As Jasmine Yale turned her head, she happened to catch Charles Mcintosh’s bewildered and reluctant gaze.
The cigarette burned between Charles Mcintosh’s fingers, surrounded by smoke, his figure sowhat rigid.

Standing alone in the airport lounge, Jasmine Yale’s gaze moved to Sylvan Cheney.

Jasmine Yale held him, leaning against his chest.
“You have to stay with always.” Jasmine Yale’s cheek pressed against his chest, “Can you?”
“I can.”
“Am I being too greedy…”
“This isn’t called greed.”
Jasmine Yale refused to let go, a feeling she couldn’t conceal spread in her heart, like seaweed, suffocating her.
Occasionally, glances were cast their way, the crowd looked at Jasmine Yale and Sylvan Cheney like a couple.
Sylvan Cheney covered her face, unwilling to let her be exposed to too many public eyes.
After a long ti, Jasmine Yale’s mood finally recovered a bit.
“Let’s go, we need to go ho.” Sylvan Cheney bowed his head, looking at her face.
Jasmine Yale obediently nodded her head.
Charles Mcintosh was still standing there, consecutively smoking several cigarettes.
Sunlight fell, casting his slender silhouette in a lonely shadow on the ground.
When he looked back at the departure lobby, the person he wanted to see was no longer there.
“Charles Mcintosh, it’s ti to go.” Sylvan Cheney patted his shoulder.
“Mr. Cheney, you take Jasmine first.” Charles Mcintosh’s eyes shimred with an elusive light, he silently gazed at the airport hall, standing quietly.
Sylvan Cheney said no more and left with Jasmine Yale.
He wouldn’t interfere in anyone’s private life, and he treated Charles Mcintosh the sa way.
But Jasmine Yale was still sowhat puzzled; she followed Sylvan Cheney into the car, fastened her seatbelt, and couldn’t help but glance back at Charles Mcintosh.
She could spot Charles Mcintosh in an instant because he stood out amongst the surrounding pedestrians.
Sylvan Cheney turned her small head, “Sit properly.”
Jasmine Yale looked at him, “Does Mr. Mcintosh… really like Little Lilac?”
“So curious about other people’s feelings? Hmm?”
“Just a little bit, I know they’ve known each other for a long ti, since training camp.” Jasmine Yale rubbed her seatbelt.
“They’ve known each other for a long ti, but I stopped going to the training camp after I turned fourteen, and whatever happened between them, I don’t know.”
Jasmine Yale knew that when Sylvan Cheney was fourteen, his family underwent a major upheaval.
Thinking of that upheaval, a dull feeling surfaced in Jasmine Yale’s chest.
She rembered that Qingming was approaching.
Every Qingming Festival, Sylvan Cheney spent the entire day at the cetery.
