “Do you know how hard it is to get a scholarship at the University of Cakago?!”
“Isn’t your academic performance good? No need to worry, right?”
“You can’t be serious!”
“If you can’t manage that, I won’t feel assured letting you join my company in the future.”
Jasmine gritted her teeth. What kind of logic is this?
She nodded. “Well, just wait and see. I’ll win a full scholarship. Otherwise, I won’t be able to afford to support you.”
“Alright, I’ll hold you to it.”
“Do you know what my real goal is for studying abroad?” Jasmine suddenly murmured softly, her eyes landing on him.
“Hmm?”
She smiled. “Not telling you.”

Jasmine bit on her straw, the sweet heat of the cocoa running into her heart, both warm and sugary.
Studying abroad was, of course, for a better future.
“How co you’re not missing Sweet Kitty right now?” Sylvan asked.
“I do miss her. But if I had to choose between you and Sweet Kitty, I’d still… choose you.” Jasmine’s cheeks flushed deeper. “Sweet Kitty has Aunt Camden to take care of her.”
“You’re comparing to a cat, huh?”
“Can’t I?”
“Of course not.”
“Then who should I compare you to?” Jasmine shot him a glance. What’s wrong with it? They’re all her treasures.
“Hmm… Chale Cheney.”
“How shaless! Competing with a child? And your own son, no less.”
“Then tell , when you’re in Cakago, will you miss more or miss Chale Cheney more?”
“I refuse to answer.” Jasmine protested.
She knows Sylvan is just an Old Fox. However she answers, it’ll be wrong.
This fox, all he ever does is dig traps for her to fall into!

“Is the cocoa good?” Sylvan lowered his head, glancing at the cup in her hand.
“It’s delicious. Want a taste?” Jasmine pushed the cup toward him, sliding it right in front of him.
